Score from 33 reviews Excellent
Left my phone charger at home and phone completely died. Front desk went out of their way to find an employees for me to borrow instead of just saying no they don't have one.
Location. Everything within walking distance.
The rooms were No different than a $50.00 room at a travelodge. Not worth 200.00 A Night.
The cookies were great love the hospitality.
Nothing I didn't like
I loved the style of the room, the comfort of the bed; I liked the location and very nice décor in entire building.
Wifi is not free, parking isn't free and breakfast is expensive. Would like more perks as a guest. I spent $350 for a two night stay
Value for money and staff were friendly and helpful
Very clean and nice staff
Everything is extra. Breakfast, internet in the room, bottled water, parking, you need to pay extra for everything, which makes the hotel much more expensive that what you think it is.
noise from train
Friendly staff, great location and nice rooms. Short walk to Panthers stadium which was why I was in Charlotte.
Wifi wasn't free, first place we'd stayed at so far on the trip where it wasn't. $10 a day for wifi is bit of a joke.
It was a fine property
I book with you through a service and chose it because of the reasonable price ($208.00 for two days plus tax). I arrive and discovered that was a $28.00 charge for parking, a $20.00 charge for wifi and $15/$20 a person for breakfast. I felt like I'd stepped into a "gotcha sucker".
Liked location in relation to bank america stadium. Staff were all awsome. Breakfast was excellent.
Didn't like that the only meal served in the restaurant/bar area was breakfast.
For some reason, they double charged me for one room and no one was able to take care of the problem for me (after numerous phone calls) until their accountant/controller came in at 3pm that afternoon, in the meantime, my account is missing $170.00! They don't know how to handle issues very well. They also charge you for everything! Nothing seems to be included like other hotels do - you don't even get a continental breakfast. I will never stay again!
No Free Internet Access
I loved the room. Very clean. Location was good proximity to our travel needs
Staff was rude and unconciderate. My fiance went to a local store and was assaulted. Upon his return, he was a mess and the front attendant would not let him come into hotel. They threatened to have him arrested. When police arrived, they would not let him come on premise because he "was troubling in appearance" to other guests..Even though he was traumatized by what happened, and it was late and there were no other guests present. He had to sleep on a loading dock at a nearby Walmart. This was poor customer service.
My brother and I booked rooms at this hotel at the same time. Neither reservation was listed when we arrived. The hotel staff told us that the reservation was never transmitted from Booking.com to the hotel. Fortunately they were able to work us in despite being sold out, but I was very disappointed that the hotel had no record of the reservation.
decor and warm welcome cookie
The "free" parking is street parking. Very misleading on the booking website.
We went to go to the football game. Within walking distance of the stadium. Nice downtown area. Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.
Location. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit.
The parking and internet were not free as indicated when we booked our room on line. A disappointment.
The only thing I disliked was nickel amd dime style attitude. Everything cost extra. To the point I was afraid ro use too much toilet paper for fear I may be charged extra. Wonderful place to stay, but for $100 or more a night you would at least expect a complimentary danish ar least.
Walking distance to the Carolina Panther Stadium!
Unexpected costs: $14 per night to park in the hotel parking area, $16 for an exaggerated continental breakfast, fee for internet.
Odd parking arrangement.
Check-in was very easy, the room was small but very comfortable and clean and there are no words to describe how amazing the beds and pillows felt. The front desk staff and the bartender Angelina (California) was Super nice and knew a lot of great information about the area. The pool was very clean and refreshing and the workout room had state of the art equipment. If you are looking to be close to uptown Charlotte without being right in the middle of the noise, this is the perfect place to stay. We were able to enjoy restaurants and bars in both ends of Uptown...All within walking distance.
If the head of housekeeping has a problem with where guests are allowed to smoke, she should take it up with the manager and not stand in the parking garage "talking" to another employee and screaming it so loudly that everyone in the smoking area stops to stare at them. Also, if the "Cookie Girl" has been out drinking alcohol, she should not announce that to another employee (the loud and very rude above mentioned Head of Housekeeping) in front of guests especially while in her uniform and while getting in her vehicle to leave. If you pay with cash, you have to give them an additional $100 for incidentals. It is refundable but it still would have been nice to know prior to checking in. Guest should not have to pay $14 a day for parking.
