It was a nice room. Like how it looked, pretty secluded. Nice part close to Union Square we've never been in before. It was great.
There was a couple flaws, The air conditioner box was either working or coming on, and no hangers at all in the closet.
This hotel had such an amazing feel to it. We enjoyed our stay at Diva Hotel.
The internet works great, the bed was comfortable, the staff was really helpful.
The room is small, there are no hangers for clothes. Although the hotel seems modern, the building is clearly old.
Location, location, location
Getting to it on Black Friday. Give yourself extra time. Lots of crowds.
Very good position.
The room was small and with an unusable window. The valet service is slow and expensive. The toilet was very small and in need of maintenance.
Great hotel perfect location awesome hotel staff
The worst hotel I have ever stayed.I left one of my case in the bathroom which has all of my make up stuff in it. And I checked out. In the afternoon, I tried to call the staff in this hotel, they just told me there is nothing. And they still claimed they found nothing without checking the room again even thought I asked them to.
Staff was excellent!
Tight spaces in room and bathroom
The location is convenient.
The windows in our room cannot block the noise from outside. Especially in weekends, too many people speak loudly on the street (after 11pm). I suggest you should use anti-noise windows. Thanks.
Hotel that is well situated and quiet. Staff helpful and well-informed. Room small in size but comfortable and clean. Decoration imaginative.
Only one lift (of two) working over the entire week. Do it yourself business suite. Expensive for a hotel without a bar or its own restaurant.
Good clean rooms and friendly staff. Very central location. Safe in the room.
Hairdryer didn't work in the bathroom area so had to be plugged in on the floor near the door. A little noisy outside, but can be expected. Parking is expensive.
The bed was comfortable
Not enough space
Decor was very fun and sexy. Half naked babes on the window shades... woohoo! Cutting edge lighting and wall treatments, plenty of pillows and a mini fridge in the room. Convenient location close to several exciting venues. Easy walk to Union Square and cable cars. Starbucks connected to the lobby!
One elevator out of service and the other was slow. Valet parking says 30 minute car retrieval....figure an hour. Almost missed 2 events just waiting. Valet had spilled a beverage all over the floor of the car but said nothing. Found out on the drive home the floor was soaking wet. Very unhappy with that. Advertises $40 per night for parking but was charged $45 with no apology or explanation.
We've been bringing family for thanksgiving weekend for 4 years now and love the hotel diva, it's staff, the rooms and the location. Nice touches in lobby like Sake and hot tea on the 7th floor lounge.
I liked the character of the hotel. The decor was really well done, and makes the hotel stand out from the big brands. The staff were very friendly, and approachable. The location is superb, minutes walk from Union Square.
One of the elevators wasn't working, which made for an occasional lengthy wait for the working one. Not a big issue for me though.
Only one slow elevator working (and they have the other off to save energy the entire year), bad room service, not so clean, bad rooms with no view (small window with a interior view), strange bathroom with bad choices of materials and strange aromas inside the hotel (from probably some strange customers).
Great location, fantastic, helpful staff. Door to Starbucks.
Tiny bathroom (although it did everything one needs it to do)!
Setting staff convenience
Staff was very nice, great location, bed was comfy and the free WiFi was perfect. Really appreciated the special mirror and light for make up.
The room itself was small but I was given the option to upgrade for $25 more which I declined. Small rooms in sf are common. The room could have used a little fresh paint and a new bathroom mirror. Was pleased to see the windows open for fresh air but let in small flys (just one or two) which was a bummer. Over all I feel the pictures lead on as a newer designed room but it felt old. Still not a huge deal. don't think I would stay here again.
Friendly staff Wonderful location - very central
Very helpful stuff centrally located Good house keeping, clean room
The room was not as nice as it looked in the picture and relatively small. Quite expensive for such a room (although to be fair everything is expensive in the center of SF). One of the two elevators was out of order for the entire week I stayed there. The remaining elevator was not enough to accommodate all guests and personnel, you would have to wait up to 10 mins to catch the elevator. Ended up taking the stairs to 4th floor most of the time.
good spot, great location I got a room on the inside, no view but quiet Would stay here again.
gym was very small, not bad as it had several cardio machines but really only room for one or two to lift at the same time.
Central Location, but not in a good neighberhood in SF. Friendly and helpful staff.
Worn out rooms, very thin walls, noise coming from the street, small spaces, too expensive for what it offers.
Great location for getting around the city without a car. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Quick shuttle ride to and from the airport available. Bed was very comfortable and the room had ac. People complain about the size of the rooms but it was fine. If you have ever traveled in Europe these rooms feel plenty big. If you are used to a large room with a siting area and a huge bathroom these rooms will feel small to you. We asked for a quiet room and had no issues with street noise and we are light sleepers. Room had a safe.
Sfo is very expensive in general. Some of the decore needed replacing from wear. Didn't like the shower but not a big deal when you are there to see the city.
Easy access to all of the City, comfortable bed, quiet.
Bathroom tub floor creaked and gave way underfoot. Heating system erratic.
