Check-in was fast, staff was friendly. Walking distance to amtrak station. Police dept next door so the neighborhood is pretty safe.

No free wireless in the rooms. Also no free parking.

Food was good, room was very nice, bed very comfortable.

The staff were top notch. I had some semi-needy requests and they fulfilled each one at every back and call. The rooms were comfortable and the accommodations were just right. The one thing that sticks out in my mind is that I haven't experienced customer service like that in the US, if ever......GREAT STAFF!!

Rates $169.00 online the day of our departure the bill was $195!! Thats quite a difference. These extra charges were not explained during check in or check out. If I wamted to pay $195 per room plus $36 to park each car we would have stayed at a 5 star hotel! I WONT EVER BOOK A ROOM WITH DOUBLE TREE AGAIN. I WILL WARN ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO AVOID YOUR HOTEL BECAUSE OF THESE "HIDDEN FEES" We feel ripped off !!!

Our air conditioner didn't work. Only hot air would blow in do we had to open the window all night and it's noisy in downtown LA.

It is a clean and friendly hotel, located near LA's most exciting places, and this makes it perfect for business and vacation trips.

After we checked out, we did not get the receipt and front desk employee refused to provide us the receipt simply because we should ask for this receipt from bookings.?.?.?. What a ridiculous excuse?

The location. It's a long walk to the main shopping areas and to get there if you're not careful you can go through rough streets which I did. It's good location for the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Asian area and shops but that's all. I think your website needs to amend "this hotel in downtown Los Angeles offers an airport shuttle" as it was misleading as you think the airport shuttle would be free but it's not its a taxi service like any other hotel and it costs you 55 dollars so please can you change this. The only reason I booked this hotel was for the shuttle to the airport thinking it would be a regular free shuttle service. So I ended up in a dodgy neighbourhood and I had to pay to get to the airport.

Location is ok. Nice spacious room. Convenience business center.

Parking is too expensive. No tooth brush in room (even though I know most American hotel do not offer this). Must drive to reach different places, but not far away though, still consider convenience if u have a car.

Of course we loved the rooftop garden and the location being in Little Tokyo. The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. A couple of small problems were dealt with very quickly. Recent renovations have really freshened up this hotel. We would stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with black out shades. Nice lobby and staff welcome.

Not their fault but I was looking forward to sitting in the Garden but it was being used for weddings the entire time I was there.

plastic glasses in the room, coffee for one ony in paper cups, very noisey traffic and sirens all night.

Our trip was planned as a sentimental return to the "hotel" we had stayed in 24 years ago, this newly refreshed version was very lovely and comfortable plus had the elements we most nostalgically recalled. We intend to return much sooner next time. The Kyoto's service personnel were so kind, the "van" took us to moca Sunday morning, the concierge and the support staff were cordial and entirely friendly.
