We were travelling back from overseas, just arriving to USA after several years away. The staff were particularly supportive and helpful over the 2 days we were at the hotel. Great service from the shuttle drivers as well as from Alex at the front desk. Sure made everything easy. The bathtub seemed quite small for such a nice room. The overall bathroom features appeared a bit dated, I suppose as well as the overall feel of the room being just a bit dated. Otherwise all was very comfortable and very clean.

The food in the restaurant is terrible as was the service in the bar. Perhaps this was an off night but when we complained the bartender just shrugged his shoulders. Management made no effort to remedy the issue so my overall opinion of this hotel will be greatly diminished. I think when you bring it to the attention of management they should at least respond. The food was worse quality than you would get at a fast food restaurant. The bartender was curt and made no efforts to improve the situation.

Allison (reception) she calmed me down, paid me back a cab fare, upgraded our room, gave me discount vouchers and contacted me three times to make certain we were both now relaxed. Four time I called the hotel to arrange for transport each time being put 'on-hold'. This made me very angry and my wife fed up with dfw. Get the pick-up transport right!

The rooms were really confortable - large, two very comfortable double beds with good linens, large bathtowels, fridge and coffee maker - excellent value. The hallways were a bit on the shabby side.

The hotel was very clean and nicely appointed. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Wish breakfast was included.... The hotel is a little distance from anything resembling entertainment, but centrally located to various activities.

Good location close to dfw Airport and local businesses. Free airport shuttle and highspeed internet. Room featured soundproof windows and lots of electrical outlets, as well as a really interesting and comfortable lounging chair with swivelling desktop armrests that was great for working or relaxing. A former Wyndam hotel, the Double Tree is currently undergoing rennovations. Hopefully this will include the air conditioning system in my room, which at the very least needed a new thermostat. Another problem I encourtered was in having a malfunctioning coffeemaker replaced. After 3 days of futile requests to front desk staff and assurances that it would be attended to, I finally had to contact the manager to get action although I must say that once the manager became involved he not only addressed the immediate problem but offered to compensate me for my inconvenience. Too bad his attitude didn't extend to the rest of the staff.

Loved the fact that they used the shuttle to transport u within a 5 mile radius of the hotel,,good clean pool great beds ,very quiet Charged us 60$ to use the room right up to a 5.30 m check out. Great relaxing stay before a long flight Fantastic stay to finish our U.S. holiday with

I was greeted promptly and offered warm cookies. The staff member was genuinely friendly and courteous. The room was large and comfortable. The in-room amenities were nice (personal products, coffee, etc.) The condition of the room wasn't great. There was a rip in the leather reclined and very worn patches in carpeting. The Starbucks coffee wasn't at all like that we have purchased many, many times before.

Friendly stuff, particularly the shuttle drivers, Alexander and Mac Very, very far from the civilization - needs a car, otherwise forget it! Thank God "Denny's" was near, so I could get something to eat.

The staff was nice and helpful, rooms clean and very comfortable. They didn't seem very organized, and both days were out of the 'complimentary toiletries' I requested. The breakfast was pretty terrible, even though we got there early, it seemed the buffet items were old and cold, and not very good. Definitely not worth the $16.00 per person.

Price was great, close to airport and had everything I needed for a quick in and out trip. I wish I had brought my daughter because the pool was nice and looked like a lot of families were there having fun. Lots of noisy guests. There were kids running up and down the hallway well past 9p and the people next door turned their tv up so loud in the morning that I couldn't even hear my own - but thats not the hotel's fault.
