The comfort and all the nice people
It was an impromptu trip, reserved a room the night before. We had a wonderful time. We liked everything! Hope to return at some point.
The size of the room and the pool was great fun for my young kids.
The pillows were uncomfortable and the bed was just so-so. Hampton Inns beds are much more comfortable.
The 2 restaurants at the hotel and every thing we needed was right there.
The turn going into the hotel ,showed up at night and traffic was bad.
Food, beverage service and slots
The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The manager was very nice and helped out when we were put into a room that hadn't been cleaned. The staff was helpful and overall it was a good stay.
When we first went into our room it wasn't clean we were then put into another room, but other then that everything was pretty good.
Clean friendly and great price
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. This included front desk, waitresses, and bartenders. The restaurants were excellent. We stayed three nights at The Lodge. From there we ventured out to the various attractions. There was a trolley every hour to take you to and from downtown. This was very convenient.
All our thoughts were super positive!!
Can not remember anything that I disliked.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and the rooms were comfortable.
We loved everything!
The friendliness of the gaming staff!!! What a pleasant environment!!
Great casino. Loved the shuttle option from hotel. Loved the 10x magnifying make up mirror! Had a sandwich in restuarant and it was very good!
Left our atlas in room and clerk did check with someone about whether it had been found and turned in but of course they didn't. The clerk seemed indifferent and that perturbed me.
Really nicely decorated. Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was really good and good value for money, we had a lovely waitress Linda who was so friendly and welcoming, she made us feel right at home.
Not a huge fan of gambling or slot machines and you have to walk through that area to get to the bar and breakfast area, I think it should be separate.
Quality of the room and Casino.
Liked everything. No negatives.
clean rooms, comfy bed
Warm, cozy, and comfortable environment! You pay for what you get!
Really nice rooms, sports bar was great and resonable prices
Beautiful facilities, good payouts!
when checking into the Hotel the staff member who was helping us stopped half way through our checkin process to answer the phone. She then spent the next eight to ten minutes chating about the surrounding area and the city of Deadwood. Not even a sorry for the delay, did we recieve from this person. Some one needs to do a better job of training the individuals who greet your customers. I did not drive a hundred miles to spend my money to be ignored and set aside the very minute we arrived. I can get that treatment in Vegas!
My wife and I stayed at the lodge during sturgis 2014. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning on attending Sturgis or just visiting Deadwood. We loved it!!!!
The price was unreasonable. Our daughter stayed in June for $139 night. Our room was $309. $170 per night more. I understand supply and demand but that was gouging! Will think twice before we stay again!
Had an amazing meal at the sports bar. Huge portions. Great service. English footy on tv's.
