Located on a white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico, this resort is 23 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport. It offers 2 on-site restaurants and a tiki bar.

Excellent stay overall, perfect beach location. Food not amazing but still good.
Your Chef's are far above average, as we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had at your resort. The amount of activities offered were awesome.
Slow maid service or no maid service that was our choices, not good.
Free bike usage
Our one bedroom apartment had a large balcony with a nice view over the beach and the ocean. Nicely furnished.
Kitchen equipped only with a microwave - no real cooking possible.
Ocean view from even from the poolside. Cloe restaurant good food for a Nice price
Right on the beach, clean, great food, nice size pool-warm and two jacuzzis. Large suites with very large bed, pullout sofa and kitchenette. They have water coolers stationed outside around the grounds for you. Very friendly staff. Very close to town. Loved it
The ONLY reason I didn't give this resort and "excellent" was because it's not a 5 star resort like you find in Playa del Carma...but wonderful for the United States!
location was good ,close to the shops and restaurants ,our room was excellent
the add ons the $50 late checkout , $ 16 resort fee the first room we got was on the 3rd floor not nice, they moved us to the 5th floor ,much nicer upgraded room ,breakfast bar everything was new ,still noisy from the pool directly below
Poor movie channels on the cable.
We told them it was our honeymoon and they gave us a wonderful room
Austin and David were our bellmen. They were great.
You could not sit out on your balcony without hearing 5 huge air conditioners go all the time. We could not use the pool ever because it was over loaded constantly. The handicap room did not have a proper shower. There really was no kitchen. My husband likes to fish and he didn't because we could not cook the fish. The food was terrible at the restaurant. My tablet kept reverting to my Verizon 4G because there way over priced internet that we were forced to buy kept going off. It was not a good value for the money. Way over priced. I would NEVER stay there again.
Love the newly decorated unit & the view.
Small thing, but the Chloe's would be a wonderful place if it had the view the rooms do. Should be on the top floor with the best view in SW FL.
The balcony was screened in...huge disappointment! Plus the people below me kept me up at 2 am playing loud music and partying loudly...and then woke me up at 6am partying...
Fort Myers Beach is beautiful and Diamondhead is the perfect place to see it. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. We felt welcome. The room was very comfortable with a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The Kitchenette was nice and the living room was comfortable. The balcony was our favorite room. It was large, screened so there were no bugs, a table with 4 chairs and two lounge chairs so you could watch the Gulf of Mexico. I do not think there are any "bad" views from Diamondhead Resort, just a little different. No rooms face the street, all face the Gulf.
Direct beach access; Fantastic beach; Friendly staff; View from room on 12th floor.
Tight room for 4 people; Bed-sofa narrow and not very comfortable.
The location is excellent and the pool AREA and beach front are nice. Overall the resort is well maintained and clean.
The first morning I was woken to slamming of doors and people yelling in the hall at around 8 am. This continued to happen every morning of our stay as i soon realized that this inconsiderate behavior was not coming from other guests, rather the hotel cleaning staff. Every morning they would talk (yell) to each other from one end of the hall to the other as they went about their work. Opening supply closets letting the doors slam laughing and carrying on. So i decided perhaps to take my coffee out on the lanai in search of some peace and promptly at 8am the leaf blowers started right beneath us and continued on for a good hour. By day five I was MORE than ready to get back home to sub zero temperatures just to have a quiet peaceful morning.
Great beach location
Ants in first room, they upgraded us for free for the remainder of our stay
Room didn't get cleaned but twice the whole week, some of building looked out dated, no available cots, but when I booked it stated I would be able to get a cot for additional charge, and it was way over priced for the quality
Large suites/rooms. Excellent loction.
the hotel views were spectacular. the staff was very friendly and very helpful.
I did not like being pestered continuously about taking a tour of the facility even while on the beach walking for exercise.
Pool was nice
Way over priced ! Then they charge u for amenities per day on top of it simply ridiculous. Also wanted my eggs over easy but weren't part of the special so had to have them scrambled! Seriously? That's not good service especially at $450 a nite!
Our first room the view was that of the air conditioning units, TV dish and the garbage bins. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade and we declined. I felt the price we were paying was on the upper scale and didn't want to pay more at this time. I would not have thought anything about it, if it were not for the person in front of me at the front desk did not like her view - and they offered an upgrade --- and the person behind me did not like the view - and they again offered the upgrade. I feel this was a common practice. We were moved to a different floor and enjoyed the view much more. I also would like to have had the outside restaurant/bar stay open longer than 8:00. We like to stay on the beach as long as possible and then get cleaned up for dinner and it would have been nice if this would have been a possibility.
Great location with excellent poolside service. Clean rooms
Loved the location, the beautiful room, pool, tiki bar, restaurants, friendly staff, early availability of our room. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The price was a bit high. Could not get in the hot tub during our stay because the temperature of the water was too high. To the point of almost scalding.
on the beach and pool side bar
cost very high asked if I came back next year for a two week stay would it be cheaper, they said no. For the price I felt it wasn't worth it.
Everything was OK and I enjoyed myself
The front staff was NOT well educated about restaurants around the area. EX. that Bayfront Bietro ONLY took reservations for dinner, so when we got there(after a cab ride) we had to wait over an hour for a table.
