great location if you are going to TCF Bank stadium. local restaurants and bars w/in walking distance. and you can get Green Line transportation to Minneapolis or St Paul. Mall of america etc right next to Hotel
closeness to hospital
smoking in front of building looks tacky would be nice to make a place away from the entrance
Location. Across the street from the stadium.
Double beds instead of Queen.
I love the bus shuttle services provided by the hotel
The shuttle services could be extended to cover other areas of Minneapolis
Proximity to transportation Delicious continental breakfast Cleanliness Staff very accommodating and friendly
One shuttle driver not exactly personable
We had to make trips to Minneapolis Medical Center. This hotel's location is ideal for this purpose. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good enough to fill us and get us started on our day. Having the light rail right across the street is another plus. Overall very satisfied with our accommodations.
The breakfast area is a bit small for the size of the hotel. More seating and a larger food area is needed. More shower pressure would have been nice.
Front desk was very nice, very helpful. In person and on the phone.
Dirty windows, wall in bathroom in bad shape, shower is terrible! Housekeeper was not nice at all to my friend but we did not get her name. I worked in a hotel and learned to be nice to customers and she was not so no tip for her!
The beds were firm and really comfortable Wifi included is always good
Breakfast was satisfactory. May be a few more fruits like banana, oranges etc than just apples only The rooms smelled a bit musty when I entered and running the fan reduced it. Fan is a bit too loud
LOCATION! Right across the street from the TCF Stadium where I was going for a Gopher game. They even said I could have tailgated there if I wanted to. Very nice staff. I'm already booked to stay there again.
No Pool. That's it. My 8 year old would have loved to go to the pool after the game.
great place to stay while I am having multiple surgeries at the U
Our reservations were messed up but we were able to straightened them up somewhat. The rooms were suppose to be close together but they weren't.
Convenient location. Friendly staff.
Wi-Fi connection was often very bad. Two elevators, but both were very slow and one often out of service. Breakfast not as good as at many other Days Inn locations.
Your hospitality and courtesy is infectious. The prompt attention to guests request is worthy of emulation by others in an hospitality business. The provision of transportation facilities to your lodgers at no cost is commendable. This helped to facilitate guests getting promptly to transacting their business or other official assignments without any problem of locating places especially first timers to such environment like myself. Your appetizing breakfast gives me a feeling I was still on my dinning table at home! The strategic location of Days inn Minneapolis allows guests ease of movement to their varied points of business/private/official transactions. Your service rate is realistic compared to your clients deliverables Really at Days inn Minneapolis it's home away from home
Nothing that I had seen negatively within my six nights of comfort rest at the Days inn Minneapolis. But as human there can never be perfection in nature. So do try to get energizer with lodgers comments to spurr you to improving your device delivery to your customers.
The Hotel Shuttle was a nice touch and the front desk especially Emily.
Breakfast. no baked beans, sausages. Also on two occasion I had to take out my rubbish after my room was said to have been cleaned!
The breakfast doesn't have much options
Friendly Staff Location New Lobby area
Older rooms still need to be updated Showers/toilet area very small
The location was great - right by the University, and it was easy to leave I94 and drive to. To us being near the University meant it was near some of the network of bike paths, which was important to us (Vacationers who bike).
Our biggest complaint was to be told "free wifi" only to find out that yes, there was wifi, but it was worthless - unless you were trying early afternoon when most people were out. We had planned on using the wifi network at Day's Inn, to decide what we wanted to do each day, but ended up going to a coffee shop, because we couldn't even check our email at Day's Inn. Anther complaint : Toilets needed plunging (we saw employees with plungers in the halls several times, and the final morning ours needed it, too) and the cleanliness was sketchy, too
space, closeness to areas we wanted to visit.
Hooks or hangers needed for towels and toiletry bags.
In every aspect of human comfort, the is superb.
Breakfast was good. It was nice to have protein to start the day.
Hotel was being remodeled. There was no signs about sorry for the inconvenience etc. and yet there was carpet and construction items laying around in the lobby area and halls. Front desk staff had food sitting on the counter and were eating where people were checking in. It was not very professional. Perhaps they could keep their food in the back office to eat?
cannot get change for laundry 24 hrs per day.
Convenient to the green line
The night we arrived, they couldn't get our key to work so put us in another room where the bathroom carpet was wet (would soak right thru your socks) for the 3 nights, for unknown reasons. There was no other room to move us. The staff seemed to be universally clueless about public transit, and had no idea what bus lines the hotel was on, or even where the bus stops were. Housekeeping woke us up one morning at 8:15 a.m to clean, and did not return until after 3pm.
Location by light rail
The room had an odor. Either leftover smoke or perhaps mold. My daughter had allergic reaction-congested, stuffy. Within 24 hours of checking out, it was gone. The breakfast area was crammed into a small room on the 2 nd floor. Terrible layout and not very appetizing either.
