Location, value and bar in restaurant
Wifi didn't work inside room had to go down to lobby didn't make any sense for wifi not to work or connection to stay. Also there was blood on sheets waited to see if they would change the sheets no they just re did the bed over, I stayed for a week.
I liked the clean nice room and a warm welcome cookie.
I first got a wrong room key. The room I entered was already occupied. I tried to call the front desk from the phone by the elevator but nobody picked up. So I had to go down to the lobby.
This was our second time there
Everything was good
The breakfast was overpriced and not good. The buffet food was cold - could not eat it. Would never eat in the hotel again. Local shop like the waffle house was a much better choice food wise and value for the dollar.
pretty inside.staff very nice.on site restaurant was Very good.beds were great and plenty of pillows.nice view of downtown Bethesda.right behind the hotel is the free Bethesda circle bus.this is great.oh and the cookies were wonderful !!
shower had some mold in grout, housekeeping was fine until it came to the coffee service.they didn't refill.but i had some of my own.shuttle service to the metro was slow and its only a 10 minute walk, but it is offered you just have to wait.no regular time
I liked pretty much everything
WiFi not that good No fridge in the room Service in the restaurant wasn't that good. I saw the waiters only when she got the order and brought the meal and the check. Three salads we ordered non of them had cucumbers.
Staff is wonderful, as was the room and the rate. Especially want to thank AJ who checked us in. He saw how tired we were on arrival, got us the room right away and was very pleasant, patient, and efficient.
Very convenient in Bethesda
Location was ok, lots of restaurants in the neighborhoud, very safe place
There was no frigo-bar
There was limited cable, barely anything to watch. You had to pay for parking on top of paying for the hotel and there was a screaming baby next door
Front desk staff, Javier in particular, he was very attentive to our needs and everytime I saw him he was smiling. All the front desk staff was very helpful. The beds were so comfortable, linens clean. Rooms were set up nice, all around it was great
Easy to get to from 495 for visiting friends and relatives in MD and VA, and easy access to DC by metro.
Swimming pool hours - closed too soon in the evening, opened too late in the morning.
Room; Food; location and amenities. Thanks!
When one of the family members that came to visit my husband in the hotel asked one of the restaurant staff member if the soccer game was on (TV), the employee answered: 'I don't know I just came to work". A better answer could have been "I don't know, but don't worry I will check that for you". The family members got upset with the rude answer and left without ordering food. With that exception, I heard the rest of the staff were very good and efficient. Have to recognize the front desk employees @ the hotel parking garage personnel, who were very efficient and pleasant to deal with.
Very convenient, pool on roof is perfect!!
Valet was nice but would rather not spend $23 per day for the service.
price, location to American University
a lot of food (room service) left in hallway and in vending/ice vestibule. Pool party on weekend was more of a "club"atmosphere with bar and DJ - did not look like it was attended by hotel guests. Watched 3 guests check it out and walk away when they felt unwelcome. pool on weekend not family friendly.
The entire staff was friendly, helpful and kind
The cookies!!! Ohhhh the cookies! The complimentary waters were great with the hot weather. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The place had a great relaxing vibe!
walking distance to most stores, restaurants, and subway. Staff were all very courteous and knowledgeable. king room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Pool on the roof and view from there was awesome.
that i had to leave!
I didn't spend a ton of time actually in the hotel, but the roof top pool was nice. Beautiful views and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
This hotel is too far (0.5mi) from the metro if you have small children that don't use a stroller. The water temperature in the shower kept changing while showering, even though I was NOT touching the dial. The beds are 'ok' on the comfort level, but the pillows are awful. And on our first night there, the fire alarm went off THREE times, about an hour apart each time... 4:00 AM, 5:15AM, and 6:15AM. My child was afraid to go back to sleep after the first one because the noise had scared him so much. NO explanation was offered as to why it kept going off. NO apology either. Apparently they gave free breakfast the next morning (I had to leave for the metro before 7am), but you had to ASK. There was no sign announcing it. Overall, I was NOT impressed with this hotel. I would never choose to stay here again. I got a decent price for the room through booking.com, but I would gladly pay more next time for a better hotel.
The bed was confortable. If you need to be in bethesda, the location is good.
Staff was not very friendly or helpful. There was no fridge in the room.
Location was great. We could walk to shops and restaurants.
Exterior could use some upgrading. Didn't have a lot of curb appeal.
The air conditioner is too noisy.
room comfort & cleanliness
daily Parking fee too high
Great location to food and expressway.
