beautiful bathroom, lovely thick white towels, well-stocked mini fridge There was only two uncomfortable cushions on the bed, and it was a very very noisy room right next to the service staff room. Even agter I complained about this, the slamming of doors every 5 minutes continued well into the night. I was extremely tired after a long flight and needed to rest. I indicated this to the staff when I booked into the hotel. I was also not allowed to have a drink at the rooftop swimming pool, and this was the main reason for picking this hotel. I was very disappointed with the staff's inability to accommodate my simple requests. |

Elegant and well-thought design, large rooms, wonderful staff. Excellent restaurant. Small gym. WiFi for a charge -- so 20th century. |

Good situation, nice staff, beautiful rooms. The hotel has a lot of design features which are beautiful but not always very practical. Ex: When someone uses the bathroom during the night, as the wall is half transparent the room is full of light and wakes up other person sharing the room. There were no plugs in the bathroom and the floor of shower is very slippery. |

Good restaurants in the area, easy access to public transportation, short ride to BWI and Regan airports, modern hotel rooms with excellent restaurant on site, and minutes from museums, Capital and White House. Did not like the room rate changing every day. We booked at one price and the rates were never the same for the nine nights. |

Comfortable rooms, reasonably central location, friendly staff, contrary to some reviews I found the bed very comfortable (certainly not too hard),quiet and the restaurant was very good. There was a charge for wireless internet (which should be included for a hotel of this grade) and the speeds were frustratingly slow at various times of the day. My taxi booking back to the airport which the hotel was meant to have arranged did not appear. Closing the pool at 5pm seemed a strange thing to do! |

Great value at great price. Complete services. Everything seemed new and is modern styled. The personel was helpfull and very polite. But if your looking a warm service, this is not the place. Small room. |

I think you should know the hotel charged me for my stay directly. When i checked out I had to pay. The clerk behind the desk said something weird like booking only holds the reservation when i explained to them i booked on line through Booking.com. I figured they must pay you a commission, i just dont want to be charged twice! Doug |

Did not provide the appropriate room that was advertised - surly service equating to not conceding this at the outset - our room was clearly not a deluxe room - guidance on length of windows and bathroom did not match up Lying about room categories is unacceptable- hotel also conceded that they had overbooked certain room categories - and other people had been placed in a better room than they had booked - meaning we were placed in a worse one |

the hotel was excellent, and the service was brilliant. I've been traveling the last month and that was by far the best service I've experienced. I was greeted with a hello every time i entered, and other staff started small conversation at any point they could. The room was great too, everything new and in perfect order. |

It was conveniently located near the downtown area. I thought the rooms were really small and the mattresses really hard. |

The room was exquisitely appointed and very stylish and sophisticated. The staff was amazingly attentive and friendly. The hotel is close to Starbucks and another cool breakfast/lunch place called the Brown Bag - made to order omelets, sandwiches, etc. We could also walk to the theater, Verizon Center, and fine dining. Just what we wanted for a romantic date night in the heart of DC! |
