I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Well I only stayed for two nights and it was worth it. Everything went well and I was comfortable.
Checkin took very long Very noisy because of traffic Not a nice area
Free parking. Accessible by car. Newly renovated room, daily shuttles into Times Square. Breakfast
The breakfast was horrable, no place to sit and food kept running out.
Staff was friendly
I loved the staff. The guy at the from desk was an amazing host. He was very helpful to my partners and I. The hotel is very clean with comfortable rooms I enjoyed my stay there.
Only problem was the parking lot was not as free from ice as it should have been. Bad snow the day before but quite difficult to navigate. Saw a woman take a bad fall as a result.
I didn't have a car the location was far and taxi was expensive
The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok . Room is big and comfortable
the location sucked and so as shuttle bus. i would rather ride a regular bus even though i have to walk for a bit. the bus came 10 minutes late and had to drop me off because there was a smoke in a bus. some people walked to the hotel in a cold and i waited for another 10 minutes for another bus. plus the bus does not go directly to the hotel, it goes to other hotels too so it's not so fast. there were too many people in the breakfast.
facility was good and clean, and it was not so far from new york.
Hard to get to and from without the shuttle, which is an additional cost. This is especially true in winter, when the sidewalks to the location weren't completely shoveled.
Room was good, breakfast, too.
The lady wasn't gonna give me my room or my money back because I was 18 but it didn't say anything during booking that u had to be 21 n older everyone else was fine
Room smelled like smoke, bad lighting, light over desk did not work
Price and location were good
The elevators felt old but moved so fast and stopped so fast that you feel it in your stomach. I came back to hotel from finishing eating out and after being in the elevator I threw up all my food because of that elevator ride. That kind of ruined my plans, I stayed in the room for the rest of the night. Take the stairs!
It was a nice hotel. Close to the city, and 5 minutes away from shopping centers and hotels. Complimentary breakfast was awesome
We started coming here when it was a Days Inn. The bidet was a big hit with my foreign born spouse. And they are accommodating to our cat who always travels with us. The shuttle to time square is handy. The only downer was the restaurants were closed so no points there. Otherwise it's a good spot to stay on a budget see NYC use NYC etc. don't forget to ask about the 125 bus which will drop you off a block from the hotel
The bus service was miserable. The rooms were definitly not the same in the pictures and quite gross. The ppl running the bus service were just plain rude.
Website said free shuttle when we booked, but when we arrived we were informed there was a charge. Charges resulted in $100 in extra charges; $30, $40, $30.
That my quoted price was not the one I ended up paying even if you factor in taxes and fees etc. having to wait several days to rectify because accounting dept has had several days off due to holiday.
My husband and I chose this hotel based on location and reviews and the Booking.com price made it affordable. We were in town for a funeral and so had to rush out in the am without formally checking out because there was one person working the front counter and numerous people in line. So not to be late, we handed her our door key card and left. Later, my husband informed me were were charged more than our quoted price. When I called to inquire, I was told I couldnt get a receipt or resolution until next day as all managers and accounting off for holiday. Otherwise, it was perfect for what we needed. Clean rooms with pockets of thick dust here and there. Bathrooms spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful and room was quiet enough. Very long truck but ample free parking
Needed more outlets and an extra blanket or comforter. I did not likethe fluoresent llighting.
The staff was excellent and allowed us to check in early. That was fabulous
The shuttle service usually runs late. Just be patient. It's a convenient service to have and they give you a cell phone number that you can call to find out how much longer it will be.
We were first time travelers to NYC. This hotel was affordable, and it offers shuttle services to and from Manhattan at 41st & Broadway almost hourly. The shuttle picks you up and drops you off right in front of the hotel. Only $14 round trip. You purchase the shuttle ticket in the little lobby store and let them know what pickup time you'd like from the times offered. Latest pickup time from the city is 11pm.
Could have used more pillows on bed.
The biggest deficit of this hotel is that it looks and feels run down. Rugs and walls look dirty and you wonder if they wash sheets after every guest. And their staff need a course of how to treat guests, or take a Xanax to cheer up. I will look for other options next time.
The best aspect of this place is its price relative to its location. Its close to NYC but, unless you can take their paid transportation to and from town, its on the wrong side of the highway to get there by public transportation.
WiFi is a little slow my husband is a sports fan so he like the television channels Alot because there's a lot of them as far as regular channel goes they could get a little more.
When you first walk in the door the friendliness of the front desk staff is absolutely amazing. When I walked into my room I felt at home it was neat and clean. Room was nice updated and modern. You have the convenience of never having to leave the hotel if you just want to relax as there is a diner / cafe downstairs that serves breakfast and lunch as well as a restaurant upstairs that serves dinner and drinks. the restaurant upstairs is absolutely amazing the food is good the drinks even better and the staff surprisingly enough is absolutely sweet and easy to talk to. From the bartender to the manager they give you a great relaxed environment to just chill and have a drink.
I did not select smoking area during my reservation at booking.com. Maybe it was automatic selected online. But the staff did not asked us if we needed smoking area or not. We have two elderly people and one have asthma. She is still feeling sick and I could not sleep because I have sinus infection.
bath rooms needs to be more spacious
1. Nearlly all the equipments are too old. One of the elevator was suddenly halted with a large noise on 10th floor's high, and the door open after 1 minute, that's really horrible. 2. Not quite tide, one spider net has been found on the bathroom's door. 3. The door has no sound-proof at all. 4. the surronding is terrible: traffic noise, dirty, mess, and nearly no any store and restaurant nearby.
1. Price is good for living in NY area 2. Bed is good 3. Wifi is fast enough 4. Parking is free and parking area is big 5. Shuttle bus is good.
The roads to the hotel were confusing.
We went to the Giants game, MetLife stadium is 10 mins away, so very convenient.
