Comfortable room, close to freeway
The pillows! Size of room The cookie was pretty good Pretty clean (but I didn't do an inspection) Did I mention their Pillows? Heaven! Linens and Comfortor
Their food prices were ridiculous!
It was to hot in the room and although the thermostat was set at 65 it never went below 73....also the chair was worn out with the arms frayed
The bed was awesome.
The lamp by my bed wasn't working.
Filthy carpets. Poor or no service in the restaruant Car alarm outside went on for almost 2 hours at midnight until the battery died. That's the first night of 2. We will not return.
The food at the hotel was average, nothing outstanding here. The lunch that was provided for the conference was horrible and so was the breakfast.
The furniture was old and worn; should have been replaced years ago. The ironing board cover had stains all over it. We had called down stairs for a do not disturb sign and they never brought it up; we found housekeeping and she gave us one. On the day of check out the computer system was so slow that they had a line growing in the lobby. My suggestion check out an hour before you plan or plan on a long wait. For the amount of money they charge services should have been a lot better than what we received; if this is the best Bakersfield has to offer my suggestion is stay home. I will never return to this city again.
the Jacuzzi. it never seems to work right
The staff was very friendly, check-in and checkout for easy and the food was great!
Cookies and location.
Waitress fornfood extremely slow and inattentive. Car alarm outside room, no one could contact thenowner so it went on until the battery died. Carpets are filthy. Will not return.
Beds an linens were comfortable. Location was close to 2 highways, making it very convenient. I liked restaurant on premises which served a very good breakfast. The hostess that sat us ended up being our waitress as the waitress never shoewed up to serve us. The hostess provided excellent service. You can see the hotel has potential. Plenty of towels at pool. We would stay here again.
The room was not spotless. They had placed King bedskirt on Queen beds and they were hanging off making it look sloppy. Still small trash on carpet. Beer bottle and trash in patio. I think the hotel needs to spend resources on thorough cleaning of windows and detail work. The hot tub was very chlorinated and may need filters cleaned. The pool should be heated, water was cold.
The staff was great. It seemed like no matter what we asked for the they just said yes!
No furniture on our patio.
Billimg. Charges on my account that should not be there. Called left message with the hotel accountant did not return my call. So had to go through my credit card company to take care of the problem. I have been in customer service all my career and would never treat my customers this way.
We loved the location. Also enjoyed being able to have the door open and enjoy the breeze. Very nice size rooms. Bed with pillows and comforter comfy.
Definitely needs a facelift! Bathroom lighting is very poor. Overall just very dated. Not the typical Hilton.
An absolute good place to stay during a trip
The only remarkable point was that the good (but not cheap) breakfast is never included for booking.com guests (so the explanation by the front desc woman!)
Quiet rooms even though the hotel is located next to a major freeway. Very comfortable beds and a great pool. Perfect hotel for a one night stopover and/or for families.
Slightly outdated rooms and bathrooms.
Large well equipped, comfortable room. Although clearly set up for the business user it met our needs really well. Swimming pool and associated facilities looked good but regrettably we did not have time to test them out on our one night stay.
Breakfast in the motel looked a little more than we wanted to spend as a family but was probably more suitable for the main client base and their expectations of service.
Size of the room Barking in very convenient Very quiet inside the hotel
No breakfast Too close to the high way
Good location , room was good
The pool needs some more cleaning
The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
There was construction/upgrading going on. It was a bit distracting.
room was comfortable, good dinner at the restaurant in the hotel, with view of the marina.
Good service. Friendly staff. Chocolate chip cookie. Nice room. Beautiful courtyard and pool.
Hassle free check-in nice room and facilities at a reasonable rate.
Beautiful, modern, well kept facility. The rate we paid was very low for this quality.
Location. We arrived about 5 pm on a Friday via 99 southbound. The fwy was backed up for a mile before the offramp. When we finally got to the bottom of the ramp we discovered that to enter the hotel property it was necessary to immediately cross all three traffic lanes and make a left turn. Ha! Total gridlock. We had to right turn into the Costco parking lot and then fight our way back across hwy 178 to the hotel. After driving 600 miles from Ashland, or I was not in the mood for this exercise.
The restaurant staff was good. The front desk people were not friendly. The heavier gal was yelling in a verbal fight the morning I checked out. She was rude.
The bar staff was excellent but the bar is in serious need of an upgrade. Looks like something from the 1970's
