Nice room, Nice porch
$20 Breakfast! Total tourist trap! Booked river view room, got view of the parking lot, they wouldn't even attempt a switch for us.
Our Front Cabin on the River. Updated Cabin with a wonderful view of the River. The Privacy was so Romantic, Loved the Close location to town & to Denali Park, just several minutes away,
No wireless inside room
The number of things to do there: high quality restaurant, nice saloon, stores and evening entertainment.
The bathroom was a little small, the window didn't work properly.
everything. location, surroundings, staff, food, etc. etc. etc.
moose were in hiding
River views, fire pits, bean bags and horse shoes, breakfast.
Appearance of the lodge main building and its location on the Nenana River. We liked it so much that we came back for a second time in as many years.
I appreciate the fact that most resorts have to earn their money during the short 4-month summer season; however, we think that at least a continental breakfast bar should be included in the accommodation charges. Anything beyond that, one should be able to choose from a menu. Suggest to increase car parking closer to the rooms for non-bus travelers.
The room given to us was near a construction site-so there was no easy access to the room. Made it especially difficult to get the luggages in the room.
The front desk manager was able to provide us with a room at a much cheaper rate than that which was quoted by booking.com.
Even though I had an email from booking.com saying the room had been reserved, the hotel had no record of my reservation. They said that had happened several times with booking.com. Also, the bathroom had a bad smell to it, possibly from a pipe that caem from the second floor.
Staff are nice.
When booked online, it says double room, but it is a small single room. The toilet was blocked.
Quiet room by the river. Outdoor fire. Good wifi
Booked in with my mother for 3 nights. Very confusing signage, resort has 2 names. We had to be moved at midnight on our first night due to a noisy 'concert' from next door! New room was much better, quiet & by the river. Previous cabin was very basic & generally noisy.
Front desk staff were helpful rearranging tour, accidentally rescheduling on wrong day, but staff corrected error and got us what we wanted. Roomy.
Housekeeping left deck window open and. Room was vulnerable and cold upon our return from all day outing.
Lobby and overall look of the resort
Cost of breakfast
Restaurant was horrible
Excellent location - close to Denali NP. Room was clean, lodge was spacious, bed was comfortable. Price was reasonable.
We stayed 2 days at the lodge, then checked out in order to camp in the park for the next 2 days. After camping in Denali NP, we decided to extend our stay at Denali and re-check into the lodge for 2 days. Suddenly, the price was significantly higher than just 2 days ago, and there was limited availability; although, we could clearly see many empty units. The lodge should consider staying fully open until the end of the season. Also, the sudden increase in price was unsettling.
