- The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. - Our room was beautiful and very clean. - It was in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere. - Loved the complementary wine hour and free drink vouchers. - Beautiful view of the city from the rooftop bar. - Front desk upgraded our room for free. - The room was really bright in the morning; we weren't able to sleep in past 9 AM.

The staff was great! They gave us vouchers for drinks since we arrived after the wine happy hour. They were speedy when we needed supplies. The bar tender at the restaurant was super friendly. And the hostess got us in right away on Saturday night even though we didn't have reservations. We arrived 3 minutes after 6 and was told the wine happy hour has ended. I thought that was rather strict.

The hotel is nicely located, quiet clean and stylish. The parking is a bit too expensive. $42 a night. During check-in, when asked one of the front desk ladies about parking alternatives in the area, we got a "I really have no idea - but everything around here is more or less the same price" reply... She did not seem to even try and assist, nor did she tried to ask a colleague for advice. I was not surprised to later find an alternative parking, a block and a half away in an adjacent building for less than 1/3 the price charged by the hotel. I would normally pay any amount for the convenience of on site parking, but after driving to DC from New York city, paying a total of $55 for gas and a total of $69 for tolls, I was hoping to at least save a little on parking.

The staff wass excellent and helpful. The lighting in the room was too low key for taking out and putting in contacts. It would ahve been nice to have a chair in the room and 2 more pillows.

Good location, can walk every where. Modern design with an excellent restaurant. While the shower design was very interesting, it made the room too small. If one person sat at the desk, the other person could not get by to visit the bathroom.

The location and view from my room in particular was not good (ie no privacy, i could see through other hotel guest's rooms and i'm sure they could see through mine). It's worthwhile asking for a room with a good view (of M street or the circle)
