Breakfest room was good
Like prior statements if your room is on the freeway side of the building we were on the 8th floor the freeway noise is awful
Between highway and big street - very noise during the night
Location,staff nd breakfast
One elevator nd no tissue
Free shuttle and best free breakfast I've had at a hotel
Bathroom wasn't cleaned right the whole time. The use of stained linen
Service very clean. The staff were so polite great location every thing I needed
The shuttle bus made the stay so much better the guys would drop you wherever you wanted to go, and you just had to call them to pick you up
Location and staff
Bed. Didn't like soft pillows and nit having hard mattress
we rented 2 rooms. Our friends had to change rooms as the window overlooking the parking wouldn't close properly. Even tho' they've asked for non-smoking floor, the "non-smoking" 2nd floor was stinking w/ cigarette smoke. They were also awakened at 5am by noises of people yelling & talking… Our room was ok. the heater's fan noise neutralized the noise from the parking...
Parking was bad. Not enough parking for the capacity of the hotel. Double parking is never good.
The bang for our buck!
No shuttle to and from the airport, we had to hire a taxi! I think that would encourage more people to stay with Holiday Express!!
Only one elevator working. Very crowded. Missing amenadies from room.
Breakfast was good and fresh, easy to get to.
The location of this hotel is right below and bridge with a loud train running at all hours of the day and night and behind a major highway. This information really needs to be made public especially to families with young children. We have a 2 year old and thank goodness he is a good sleeper otherwise we would have packed up and left in the middle of the night. It was soooo loud, my husband and I didn't sleep at all. The hotel also makes you pay for parking which is also not made public.

Breakfast and a shuttle service was included in the cost of the stay. The cost was per room and not per person.
the room otherwise was very comfortable and clean the staff was very friendly
the toilet moved and the shower water never got hot a Luke warm
Staff was super friendly, sweet and very helpful! My mom had to change rooms due to rowdy neighbors, and while the situation could have been handled a little better, she got a nice new room she really loved in the end! Our room was a bit noisy at times as well but the view made up for it. Might wanna think about investing in soundproof windows in rooms overlooking the interstate, though :) Beds were extremely comfortable, rooms were clean and spacious! Breakfast was excellent! Many hot and cold options to choose from, tea, coffee, milk to drink etc. We didn't expect the complimentary breakfast to be this fantastic, so we were pleasantly surprised! Excellent location! We were able to walk everywhere and discover Philly in all its glory on foot. The hotel is close to many lovely restaurants, many historic buildings and arguably the most beautiful parts of the city. Definitely highly recommended! Thanks a lot for making our stay as enjoyable as it was! :)
good overall, clean, comfortable, enough space, location.
The air conditioner in the room is noisy.
Had little to no hot water in the shower for 4 if hrs. Ordered in and ate pizza the first night, put leftovers and boxes with the trash can and they were never taken away/thrown away for all 4 days. First morning was waiting for the shuttle driver, who was in the hotel for 20 minutes...turns out he was waiting to take an employee home when her shift finished so I missed the beginning of my meeting. Took a cab the rest of the week because of unreliability of the driver.
We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this hotel has a shuttle to transport guests! Major plus that we didn't have to drive after we checked in. The continental breakfast was more than we expected and very satisfying. We will definitely stay here again.
The van driver was wonderful and very helpful. Took us where we wanted to go and picked us up after dinner. Gave great tour guide info on drive.
This hotel is in a great location right on the waters edge with views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. It was in very close walking distance of Market Street restaurants and bars and Penns Landing. The rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. The free breakfast was pretty good too but it was busy so get in early. Overall it was a great stay!
Front desk staff was most pleasant I've experienced in a while . Thank you
Bathroom had a few dirty tissues under the sink behind the waste basket
Hotel was clean, comfortable and my room was well kept and exactly as expected. Breakfast was nice with variety of hot/cold options.
Parking was problematic. Mitigation was to double park and valet attendant would move and re-park. Did not realize $25 overnight parking fee, but gather that is to offset need for valet attendants.
The people were fantastic, very helpful, energetic and friendly. The location was good, the breakfast was fantastic, and the rooms clenliness couldn't have been better. The staff at the desk was amazing, especially the manager!
$25 for parking stunk but the price of the hotel made up for it, also the room didn't have a fridge or microwave (we had leftovers that we had to throw away)
Like the friendly staff
WIFI was useless, and the place was noisy
