Rooms were funky...staff very good at pointing you in direction of good bars..Hotel is only 4/5 blocks from White House so is close to the action without being too close for crazily high prices (if that makes sense!). Also hotel tv has Setanta Sports so could keep in touch with the football at home. (Obviously the wife loved that!)

Unfortunately, restaurant and bar were being redecorated so no joy there. Lifts could be quote slow too if I had to be very picky!

Central location

no bar or restaurant facility. Very expensive telephone and other services. 400US$ for 1.5 hour room

Loved the decor - hotel staff always very helpful

No ice machine - staff filled ice bucket in the evenings - but ice was delivered when requested. No top sheet on bed - but when we requested one it was provided.

The style, the staff, the overall comfort - I slept really well - which is unusual. It is a cool hotel that does not give up comfort for style.

The works in the restaurant, made working in the room that day really difficult.

Staff is great and apparently really like working there. Love the contemporary Europeon decore

Beds are nice and firm, but so firm that they cause shoulder and hip pain if you stay longer than 1 night. Suggest a 3" memory foan or feather topper to ease the pain.

I liked almost everything about the hotel and have already stopped there a second time.
