Hotel had charm and very clean. Smaller hotel so much more personable. The customer service was outstanding. Very well managed hotel.

Rooftop patio not open because of construction.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice spacious room, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Couldn't fault the place. Nice peaceful part of the city by the lake and a stroll away from the main city. Can't fault the place.

Attitude of reception staff - very helpful and cheerful. They changed our room and re-arranged to move luggage. Good location for Lake shore and down town Chicago. That apartment had a bath. Nice complementary coffee.

This self catering apartment was close to almost everything we wanted to see in Chicago. it was comfortable and friendly. Complimentary coffee in the lounge all day and a guest laundry room were useful extras

It is quiet, well located, in excellent neighborhood, easy to reach, helpful staff.

The location for the money, Full kitchen was a great feature. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to all modes of city travel. Would definitely stay here again!

The sofa beds need to be updated, very uncomfortable. Made due with the bathroom size, as expected for the age of the building.

Location is excellent, just a few minutes from Magnificent Mile, John Hancock Tower and within walking distance of Navy Pier. Staff were very helpful and friendly, couldnt do enough for you. Apartments very well equipped with full size fridge/freezer, cooker, micro, toaster, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, flatscreen tv, and safe in the room.

We stayed on the 6th floor and whenever we were in the corrider there was always an unpleasant smell. The bathroom was tiny and definitely needs upgrading. Shower wasnt very powerful and the bath was tiny and had no plug.

The toilet overflowed three times. I am going to make a compliant to the Chicago Health Dept. I expected some sort of a refund on the price of the room after reporting this issue to the front desk.

Great having a kitchen during a longer city break - plenty of equipment in it too. Perfect location, only blocks from the Hancock Tower and the Magnificent Mile shopping area. Staff friendly and very helpful. Free wifi in the building extremely useful when travelling overseas!

Abraham who worked in the reception was very friendly and helpful. Cute old elevator. Close to shopping, sightseeing, beaches and lots of restaurants. Bathtub in the apartment. Spacy apartment.

Terrible smell of parfume in the hallway on level six. The floor in the apartment was very slippery. The bed was hard and made a lot of noise even with the smallest of movements. Thin walls.

The staff here was wonderful, especially Genesis and David. The hotel is really guest focused and they could not do enough for you. The facilities are not fancy but they are comfortable and the location was excellent for getting around Chicago.

Room size was a bit tight for 4 adults. Elevator access had some issues.

We liked the location of this hotel and the staff were very friendly. The accommodation itself was adequate.

We were looking forward to saving a bit of money by cooking for ourselves. However, our oven didnt work! it took 2 hours to cook 2 frozen pizzas. It never heated up to the proper temp in all that time. So had to spend an additional $30 on getting delivery. Was not very happy about wasting money at the grocery store and then having to buy out anyways.

The apartment wasn't as clean as I would have liked, however it wasn't filthy.

Our writers group could not have asked for a friendlier, more accommodating staff and the rooms/kitchens and conference room met our needs perfectly. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!
