We booked a room with two double beds, then got 'ugraded' to a larger room with a really terrible foldout and a good bed. So we got 'upgraded' again to a room with two good beds and a bathroom so small you could barely turn around in. NOt goo value for money in my view.
The beds were big and comfy and for a small room you didn't feel cramped. And the staff was very friendly.
The hotel Diva was an amazing hotel from the moment we checked in to the moment we sadly had to leave. The staff on reception went above and beyond their jobs to help us and advise us and to make us feel welcome. The rooms were very well decorated and stylish. They were well cleaned and furnished. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The rooms are tired and the door had a huge gap on two sides so expect to get noise interference.
Very good location for quick in and out and central next to Union Square
I loved the trendy room decor AND COMFY bed. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming.
too much noise
Our only frustration was that our key cards had to be rescanned 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. We went to our room and they wouldn't work so we had to go back to the front desk. They were very nice about it but it was a little aggravating.
Cleanliness and friendly staff.
Filter water fountain
Not much personality for a Personality hotel. The diva gimmick is really pretty stupid and adds absolutely nothing of value. Sound isolation is pretty poor.
Clean. Central location.
Drainage of the shower. Need to unclog it big time.
It was super comfortable! I literally sank in my bed every time! Location is spot on as well.
No breakfast Bathrooms Bed was uncomfortable
Lift is a bit slow
Location, decor and size of suite
Old lift Very dark corridor
The halls of the hotel did not smell pleasant.
Staff very pleasant and friendly.
The design & comfort
TV was held on to wall hanger by a man's belt. Holes in the wall. Electrical sockets were not all working. Hole behind TV with exposed wires.
The staff were kind and very knowledgeable and helpful at every item we ask.
The real appearance of the rooms is quite far from the pictures they post which was a major disappointment
Location close to Union Sq with so many good cafes nearby, very positive and helpful staff
The room was not worth the price I paid. I've stayed at luxury hotels from Vegas to Baltimore, and this was far from a great deal. The room was very small and the tv reception was horrid. I would not stay again.
Parking was easy and the staff was amazingly nice. The location was perfect.
Room need more sound proofing
Close to union sqaure
Overall good experience. Room was small. I asked for quiet room which meant one tucked into a corner of the hotel. Although pet friendly the small room gave my dog little room to stretch out (she is a medium 40b dog). Situated on a one way street with lots of big construction nearby the only option appeared to be the $40/night valet parking- wish I had checked out other options since that did offset the competitive price of the room.
Location was great. Close to Union Square. SoMa easily walkable. Easy to find driving into town. Staff was very nice, courteous and informative. WiFi was easy to set up and worked well.
The whole San Fransisco scene the food music and people.
I don't like the colors or the décor at all. It's very grey and black in the room, and the blinds are weird -- a picture of a woman's middle in a corset, and another a picture of thigh high boots. No gym. And aaaawwwful service on the phone before I arrived. My call got bounced around everywhere and the people answering the phone were almost disdainful of my question. Just FYI, the designer lounges were NOT busy at all during my 1 week stay, despite a big convention going on that week. The staff wouldn't tell me how often they were frequented, and wanted to get me to pay to book it. No need, they were empty. And in any case, that was impossible to do over the phone because no one cared at all about my question.
The hotel is well located near Union Square. It was comfortable / clean enough. I ordered a couple of packages and they arrived safely to me. On-site staff is nice.
The TV was old and static-laden.
I loved the modern motif of the hotel.
I paid $125.55 in the middle of winter through booking, but without notifying me the hotel then charged me $7.61, I didn't use anything - there was no minibar, never received an explanation for this charge so that's the last time I'll stay there, and I travel to SF often.
Location is quite good and a decent value for the money.
