This is 10-20 minutes from Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, the reason whey we booked. There are many neighborhoods and as a result there are many storefronts to serve the neighborhoods. This was very convenient overall.

HJowever, the receptionist was very uncooperative, disinterested in helping me and down right rude. Could hardly be bothered to look at me to answer where the room was.
the room was situated in a very poor place, was similar to being in a shanty ghetto. Run down and needing a face lift.

The Tiny Barn was a perfect base for the time we spent in the Everglades. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We did not even turn the TV on. Being located in an Orchard was really good and secluded. Want to stay again. Local restaurants were very good. Havana Spice and Shavers were great local non chain places full of local guests.

You demand a deposit of $383.00 the day of arrival, I think we should have been told at time of booking. At check out we made sure everything was as we received. Now you hold the deposit saying we damaged your sheets and towels, that's a con and you know it. Potential renters before you leave take PICTURES of everything. Management is a lier and a crook. Beware!!! Cover yourself otherwise they will wrongfully steal your deposit. They did. Ours..if you can stayway from them pass this on to other innocent vacationers.
We had a double suite. It was clean and spacious. Location has plenty around it, but we drove a litle further for an awesome Thai food place, as most close by were just chains. Breakfast was ok, but the star of it was the oatmeal.. it is AWESOME! Parking is good, always found a spot. Modern decor, friendly staff. We stayed in the area to be in between Everglades and Biscayne tours. Not much to do in Homestead, I'd stay closer to Miami if to do it all again. Hotel however, was pleasant enough.
initially when we pulled up outside I had a little reservation, however on entering the house it was lovely, clean and well stocked. There are lots to do locally and a gorgeous drive to the Keys.
Area is quiet ( apart from the peacocks 😂) neighbourhood is friendly.Host responsive and helpful.
Lots of shopping, restaurants within a short drive.
I stayed for two nights at the Garden Inn while visiting Key Largo and the Everglades. The location is ideal for this purpose. It is around half an hour drive to Key Largo and the Royal Palm area of the Everglades. Breakfast was basic, but still provided a good start to the day. The staff was generally very friendly.
We were primarily in the area to see friends and scuba dive at Biscayne Bay National Park. This house was in a great location to access the National Park. It has hard floors throughout and all of them were easy to keep clean. The house was roomy and furnished comfortably for our needs.
It’s a standard stopover hotel for business people or tourists passing through (like us). Nothing exceptional or memorable either way - just the sort of offering you’d expect from a chain hotel in this price range. The bed was particularly comfortable and we both slept well.
For anyone travelling to the Keys, this hotel is the best place to stay the night before heading south. Easy to get to easy to find your way out of Homestead.
Great food, fantastic staff, highly recommend this family run establishment!
María is the nicest host. The place was very clean and smelled delicious. The temperature was great and I loved it had Alexa. This would be the BEST place I have stayed if it was located in a centric area.
Overall a very nice stay. Staff was very helpful. Facility was clean. Reasonable price for the area and decently close to a variety of destinations (keys, everglades, Miami, etc.)
We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was just fine. Could have stayed longer. If ever in the area we would stay here again for a longer period. Hosts were very friendly.
This place is in a nice secured area that is clean and very nice. Since we dive along, we will definitely be looking to book here again in the near future.
