location was great really nice rooms price fair bell boy really helpful for transpostation around the city
cleaning at odd hours really poor room service. the cleaning lady did not leave enough things in room had to be asking the front desk for things
Location Comfortable beds Free warm cookie at check in was a nice touch Concierge was helpful
Leaking window No kettle in the room and staff couldn't find one Bathtub blocked up Hotel staff and booking.com failed to communicate with each other to add a guest name to the room, despite 3 phone calls I made on the day of departure to resolve this. $10 for a fridge rental in the room - seriously? Will never stay there again
Perfect location on Michigan Ave. is easy walking to shopping, Millennium Park, public transportation, Art Institute, lakefront, and many restaurants. Professional staff. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Sufficient elevators for a crowded weekend. Nice linens on the beds.
It is time to replace the mattresses in the room we had. Other than that, everything was great.
Staff Room size Smoking availability Cleanliness
Beds were great
We got to stay on the floor just below the top floor w amazing views all because we decided to wait a couple hours.. well worth the wait. Thanks you to all the staff who made our trip memorable.
I didn't like the parking fee, I think it was quite high.
The location was great.
We booked through booking.com at a certain price for two nights, and was told the price would be almost double when we showed up to check in. After that was sorted out, the cable kept cutting out preventing us from watching any college football on Saturday. The rooms were ok, but not overly clean.
Very central and good staff
Bathroom is too old looking. Air conditioning is noisy. Ceiling was a bit dirty.
The Wifi connection is really below par. I ended turn off the wifi. The checking-in staff at the counter didn't make us feel comfort.
Walking distance to shops, food and the beach.
Parking at the hotel is an additional $50 per night and I didn't see that mentioned in the site.
The location was great. The pool was nice and their were plenty of clean towels.
When we got there two bellman got into a some-what physical and definitely verbal altercation. The staff told us the room wasn't ready yet. We waited until 3 and we were told 3 was just when check in began, not guaranteed. We finally got our room at 5:45. The day was shot. Our stuff in storage all afternoon.
A bit crowded lobby Slow elevators No fridge
Your employees were very helpful and professional.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Anything we needed anyone we asked was happy to help. We really enjoyed our stay.
The only downside to the room itself was no access to a mini fridge that we could use. Possiblyou to keep food since we were there for 3 days. Also, my wife is a breastfeeding mother and had to pump milk all weekend. In turn with no access to a refrigerator, she had to dump all of the milk down the drain.
The cleaning of the room was not the best.
I loved the location of the hotel, close to all the sights as well as The L train. The hotel itself was beautiful.
I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for Wi-Fi, I feel that this should be complimentary. This was the first hotel in a long time that I would have to pay in order to use Wi-Fi so in the end I didn't use it. I also felt that the one concierge (black female) was not very personable she made me feel as though I was "stupid" with my questions.
Thai restaurant near to the hotel. NOT hotel restaurant
Overcharged the room. They just changed the price, charging a fare different from booking rate.
Friendly staff and excellent customer service!
that I didn't stay longer! haha Nothing to dislike!
Great Staff, comfortable, clean, great location.
I booked through booking.com for 1 night and decided to take the room 1 day early. The room charge for the extra day was 60$ cheaper than the booking.com price, for the same room. Surprised me because I use booking.com a lot and thought I was getting the best price from them. I may have to rethink how I book hotels in the future.
Beds were great
Girl at front desk when we checked in was not very friendly.
Comfort and convenience to many sights.
Price of parking
Location, so close to Navy pier and Magnificent Mile excellent breakfasts.
The public rooms and facilities are a little tired.
Location, reasonable room.
Booked with the Hilton because of their advertised availability of a smoking room. On arrival they confirmed the smoking room but after waiting for the room to be prepared discovered it was a non smoking room. Assuming that a mistake had been made,on contacting the desk we where only then told that it would be two nights before one was available. Because this was the sole reason for booking with the Hilton we could have booked at a less expensive hotel. And why in this day and age is wifi not complimentary throughout the hotel. The extra charge made by hotels is just price gouging. What next? An extra charge for the bed?
Location, location, location. Staff is amazing, specially Michael (front desk). Cleanliness. This is the best hotel that I've ever stayed.
The elevators are a little bit slow - not a problem at all.
