Cleaning and convinent
A little noisy near LGA
Cleanliness, nice facilities, pleasant staff
I was slightly turned off by its location (being above a market place in the asain district was a little unexpected) but otherwise no complaints
very good. it was nice place for u if u have happy time in "shifen ok"
Found the hotel while looking for a hotel close to the airport. It's such a surreal place. Location is weird. The outside does not look much and getting to the hotel lobby is confusing. But once you get in it actually not too bad. The rooms are big, clean and comfy. shops and restaurants in the building which is very confusing. It's hard to describe the place cause I've never experienced a place like it. Free wifi and free breakfast at the roof top.
Nice space for room and the breakfast was good with nice view at rooftop
We stayed 3 nights. They cleaned our room every day,but all the time they forgot to leave towels. So we had to call the front desk every night when we back to hotel and ask clean towels ...
The hotel and its amenities
If you are not a fan of chinese food, you will not find nearby places to eat.
The cleanliness leaves to be desired. In the hallway toward our room we noticed a dead cockroach, which was lying there for the entire time (7 overnights) we stayed there. Also in our room a candy paper was lying on the floor next to the sideboard for a couple of days until I picked it up myself. I thought they would use vaccuum cleaners, but as mentioned before above, apparently only once in a while. The showers have to be turned on in the cold water setting and switched by hand to a warmer setting, but you have to be in the shower to accomplish that, until you get warm water you are taking a cold shower (thermostats on the showers would have been a great accomplishment). We could not use the shuttle for guests for a couple of times in the morning because it was full, we had to wait for another hour. One morning it dawned on me why this had happened. Supposedly the shuttle is for guests of the Hotel ONLY, my sister and me were the first ones on it the next morning and then it started filling up with local Chinese residents coming from off of the Hotel Site. Three of the Hotel guests came out right before 9am and the shuttle was full. The driver was not there at the time and I told a couple of them that the reason they would not be able to get on the shuttle was due to the local residents getting free rides into the Flushing area. They complained to the driver who then had some of the residents exit the shuttle. Of course, we did not understand since the driver was speaking Chinese to the people in the shuttle. The breakfast you will have to consume on plastic plates, cups, fork, knives and spoons. For 5 consecutive days we had scrambled eggs with sausage patties, waffles you have to fix yourselves, really 2 kinds of yoghurt (banana and strawberry), 3 different kinds of chinese soups in a cup to add hot water to, some chinese dumplings, orange, grape and apple juice, coffee and tea.
Great shuttle service Comfortable beds
The location and facilities
The breakfast buffet could be better
Nothing but the filtered ice machine
I hate that the staff lie about the shuttle service constantly! The staff is unconcern about your safety. The hotel room stinks the refrigeration even had a bad odor. The elevators stunk the 4th follow stink. I hate I couldn't print my itinerary out because of the wifi, I hate that I used more than half of my data package durning my stay. I felt like a prisoner there. I would never stay or recommend that to anyone. This place was disgusting
The staff and quality of the hotel was excellent. Airport very near and complimentary shuttle. Breakfast was very good and complimentary too. Amazing guest services all inclusive. Large bed and bath. Very clean
Wouldn't want to stay if I were not airport bound in the morning. Location was inconvient if staying in manhattan
Good: the terrace had an amazing view, breakfast was free and good, modern decor, AC,
Bad: poor location, weird hotel set up being joint to a grocery store,
Staff is competent and efficient. Price includes buffet breakfast on roof with an incredible view of the NYC skyline. Hotel is above market, Lemon Tree Spa, Chinese and Italian take out. Buffet has incredible food.
Taxi is imperative.unless you have your own car.
Quiet hotel Free parking Breakfast on the roof Groceries, fast food and laundry all in the building
Wifi was hit and miss Room was small
A good up to date place that has a market, all you can eat buffet, karaoke, and much more. Staff is friendly and informative even when I had no idea what I was doing with my first trip there. I was greeted with a smile all over the place. Sheets and soaps always new when needed. I enjoyed my stay at De Point a lot.
Clean great staff
Shuttle service on the weekend not reliable ended up using the q25 bus 45 minute subway to times square
Clean Modern Breakfast
The roof top breastfast is excellant with beautiful skyline views.
Nothing, was perfect
Inside what appears to be a drab building is a very decent hotel. The area is Flushing is a bit quirky. Asian and Latin American influences, tucked inside an old neighborhood. Chinese supermarket on the ground floor. Delicious, but pricy, Chinese buffet with lots of fresh seafood. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing views from the top floor, breakfast room / disco.
The airport shuttle was broken, the limo company which was contracted to ferry clients to LGA was very late.
New Clean Modern Comfy Bed GREAT shower
Confusing Entrance Beautiful Hotel within an Asian Marketplace
What a weird setting but a fantastic hotel!
The neatness and staff
Noise from the club at the roof top
