Position. Proximity to restaurants and metro plus NIH. Friendly staff. Breakfast excellent. Food generally very good.
Lobby area quite cold
Couldn't offer late check out
Checked in in less than 5 minutes - Marjorie on the front desk was very helpful - got awesome cookies. Located right in the heart of Bethesda - surrounded by many restaurants - Walking distance to the metro. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. We loved it!
Little chocked to see the note left in the room informing us that there were some constructions going on in the guest rooms, so they might come by during the day (they should have let us know about it when we booked the room!) But fortunately nobody ever came during our stay, so at the end of the day it was ok. Bath room was too small for me, might be ok for other people though. Suggestion: would have been a better stay if room had a mini-fridge and microwave. If not, a microwave might be placed next to the the ice machine so guest can have some warm things (not always cold)! :)
The entire staff is always very courteous, offers assistance, rooms are clean.
The Valet parking service was superb.
The lobby and dining area were a little too cold for my comfort.
There were two glasses in the room with luttle paper covers. When I took the cover off one to put water in, there was some liquid already in the glass. Doesn't inspire confidence in the cleanliness of the room.
The room is good sized. The staff provided a refrigerator (as listed in our booking) as well a a tv guide (not found in the room). All requests were answered speedily and courteously. Excellent service in the restaurant.
The bathroom was small and difficult for my wife (with walker) to maneuver in. Also, the toilet was difficult to lush.
Very clean and convenient and good price.
Everyone we had any dealings with went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer all questions!
Mandatory valet, no parking available.
In-room coffee and tea maker, iron.
Vallet parking staff was rude. Parking at and around the hotel is not convenient. Room smelled, windows cannot be opened to get fresh air. Room is comfortable, but requires modernization (for the price). No breakfast for 170 USD??
Location, value and bar in restaurant
Wifi didn't work inside room had to go down to lobby didn't make any sense for wifi not to work or connection to stay. Also there was blood on sheets waited to see if they would change the sheets no they just re did the bed over, I stayed for a week.
I liked the clean nice room and a warm welcome cookie.
I first got a wrong room key. The room I entered was already occupied. I tried to call the front desk from the phone by the elevator but nobody picked up. So I had to go down to the lobby.
This was our second time there
Everything was good
The breakfast was overpriced and not good. The buffet food was cold - could not eat it. Would never eat in the hotel again. Local shop like the waffle house was a much better choice food wise and value for the dollar.
pretty inside.staff very nice.on site restaurant was Very good.beds were great and plenty of pillows.nice view of downtown Bethesda.right behind the hotel is the free Bethesda circle bus.this is great.oh and the cookies were wonderful !!
shower had some mold in grout, housekeeping was fine until it came to the coffee service.they didn't refill.but i had some of my own.shuttle service to the metro was slow and its only a 10 minute walk, but it is offered you just have to wait.no regular time
I liked pretty much everything
WiFi not that good No fridge in the room Service in the restaurant wasn't that good. I saw the waiters only when she got the order and brought the meal and the check. Three salads we ordered non of them had cucumbers.
Staff is wonderful, as was the room and the rate. Especially want to thank AJ who checked us in. He saw how tired we were on arrival, got us the room right away and was very pleasant, patient, and efficient.
Very convenient in Bethesda
Location was ok, lots of restaurants in the neighborhoud, very safe place
There was no frigo-bar
There was limited cable, barely anything to watch. You had to pay for parking on top of paying for the hotel and there was a screaming baby next door
Front desk staff, Javier in particular, he was very attentive to our needs and everytime I saw him he was smiling. All the front desk staff was very helpful. The beds were so comfortable, linens clean. Rooms were set up nice, all around it was great
Easy to get to from 495 for visiting friends and relatives in MD and VA, and easy access to DC by metro.
Swimming pool hours - closed too soon in the evening, opened too late in the morning.
Room; Food; location and amenities. Thanks!
When one of the family members that came to visit my husband in the hotel asked one of the restaurant staff member if the soccer game was on (TV), the employee answered: 'I don't know I just came to work". A better answer could have been "I don't know, but don't worry I will check that for you". The family members got upset with the rude answer and left without ordering food. With that exception, I heard the rest of the staff were very good and efficient. Have to recognize the front desk employees @ the hotel parking garage personnel, who were very efficient and pleasant to deal with.
