It was very clean and very near where we were going to an event. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I have been charged $29.00 for I don't know what. I agree with my rate charge for my room. However, I don't know what the extra $29.00 charge was for. This is upsetting, and I intend on taking this up with my credit card company as we did not incur any extra charges for bar/food or restaurant services. I think this is a mix-up.

Loved the trendy decor and the room was very nice with a large seating area. Hotel staff were friendly and nice. Hadn't realized there was valet parking and was charged $27.00 for overnight parking. Often it took a while to get our car. Other than that no complaints. I thought it was good value for the money and a very chic, comfortable hotel in a great location

Hotel was very cool and chic. Loved the room. Work out room was decent. We would definitely stay here or at another Hotel Derek again. Pool was small. Not crazy about the location. Area was nice, but couldn't walk around downtown.

The view and big windows Didn't like anything, the shower faucet sprayed water all over the bathroom, the hair dryer didn't work, the windows are not sound proof so it's very noisy in the morning, we did not get the room we reserved for . Will never come back again!!!!

Hotel has unique decor and is very clean. No self parking option - valet parking was $23/day and the valet staff was very unfriendly. Hotel room was not ready by 5:00 P.M. when check-in was 3:00 P.M.

The hotel was nice, staff was very nice especially valet personnel. Our bed was a bit uncomfortable, the bathroom light kept tripping the breaker and had to be reset everytime you turned on the light. I called the front desk and maintenance came up only to tell me that it was normal to rereset the breaker every time. Really?!

The staff was very friendly and I appreciated the level of comfort and style. I was also pleased with the noon check-out time. Given the location, it would be nice to be able to go to my car whenever I like (to get something I might have forgotten, to go to dinner or the Galleria, etc). Having to valet was a bit taxing and I felt that the charges were a little extraneous. Our party had 4 vehicles...

I loved the location of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and the staff was very friendly. Though it was raining and cold, the pool area looked to be very relaxing. that we didn't find the starbucks until the last day.
