i love that they are so close to the ocean, and they have bar and restaurant and you can order breakfast, launch or dinner if you don't feel like going out staff was great

Pretty much everything was great.

Given the date, a later checkout would have been nice. I understand policy, which we have at our resort, but when we have the vacancy, we can stretch a little. I wish they would have.

The bartending staff were not friendly and very short with their customers

Great value! The pool, beach, lobby, and restaurant areas were comfortable and enjoyable. Actually, the heated pool, and the beach sand and water were both excellent! The Wi-Fi service provided was excellent and appreciated. The local strip mall across the street was convenient. The refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot (with coffee) were a plus. We definitely plan on returning ... perhaps as a regular escape and get-away from everyday toils and stress.

Wish we had more towels. A daily bath and dip in the pool or gulf daily quickly depleted the ones provided daily. It would have been nice if there were more restaurants nearby within walking distance. It would have been nice if my wife and I cvould have swam in the pool in the evenings. It was my understanding that the pool was closed at dusk. I wish each room had a 'wt area' where wet towels and bathing suits could be hung rather than all over the bathroom area. Not sure how to do that. Providing a few dryers in a laundry area for the quests use would be good. I didn't like the grounds keepers cleaning the pool area in the mornings when we were eating breakfast at the outside tables. The noise was unpleasant. The solution? ... use brooms to sweep the walkways in that area instead of the high powered blowers. It is not a big area and coule be done just as quickly with brooms.

we have visited the dolphin about four times,theres nothing that stands out but there is a nice atmospere and each time we visit florida the dolphin is always on the list of places to stay. we will be back again!!

I loved that there was a lot to do right there at the hotel. Pool, shuffle board, parasail, cabanas, restaurants. Room was nice.

Prices could have been a bit cheaper for the value.

Inconsistency between day and pm staff. PM said late check out ok day said no. 2nd car parking charge and no charge. Breakfast should be included when you pay over $300 a night!!

The water in bathroom did not get warm enough for hot bathes.

Liked the view and location. Nearby restaurants. Outdoor bar and pool. The beach area was well kept. Great place for walking on the beach.

Restaurant food was not good. Night staff at restaurant were not friendly. Facility was way overpriced for the amenities. No exercise facility, no business room or facility. The rooms were like an old Holiday Inn.

Perfect location, right on the beach. Nice pool area and beach bar. Room itself was good, shower and bathroom a little outdated. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Expensive, but guessing you're paying for location. Restaurant and beach bar staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good and not expensive. Would stay again.

Hotel did not have a business center, so no pc and printer available to print out boarding passes when leaving. One evening, our room was not cleaned and ready until 6:00pm, asked hotel to compensate with a free glass of wine and front desk said no. Friends visiting us had to pay for parking ($20) as hotel had only guest parking policy which didn't make sense as they had an open to the public restaurant. Front desk staff not so friendly.

Great location with beach side view. They resort moved our room to one with a balcony for no charge which was great!

The Dolphin is in drastic need of an interior update. It was way too 1970s. Everything from the rainbow vynel lobby to the employee uniforms. Bed spreads etc

The location is wonderful as there is access to everything you need. Our kids (6 and 4) loved the pool which was warm and only 3 ft deep on the one side.

We thought our room smelled like smoke.

You can't beat the location. The staff were excellent. Walking distance to lots of stores and restaurants.

For the price the room was very tired looking. The bathroom hasn't been updated since the 80's. The restaurants service was very slow, even when it wasn't busy.

View from room was lovely...and the room decor was nice and felt clean.

The air conditioner was extremely loud....not sure how to correct it.

Loud AC unit in room, every time it came on it wakes you up! did not get much sleep that night!

The location on the beach is great. The pool is nice and warm. We could watch Dolphins from the beach.

The afternoon front desk was a tad crabby & there was No Hot Water for my stay! Warm water does not count! Turn up the heat on the hot water heater please!

Ask for broom to sweep balcony, told they did not have one. They got it sweeped by maid, several hours later.

Great location directly on the beautiful beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed there during low season, and it was so peaceful and calm, we enjoyed the stay very much!
