The shower/toilet area was VERY small.
Staff, cleanliness, location and wifi.
It's expensive as the others in same region, there is any kind of sign "do not disturb" for the clean workers, very very small fridge.
Very comfortable beds in an excellent location to explore downtown.
Lack of real milk/cream - they had good coffee making facilities but that awful powdered milk.
stuff interior (beautiful design)
would be nice to have lounge at the lobby
- Awesome rooms! - Close to Centre - Friendly Staff - Great business room!
Everyone was helpful and courteous. Room was very clean.
Hotel overall had a bit more wear and tear/aged looked than when I stayed there 6 years before. It was a bit dark. Could use some updating so the decor feels fresh again.
Lack of light Dark interiors No counter space in bathroom Flimsy locks Air conditioner runs constantly once turned on
Cramped rooms. Strange decor.
The hotel is good in general
It is expensive, but SF is expensive too...
Location , design
Poor space in the room with two small Kids, altough we had booked a Suite. Sofa bed for kids with poor sleeping comfort
The staff should be more friendly with the customers
Great bed Amazing big bathroom Great Location Super friendly staff
location, design of the rooms
wanted two beds, did not get a room with two without buying an upgrade
The rooms were very clean, the hotel staff very nice and helpful. It was around my girlfriend's birthday that we stayed there, and so I wanted to find and have flowers delivered to our hotel room. One of the staff personally showed me and accompanied me to a flower shop nearby which I thought was more than nice! The Starbucks which has a direct entry from the hotel is super handy.
The location of the hotel might not be for everybody. It's at the edge of Tenderloin, as we later learned, near Union Square/Market St. Most of the time we felt pretty comfortable though.
Location was great for shopping at Union Square. The negative issue was the street people approaching you as you were trying to load and unload your car. Loved Starbucks being in the lobby!!! Room Service ?
The street people but the Hotel can't control that!
The room was nicely decorated and had a nice atmosphere to it. The hotel is in a great location near Union Square. Friendly staff. Great Value.
Room was smaller than average. Elevator is tiny and feels like it's going to break.
Loved the friendly, helpful staff.. Exceptional service... I have stayed in many hotels around the world and was very impressed with the service. They made you feel comfortable and welcomed. Rooms were clean, comfy and quiet!
Location, Bed/Bedding and Drapes
Room was too small and was not what appeared on the pictures provided at the time of booking (booking.com). Also, the bathroom was incredibly small.
the location is great, on the powell st that is close to union square. and free wifi. the receiption is very nice.
Hotel is tired and smelled tired too. Facilities were ok, needed updating. Room was tired, as was linen and bathroom/bath overflow not good. I was afraid to put my feet on the floor of my room as the floor was sticky and wet in places. Not v nice. I think a hotel past it's best and needs reinvestment. Service is quite immature. Didn't like how I was fully charged my room for 2 nights up front, gave no recourse. Unusual to be charged up front for 2 night stay. Almost made it impossible for me to complain, which is possibly why they do it. I think hotel is expensive for the offering. Best thing about it is location. Everything else is barely average.
The bed was pretty comfortable, and we liked the cool look of the place. Very great location for us.
The hotel staff was unwelcoming and a bit rude when we arrived. The rooms were a bit tiny, and felt a bit sterile (there was no color on the walls, just a square gray room).
Staff was fun and took care of all our needs. Restaurants close at hand coffee next door and shuddle to air port next door too. Loved the decor. Would love to have a street view next time and will be back. Bye
Overall a great stay
Love the location and the staff, who always seemed genuinely eager to help in any way they could. The decor and style of the hotel is very modern, sexy, and has lots of personality.
Walls are a bit thin. Could hear people in the hallways easily. Room (415) is compact but comfortable.
The room was very nice and comfy. I enjoyed my stay at hotel Diva.
The elevators were slow.
