This historic New Orleans hotel was built in a refurbished bank and still features some of the original vault doors. It is less than a 15-minute walk from the French Quarter.

The water pressure was very low and we asked someone to check it out and they said they would but the pressure was still very low. Not sure if they checked it out.
Pool - unclean and small
The staff did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable while also giving us our privacy. Were quick to assist when fridge went on the fritz. Room was spacious and in a great location between bourbon st and french quarter. Pool was very well kept and kitchen very appropriately stocked with all accomidations needed to prepare meals. Plenty of blankets, pillows, bathroom amenities, hangers, mirrors, and etc.
The fridge went on the fritz during the stay. The roof top patio was undergoing work so we didnt get the opportunity to experience that. Couch and corner of room had disconcerting white stains on them. Shower curtain kept falling down due to it being a cheap retractable stick. Shower and tub leaked continously.
I loved how unique this hotel was and pleased with the location that was in the middle of all the areas we wanted to see. Our room was a little tricky to get to but we got used to it and it added to the uniqueness.
I did not like that the roof deck was shut down for the time we were there and the small pool area could have been a bit more tidied up to add to the ambiance and serenity of the area. Maybe a little local music piped in.
The suite was spacious and VERY nice. The price was great AND we had two bedrooms and a kitchen...fully stocked. This going to be my friends and I "go to" place from now on. We loved it!!!!! It is a hidden gem.
I have no negatives.
Convenience of location
Wasn't made aware that rooftop was under renovation during our stay
Staff was friendly. Suite was good sized. Excellent location and good parking available.
The location is great!
A bit older than expected.
The space was amazing,it was alot more than what we were expecting. Our suite was 3 story with a private roof and everyone felt at home. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone. True New Orleans charm!
The staff was very helpful, the hotel was a great value for the money, everything was in walking distance and the trollies were also close. Their was a parking lot right next to the hotel which was reasonably priced. It was a great stay. Overall I would recommend this hotel for families or large groups. I will return myself in the future.
The pool was not really a pool, think they should just convert to a hot tub for the size. Breakfest was normally coffee and crossiants which was good but would have been better if they provided some jellies to go with it.
Big room with a jacuzzi bathtub that worked very good. Lot's of space and amazing location.
A bit dated yet it is part of its charm.
Great value. Very quaint, good location.
The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were nice and over all a great deal!! The staff went out of our way to help with all of our needs!!
Faulty door lock in our room, my children and mother were locked in and we were locked out, resulting in busting the door and crawling through a whole to move all of our things to another room, but staff was quick to help and were very apologetic.
not having television in the bedroom.
The layout of the room. We had the Deluxe Family Suite
Easy to reach both conference center and French quarter areas. Excellently-equipped kitchen and spacious living room with big sofas. Best for parents and 2~3 kids.
A bit old bathroom with poor ventilation. Household left a wet part of the carpet for a few days...
Location and security
The large room size/family suite allowed us to fit 4 adults per room very comfortably, and this place has several suites like this, perfect for big groups coming to town for a good time.
The customer service was awesome! All the employees were very friendly and eager to help. The second suite we stayed in was beautiful and spacious with all the comforts of home. The location of the hotel was in walking distance of many restaurants and city attractions.
The first suite wasn't easily accessible. It involved going outside through the open air pool area, while raining, to a separate building with a very small, rickety, seemingly unsafe, 500lb capacity elevator or a choice of a winding wrought iron staircase up three flights, which is not an easy task for a senior, heavy person, and a small child.there's also no parking for the hotel and paid parking next door is $25 dollars a day and if you leave you lose your parking! I would have made other arrangements but the it was a last minute option due to a mix up in my booking arrangements.
THINGS DIDN'T WORK. ONLY ONE BATHROOM. STAFF INDIFFERENT.
Staff very friendly, helpful. Two bedroom condo very nice, well equipped. Beds comfortable, although a bit creaky, as were the floors. Not unexpected, since the building is historical/very old. Convenient to the French Quarter, the river, great restaurants, riverside trolley. Would definitely stay there again.
No parking available unless you gambled at the casino around the corner. Worked it out so we were out and about during the day, and parked on street after/before restricted hours. Could be noisy if fellow guests were not considerate ( we had one night of loud voices, cursing on stairs and in courtyard).
Good location and a small hotel
Found it noisy
Great location room very comfortable
I liked the help I received from the staff and the beauty of the room. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in a nice, comfortable place in New Orleans.
