Easy in and out, close to the action.
Carpet dirty, need updating , ran out of wash clothes.
Spacious suites at very reasonable prices
Slightly off Strip requires extra walking time
It's more than we thought, we were really happy it's comfortable it's well located, quiet place. We advice this hotel.
Everything! Would recommend to families with younger or older kids. Location was perfect! Literally walking distance to strip! Grocery stores and fast food place near by on Tropicana.
Carpet needs to be clean. Beds was a little bit hard.
Location staff and accommodation were all excellent
The pool is open year round. Coffee and tea available all the time. Very clean and neat and no one comes in your room for 3 days while you are there. Some of the staff seemed bothered when asking questions to them, others were super helpful and friendly. Nice kitchens.
The terrible smell in the room. And the strange machine running in the room when we got there that said it should not be running constantly. Didn't know what this machine was.
Reasonable price and close to the strip. Full kitchen.
This not hotel - this is a timeshare! NO room service. The room was clean but "frayed around the edges".
Always a feeling of home away from home in this condo. Bed was comfy. All the dishware and paper towels provided as well as hot chocolate and coffee Cable had allot of channels and the wi fi was fast. (Good place to relax)
They told me the place will under go renovations in January. The rooms and the Lobby. Unlike most-I loved the décor with bright desert colours. I hope they don't make it look like a micro hotel or a cheaper plain look like wyndom has.
Desert Rose resort gave us the opportunity to prepare our own meals and stay comfortably with a family of 5 while still being meters from the action of Las Vegas Boulevard.
Very comfortable room, lots of space, full kitchen was great!
My room was on the road side of the property; road noise was very loud even with the windows closed and locked. Recommend staying "inside" resort.
Location and parking were great. Room fantastic. Very clean and tidyGreat heated pool and hot tub.
Happy hour isn't there anymore. Reception staff quite rude when there was a mix up with the final bill. Also didn't know about the marathon in which they closed the strip but still let me book a limo ride of the strip! Wifi didn't work in our room but was ok in reception
The location. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
The carpets were dirty. My feet and socks were black from walking on the carpet. There were no baking pans in the unit.
Quiet, clean, considerate staff. Grounds well kept up. the fact that there was no bar or slot machines make it far more enjoyable to me. Close to the airport is a plus and noise was not a problem.
We did not have a car and my husband was not getting around too well so we were limited in our ability to get food. Next time we will know to get to a grocery store. We do no that not having a restaurant kitchen helps to keep the costs down
I liked that it was close to the strip....
I was in Las Vegas for a conference and stayed at this property. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, close enough to walk to the strip but far enough away for peace and quiet. Will definitely stay there on my next trip.
Excellent pool & nice to be away from the strip.
It would have been nice to have a bar where we could sit & buy a drink.
The hotel was located very close to the Strip, but still away from all the noice! The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped.
Wifi almost never worked. There was no cleaning service during our stay, which I think should be a standard in hotels like this.
Pool staff location
For some reason, the rooms were not cleand during our all stay (3 nights)
The King Suite was huge with a separate lounge area. A full sized kitchen with dining table and flat screen tv's in each room. Very comfy bed and only a short 10 walk to the centre strip.
full size kitchen, separate bedroom, quite location - still walking distance to the Strip
I have stayed 3 times in this hotel and will stay again however it needs some refresh: new towels and bed sheets. Stained carpet could be cleaned or replaced.
the spacious and comprehensive facilities. quiet location although near by developments might change this
pool side music too loud
Small, quiet place with friendly staff. You can take the MAX bus to and from the airport for $2 each way rather than the $17 cab ride for 2 miles! You can take the local bus to the grocery store 2.8 miles away. Thrift stores not far from grocery store. Max bus just two blocks away. Hop On/Hop Off tour bus just two blocks away. Coffee shop also just two blocks away.
The room was not cleaned on my third day as promised. But I then asked for clean towels and got them right away. Betty at the front office was great!
The kitchen facilities were great. The kids enjoyed the pool.
Second stay for us at Desert Rose and the facilities are still as good as our last stay 2 years ago. Apartment is spacious for a holiday rental, kitchen is well stocked with utensils for self catering and great to be one block off the strip, makes it a little quieter but you can be on the strip with all the action in a 5 minute walk. Wifi was excellent as well.
Unfortunately the complex no longer provides breakfast which we weren't aware of this when we booked but wasn't an issue at all considering the self catering facilities.
