Art throughout the hotel is lovely. I liked tea service especially the spa water. It's a bit noisy but bearable. I also liked that it was a walk up and had an elevator though there seemed to be problems with the elevator. I loved the accessibility of the stairs. Liked the separate sink and fridge in room.
The street noise almost made me move rooms. Room was attractive but not fully functional. Not enough accessible plugs. Bathroom vanity only really had space below and I have a bad back it wasn't good to have to bend to reach everything. One of the plugs on desk didn't work. Lighting was insufficient.
No shelf to put things on in the bathroom
location friendly staff unique rooms…. clean, large
a lot of noise from outside and hallway
It was Cute and Cozy with enough space for 3 people. The Bed was nice the TV was easy to use and the extra sink came in handy!
Small full bath, the noise outside during the night was to much to handle.
The location was so perfect for holiday activities in SF. We happened to arrive during SantaCon! Our friends were also staying and our request for being on the same floor was readily fulfilled.
The photo images on the shades are weird--a small quibble, but you asked.
Beautiful and very clean bedroom (the forniture are new and fashion) but it's a bit small. The position it's great because it's one block from union square and there are a lot of restaurant and shops near by. Very useful the water/ice dispencer in the hallway.
Our window was broken and cold air came in, it was very, very cold and the heating was not enough (the air wasn't hot, just warm). Too noisy. The shower handle was broken and it was not easy to turn it on. We reported all to the staff who told us they will take care of the problems. We stayed here for Christmas and only for 3 nights, there were always to many people at the reception so we kept the room like it was.
Comfortable bed Helpful staff Great location
Vanity for the bathroom was in the bedroom with little space on the bench.
Bathroom was cramped Room was old Hotel was in an unsafe location Walls were not sound proof, hotel was extremely noisy and not conducive for sleep
Bed super comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was tight but had all you needed and was quiet.
Room was a bit dark even with all lights on.
The Front Desk, the hotel the comfort and character of the hotel and room was excellent.
Wall in bathroom was little dirty think spots on bathroom wall was missed by House cleaning.
The hotel is near to Powell Station and Union Square. The staffs are friendly and helpful! The room is comfort and clean. Moreover, hotel also offers printing service for free. I am very satisfy with this hotel !
Peter is an amazing concierge-- He makes every guest feel like he is their own personal assistant! And this very cool hotel is just one block from Union Square, two blocks from Chinatown, and walking distance to Japantown.
Friendly staff, closeness to all central activites & price
Noise from street
The staff was okay - nothing special, the interior is modern and really nice. The rooms are fully equipped and clean! The bed was okay, could've been better. Ice machines are good points. There was a small fridge, and that was great too!
One of the elevators wasn't working when we were staying so we would wait for an elevator for like 5 minutes. The valet service was catastrophic, they were obviously playing with the radio or something so the battery died and we couldn't turn on our car! They switched all of our radio stations, so we paid 45$ for parking a day for horrible service!
Location Friendly Staff Booking.com room rate Free wifi Eclecticism
Location (questionable) - tons of transients Parking (valet) - $45/day No room service (booked on a holiday) Elevators - one was inoperable, the other moved at a snails pace. Compelled to take the stairs (up and down 3 flights) Small rooms No USB ports - should you forget to pack your chargers, there's slim to no chance of charging your mobiles. Hollow walls - neighbor's can be heard from every angle No view (unless you're into staring at bricked walls) Subpar Housekeeping - Hair around lid of commode
excellent location, they let you keep your car in valet until 3 pm on date of departure, spacious room, quiet
one of the elevators was down, which was kind of a drag
It was a nice room. Like how it looked, pretty secluded. Nice part close to Union Square we've never been in before. It was great.
There was a couple flaws, The air conditioner box was either working or coming on, and no hangers at all in the closet.
This hotel had such an amazing feel to it. We enjoyed our stay at Diva Hotel.
The internet works great, the bed was comfortable, the staff was really helpful.
The room is small, there are no hangers for clothes. Although the hotel seems modern, the building is clearly old.
Location, location, location
Getting to it on Black Friday. Give yourself extra time. Lots of crowds.
Very good position.
The room was small and with an unusable window. The valet service is slow and expensive. The toilet was very small and in need of maintenance.
Great hotel perfect location awesome hotel staff
The worst hotel I have ever stayed.I left one of my case in the bathroom which has all of my make up stuff in it. And I checked out. In the afternoon, I tried to call the staff in this hotel, they just told me there is nothing. And they still claimed they found nothing without checking the room again even thought I asked them to.
Staff was excellent!
