The location to where I needed to be. Too much. There was no one at the desk when I arrived in the afternoon. The guy that checked me in was surprised I had a reservation. The place looks clean but when you really look its in bad shape. Old carpets, the room I was in had a broken bed base. The sheets were dirty. The bed cover had cigarette holes. The carpets smelled very bad. The hotel states theres no smoking allowed but the whole placed smelled like Cigarettes. The bathroom was decent. The outlets seemed to be burned out and a fire hazard. The fridge they had in my room smelled very bad. I ended buying a cooler instead. The microwave was dirty. The chairs were stained and smelled. The area is pretty bad. You have transients outside causing problems. I'm from la and I've been in bad hotels but this place took the cake.

Location was close to the beach. This place was very run down and dirty, none of the doors were locked so anyone could walk in at anytime. My room door was barely locked, someone could have pushed it open. The staff was very unprofessional, drinking alcohol in the lobby with friends. The room itself was disgusting and there was no hot water whatsoever. Wi-fi was a joke, it took me 2 hours to be able to get on the internet. Found out afterwards that this place is known for murders, prostitutes and police raids. Not a safe or suitable place for anyone to stay....very very disappointed and will never go back.

Very attentive staff and a great spot. Interesting, retro fitted room with a bit of a view. Close to the beach, cafes and nightlife. Neil the owner is very acommodating. May have been a few problems with the heater.

Excellently and convenientally locatted in Oceanside, California with just a short walking distance from the Oceanside Transit Center (including services from Metrolink Trains, North County Transit District's Coaster Trains, Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner Trains, and of course the NCTD (Light-Rail) Sprinter. It even has a Cox Cable-Ready [ZENITH] Color TV with its Standard-Definition Cable Channel's Picture Quality. I love them! The leaky faucet in the shower along with the damped towels that needs to be washed and clean on my next/future visit at the Dolphin Hotel in Oceanside, California.

Man darf hier keinen Luxus erwarten. Man bezahlt halt für die Strandlage mit. Keine Eismaschine/ kein Safe!

Nothing. I booked thru Priceline for armada hotel. But ramada got overbooked and could not honor my reservation. After spending 3 hrs arguing with ramada, at 12 midnight. I have. I other option than this sick hotel, where nothing worked. Tv, fridge, microwave nothing works. I could not sleep as it was a horrible room. Full of cigarette smell, even though it was a non- smoking room. Never ever visit again or suggest to anyone

Unfortunately our experience was a bad one. First they charged us $50 more for the room than initially expected. They told us they were going to give us the best room they had that they had just finished renovating, when we got to our room it was smelly, dark and dingy, half painted, the bed spreads were full of cigarrett burnt marks, the batroom was the worst you couldnt go in there because the toilet bowl was so close to the sink u had to sit sideways and the door did not close you had to strech to hold it closed with your hand. Then after an hour being there the light bulb burned out so we had to use the bathroom light. We got there at 8pm we left at 12am because our two boys were scared ti be there. It was a vad neighborhood there were people drinking outside and when my husvand and son went to get some food they saw the owner drinking in the front lobby with some guests. All in all a very bad ecperience.

The staff was very kind, they gave us a discount for the breakfast in a café just in front of the hotel, and they also kept our luggages until the next afternoon without charging anything. The hotel is located in Oceanside, 40 minutes away from San Diego, but next to the local beach. Anyway the price was adequate. The rooms are quite small, as well as the bathrooms, and they look quite old, but the hotel is fine.
