This is a good motel as are many others. It is hard to find a bad one in this price range
My girlfriend and I went to acl, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She originally had reservations for another hotel but they had really poor reviews. So I found you guys on booking.com I had no idea what to expect but when we walked in we loved it. We had a blast at acl and it was our first time being alone for three days straight. Not only did I finally hear her say I love you for the first time ever but I got to hold her close and I feel that your hotel made everything possible. I thank you so much and look forward to staying there again.
I didn't get to stay longer
we've been to many area hotels for weekend getaways.the doubletree is by far the best.
Cushy bed and pillows. Decent staff, and an okay bar.
The damp, must room that didn't have working air conditioning. It felt gross, it smelled gross, and I think we would've been better off at a motel. The amenities were few, the hotel's hot tub wasn't that hot, and our room's shower had no water pressure. Disappointed at nearly every turn.
The out door lounge area and bar (including staff) was nice. It made the stay very relaxing.
My room was a non-smoking room but a smoker from next door hung outside between both rooms smoking. The smell was awful. Also, the front desk assistance was poor. It lacked energy, sense of any customer urgency and friendliness.
I stayed here for convention - convenient to stay onsite. Food staff very nice. Cleaning staff incompetent.
Had to fight to get any compensation - coupons for drinks and breakfast - when 1) lost dry cleaning 2) Didn't replace linens. 3) Telephone didn't work Food mediocre.
The extra charges after booking through you. And they charge you more when you pay with cash.
Staff very helpful and professional.
Facility is getting older - and it shows. It might be time go either invest in repairs and bring this property up to Doubletree standard, or change the flag.
I liked the location
I didn't like the fact that there was no free breakfast included.
We drove to Austin and had a room booked only to be told they were sold out and had not communicated that with third party bookings. I ask what compensation they would provide us for this big inconvenience, we were told all they could do was call around and try to find us a room somewhere else. That's not enough in my opinion, when its late and you've made all your plans around being at that hotel!
Very friendly valet staff. Nice clean spacious room. Comfortable bed.
The power was out and we had to change hotels. We were told when we arrived at the hotel, the outage would be 20 minutes. The situation worsened and we went to another hotel about 8:30 pm. We had to cancel our plans for the evening. It was very upsetting and inconvenient. They should have told us at 5:00 pm when we arrived that the outage could be extensive. We were very disappointed.
Brian in bar was great. Large room, good value.
Nice lobby, fair courtyard.
Hair in tub and around toilet. Disgusting Overcharged. Was charged $169 but had $149 confirmation. The corrected it, but it took numerous phone calls. The front desk never answered eight (8) phone calls. Finally had to call corporate.
Everything was high end and comfortable. This may be an odd comment, but it smelled really nice throughout the hotel. The beds were super comfortable, the staff was friendly, and everything was very clean. I also really liked the individual portion coffee maker.
They charged a lot for parking, even if you self parked. I understand paying for valet, but I felt like they should offer their guests free parking in the garage.
My $179.00 room rate was a farce. I stayed there a month earlier for $109 per night and confirmed my rate for the Sept stay and it was $179. per night. I asked for the lower rate and found out when I checked out the rate was higher. I felt like I was taken advantage of . My lower rate was never extended from my previous stay. I know you have to lock in rates, but I asked for the lower rate from my August stay and my reservation was confirmed at the desk with the lower rate. Can you correct my billing for the extra charges for the 3 rooms. What a hassel!!
