We stayed there for a week and our room was in desperate need of a renovation. The carpet was awful and really should have been changed several years ago. There were stains everywhere on the carpet, and along one side of the bed, it was very sticky like someone had dumped syrup on it. The walls and furniture were beat up, with scratches, dents, and paint chips. The mattress was old and hard. Thankfully, we brought our own pillows so we didn't have to use the ones provided. The hotel provides free WiFi, but it is useless because the speed is so slow, it times out before it is possible to even connect.
The location was great and the public areas of the hotel were quite nice. The lobby was very nice. The pool area was also nice. The restaurant/bar area was nice and had excellent food. The free breakfast was great and had outdoor seating on a roof top deck. If our room had been renovated recently, this would have been a great hotel. Unfortunately, given the condition of the room, and the $235 rate, it was very overpriced.
