We were only there one night but the staff were fantastic. I have to say the cookies are yummy. I would recommend this location to anyone.

When asked for an upscale restaurant - none of the staff were able to recommend a great place for dinner- I was handed a printed sheet and they didn't know anything about any of the restaurants-
This place had a really comfortable bed and pillows. The lake outside the hotel is gorgeous and was perfect for a romantic getaway. I recommend a room with a view of it, like I had. The restaurant within the hotel is decent and is decently priced. The parking lot has security.
In addition to the cost of the room, there's an undisclosed (at least until you check in) cost of 11.00 per night to park at the hotel. Also, Wi-Fi costs about the same per day, so it is definitely not free. Also, there are no signs to post by the door, so get ready to have room service bother you at 9am on Sunday morning.

The hotel services are poor. The hotel provides a breakfast for thier guest but the ones from booking.com doesnt get it
I had reserved an incorrect date but had not noticed until we arrived. The staff worked with me and booking.com to remedy the situation and I had a room in under 10 minutes.
I booked one king bed room for me and my fiancé ten months ago , than my parents want to going to California also. I booked the other two queens bed room but when I got there I told the reception lady if she could give us two room next each other . She said it no problem and free charge but it was only 1 king bed room available at that time, we have to wait at least 1 more hour for the room check-out and clean up. I said that's fine , we will do that. 4 of us squeeze in 1 room around 1:30pm and we decide to go out for lunch, I told the reception and she told us leave our phone number she will contact us when the other room was available . I gave her my number and my fiancé number just in case . We wait , had lunch and came back to the hotel at 3:40pm and that reception lady not there anymore . I told the other reception lady about the room , she take a look around and said I don't know anything about it, we tried to explain and describe how the other reception look (I know she know who I am talking about because they have the shift paper work)after all she called the first reception lady and said she sorry , the first reception didnt leave the note so they let's somebody else take that room . If I want the other room for my Parents close to my room we have to wait few more hours . It's kinda waste our time and I don't want to deal with them any more , finally I said whatever give me the room I already booked but they just gave my parents the room with 1 queen bed, I was so upset. All the reception do for make us feel comfortable is 3 cookies bags, actually I didn't take it and walk straight up to our room. Next day we got a phone call from the first reception she said she did left the note to gave us another King bed room next to my room without charge but don't know why they still screw up. And after all she offer us a free breakfast which is very small menu ,plain , sample breakfast buffet .
Nice Staff Large room free refridgerator.... Even though we didn't use it we were really put off by the "sensors" on every item at the Sheriton San Diego which wouldn't allow you to cool your own drinks, leftovers etc. We had a view of the lake which was really nice.
Parking. We literally got the very last spot in the lot on Sat. Night at 10:30 pm. Elevators were a bit slow.

Shuttle van drivers were excellent got us where we needed to go quickly and were friendly and efficient. Staff was very friendly and treated us well. Liked the lake nice place to take a stroll before long flight home.
Took a while to get through to hotel to request a shuttle to pick us up at airport. And were given a bill for parking when we didn't have a car. This was very quickly taken care of so no real problem there.
Convenient to airport, relaxed environment, low stress area compared to downtown LA, close to shopping and facilities.
Loud A/C unit, seems a little older than expected. Had to pay for Wi-Fi in the room. Marriotts typically no charge.

I stayed in a room that's straight across from Parking and if you turn the Ac on there's no privacy since the curtain are I front of the ac vent and vent can't be adjusted! Hate the fact that hotel system had a glitch and my account was charged 6 times and yet not resolved since Friday now going on 5 days. One manager by the bane of Chris seems to be wanting to help resolve this issue and for that ok thankful. Waiting for a speedy process as Rent is due today. I would hope the hotel takes some responsibility for this unfortunate incident.
