The room and services like the business center are very nice
the staff was wonderful, the room was perfect, definitely good for a night Stay
We went to the bar for a drink and it could've had more of a selection and we would liked them to have a specialty cocktail menu.
Additional payment applied Example, car parking. The rates are high comparing with other locations
Very friendly staff and warm cookies!!!!! Very comfortable beds and great value!!!!
When we arrived at the airport on a late flight we had a miscommunication with the shuttle service and our initial perception was not excellent. However the amazing young lady at our check-in and the rest of the staff made our stay one of the best we have experienced. We will choose Double Tree again.
We had a brilliant stay love the hotel room so spatious and clean the bed was so comfortable
Their was something beeping throughout the night
Location isn't central but close enough to the subway and only 10 min to downtown
Which hotel doesn't offer free wifi in 2014? This one...
I thought the customer service was awesome the night we arrived, but it was terrible the morning we left!
I guess with the prices that's charged for staying a single night at the hotel, why would you charged your guest for parking? That is ridiculous and if you just necessarily need the money, atleast let the customer know before checking out.
We had a one night layover and this place was perfect! Free airport transfer, wifi, cookie and coffee maker make it a great value. Had pizza and salad in the cafe, both very good. Location was 15 min. from airport, but it didn't matter. Free shuttle and super nice drivers. In the same situation, I would stay again.
I've stayed at many hotels in Hyannis. This is my favorite for comfort and convenience.
New hotel, rooms nice.
They lied and gave an address that didn't exist in the wrong city in order to get customers. They are not in Boston.
The room was a good size and pretty clean - not the most modern place, but very acceptable.
Cost of parking - this is not a hotel very near to the city centre, so I though the price was a little steep. Other facilities not great (café, leisure facilities).
Very comfortable hotel and perfect location for the price as we took the T into the City when we wanted to look around Boston. Two nights cost just about 500.00 compared to the City where you would pay closer to 2k so we were thrilled. The staff made our stay that much better. Loved Sammy the shuttle driver!
That we could not stay longer...boo hoo
The hotel was very nice and super clean. Beds were very comfortable and overall it was a very nice experience. There is a T station 5 min away that will take you anywhere in the city. There is also a new supermarket around the corner, so getting food or snacks is not a problem.
The shuttle doesn't quite work as advertised. It runs to the airport at a scheduled hour and even though they put your name in the schedule, they will not wait for you or call the room to let you know they are ready to go. We had to book a taxi on the way back since the shuttle left without us even though we booked it the night before. I just think it should be stated clearer that shuttle works more like a bus and not as a complimentary ride.
The staff were great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the rooms also had cable tv and there was a little shop down by reception.
The wifi was expensive, $12 a day per device
Overall very comfortable. Good position 5 minutes walk from JFK/Umass station. 10 min.to downtown Boston. Close to supermarket 5 min.walk. Bar also on site. Shuttle to airport available.
Accommodation charge. Breakfast not inc.Can get it on site from shop but pricey.
Close to T
Bad instructions re shuttle to T
Staff were excellent as with previous stays at such places. Large room, very comfortable though didn't sleep well (don't think this was to do with the bed). Room was clean and tidy and had everything needed. Nice quiet location, 10 minute subway into to city. Complementary cookies really nice, kept asking for more each day.
The cafe associated with the hotel is a little strange at times. There were two Chinese ladies working there who were a little brash one minute and friendly the next, at times some of the staff didn't seem to work well together. A better breakfast choice would have been nice as per the Washington Hilton. The cafe in general needs some tweeking of procedures as most customers seemed confused by ordering food one end and then drinks at the other and there being no communication from or between the staff.
Staff Rooms Bar
Restaurant was a bit limited for choice
Good food options all day if a little pricey. Great shuttle bus service
Only a few blocks from the subway to head to downtown. Subway was easy to use. If you are in Boston for a few days I recommend buying the weekly pass of $19.00. It was well worth it.
Very comfortable beds!
Staff seemed too busy to help customers.
My room had no heat the first night. The second night I had heat, but it was not temperature controlled, There was a wall thermostat, but it did not work. I informed the staff of my temperature /heating difficulties before leaving the hotel at 8 AM--nothing was done until I returned to the hotel that evening, and insisted that the problem be addressed.
Liked the cookie when we arrived Staff very helpful Liked having food available on site in a casual way not over priced restaurants Shuttle service prompt and efficient Liked it was near the transit system
