The Bohemian atmosphere, the painted rooms and the central location. Bathroom facilities in our room (one of the painted rooms) were very bad with a leking shower tap and an extremely small washbasin. Breakfast is just a complimentary (very very) light breakfast served in a small room.

Helpful staff, decent rooms, interesting building, modern bathroom. Much better wifi than many other hotels I've stayed at. Can get noisy on the street late at night.

Very clean. Good location. One of a kind place. Great value for money but best suited for young people or backpackers. Bathroom smaller than small. Stairwells are narrow and steep and the elevator was claustraphobic.

Location was best feature. Rooms are "cozy" (small) but cute. An older hotel with charm and interesting art/photograhs line the hallways. Wish I could find a hotel with decent continental breakfast. Not here. Just the typical white bagels, brown muffins, tea and coffee. Not healthy. Cramped stairways could be a problem for tall people.

I liked the rooms, they were really nice and original. The locations was the biggest plus of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there another time if I had the chance. As an advise the rooms located near the alley meight be too loud during the morning hours due to the noise of gargabe trucks.

The drawings in the wall were very ugly and we didnt like them. The stairs and the bathroom size were very short and unconfortable. We stayed one night and change to another hotel. They charged an extra US $ 100.00 for not staying the 3 nights as reserved.

Great decor with designers giving a different and unique look to each room. Unfortunately my room was located near some sort of furnace, which occasionally starts "whirring" during random periods in the night.

The fact that it was in the heart of the city and close proximity to my training centre. Hmmm..no .1 the un cooperative attitude of the staff. Quite un welcoming to say the least, Also the fact that when you use their toilet you never put the toilet roll you used to clean up inside the toilet and flush or else all your shit will just come back to you and fill up your room. At least thats what happened to me. And they had the guts to warn me not to do it again or else it would be an issue. Am amazed that a hotel like that does not have good plumbing. Whaaaaaaaaat!

Unique and chic. I was very impressed with Hotel Des Arts. As the Marketing Manager for a small Boutique Hotel in Florida, I always look to support smaller independently run properties. I loved the style, staff, location and especially the Social Media integration. It was nice to see an active member of your staff monitoring social media for guests preferences, and Hotel Des Arts now follows me on twitter! This hotel seems like a place I would love to work! If Hotel Des Arts ever needs a team member (operations, marketing, social media, sales) I would love the opportunity! Little musty on some floors but smell did not transfer to rooms.

All in all I really enjoyed staying in the hotel. Staff was pleasant, there was wifi in the hotel - they even offered a complimentary breakfast! The room was small with only some hangers on the wall, but the room was *very* clean. The bathroom was sized OK (I had the private bathroom option) and again kept very clean. The stairs were very narrow, so take the elevator with big luggage. Also, the windows were pretty much non-existent, all noise came through and also the wind :) No cupboard (but they did provide hangers).

The location was excellent. We had an interior room, which is okay if you're just there to sleep, but it would be nice to see something other than 3 walls with windows. Also the claw foot tub/shower is unsteady, and you feel feel as though you're in an earthquake while you're trying to shower.
