We're family having kids traveling together. The kitchen equipment is recommended.
Comfortable, great value.
Free bikes, kitchen facilities, BBQ, location.
One of the pools should be adult only. Noisy kids in both pools was not relaxing. Walls thin; could hear the family in the next suite, especially in the mornings and evenings.
Love that it has separate living area and kitchen. Grounds are beautiful and convenient to have market and resaurants across the street
Stayed in a one-bedroom villa in October 2014 - very clean (and I am a stickler for cleanliness), very spacious (big kitchen, queen sofa bed in living room, big bed in bedroom, 2 spotless bathrooms, one with a sauna function), comfortable, and very good price. We were able to use the hot tub whatever time we liked, so could enjoy it under the stars. Would have loved to spend more time there to try the pool which looked lovely, and just to enjoy the villa.
Location: We didn't realise there was a nice restaurant/ deli right next door - so it felt like the resort was a little while from other restaurants when it took a good 15 minute walk to find 'Elmers' up the road (which was perfectly nice). However, by car it would be no time at all to get to the busier part of Palm Springs, and it was a Sunday night, so many places seemed to have closed a bit earlier.
Room size and space was great. Did not feel hotel cramped. Kitchen equipped to do what you want. Outdoor hot tub was great after hike in the Indian canyon.
Bed was not comfortable for me but couch was great for sleeping.
We're family, so I highly recommend its kitchen equipment. We had good experience staying in this hotel.
Location, condo was awesome. A real value. Would book again in a heartbeat!
I liked having a full condo with 2 full baths.
Not in the heart of downtown, but still good location
Loved the pool, the free bikes, the beautiful garden, the spacious apartment and the staff's helpfulness when we left one suitcase behind and had to have it sent on to us.
Nothing - this is a great place to stay with kids
We didn't have a go to place in Palm Spring until now. Desert Isle is beautiful, well kept, with great amenities. The pool and patio were wonderful. The afternoon refreshments were a surprisING bonus.
This place was fantastic! A little oasis in the desert!
Two pools, nice tennis courts and lovely views
Could be an idea to make one pool adult only.
This hotel was near my friends' house, so that was a major plus... but I was also able to stay in a "villa" for a great price! It was huge and had a little patio out back and was very comfortable. It also had a designated parking spot right outside. I'll definitely look to come back here!
There was only one parking spot, but it wasn't really an issue. :)
Lovely pool. Ping pong, free tennis, free bikes. The condo was spacious if somewhat out-dated. However there was everything you needed. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there is plenty of parking space.
I preferred a different resort where there was a bar beside the pool for drinks and bar food and which had more if a holiday atmosphere. Also the wifi did not stay connected so you have to sign in every time. Otherwise I have no complaints.
My boyfriend and I are a young couple and were looking to relax at a resort not too far away from the main drag of Palm Springs. The place was very quite and comfortable... a stark contrast to some other resorts of Palm Springs.
Pool and hot tub was heavily chlorinated but served its purpose.
It was so convenient for everything I needed. My view was spectacular!
The villa was very roomy, and the grounds were well kept and felt very safe. Everything was tidy, and the staff was extremely nice. Covered, reserved parking spot. Decent restaurant nearby.
The only slight bummer is the light quality. They are being eco-friendly by using fluorescent lighting, but that lighting can sometimes be a bit depressing. Minor point, though, and didn't mar our stay.
The units are nicely decorated and have a very private feel to them, makes you feel like you are at home.
Fantastic facilities at a great price, might not quite be the right place for a solo traveller like myself - was quite overkill, but would definitely bring the family back here.
Everything was great, but the staff were a bit odd and not that welcoming - seemed to expect the worst, must have had many bad guests in the past or something. Had to sign several forms about not destroying the place, was quite strange.
The villa is well kept. Out dated abit but nice.
Didn't realize your room was not serviced daily unless you paid extra. Not a big deal loads of towels in the room to last the week
Loved the mid-century feel of the place. The kitchen was well furnished and Ralph's just next door made cooking in easy. Also recommend Manhattans Deli for great breakfast and lunch.
Loved having tennis courts but they are cement and a little hard on the joints....
a spacious appartement , with lots of room in a beautiful location.
