Airport shuttle

Noisy. I asked for a quiet room and was given one right next to the elevator!

We were only there for an overnight stay. We checked in at 1:00am and checked out at 10:30am. But the room was very clean and everything was in its place. The front desk staff was very courteous and very informative about the hotel's amenities and services. I would stay there again.

If I were to nit-pick about the room, I would say that the view from the room wasn't that good.

The young lady who checked me in was new and did a wonderful job! I couldnt afford valet parking but that didnot stop those gentle man from being so very helpful...I Think the one guys name was either Sampson or Simon with out his help I think I would still be driving around D.C. I thank you again!

We were out until 8:30 one nite and 8:45 the next. On the first nite my boys both14 went to the pool to take a quick dip, was told if you didnt bring a towell you cant swim we dont have any here. (I was told were supplied there) so by the time they got back there they got to swim a half hour. Second day by the time they put there thing away they went up at 9:15 came back 10 min later and said they couldnt swim cause the pool closed in 15 min...that man should not be kicking the people out of that pool until 10:00 pm like it is posted! My boys would not let me take of this then but I am letting you know that it makes thing look bad when people change the rules in the middle of a game

It is very close to the airport. And there is a big shopping mall not far away from the hotel.

It is hard to find food at night. The staff are very slow. We waited for some blankets for an hour and had to call the front desk three times. The internet connection is unstable. The rooms are relatively smaller than doubletree in Miami.

Skydome was really neat.

Our 13 year old son uses a wheelchair but is a very accomplished swimmer holding multiple national titles in competitive disabled swimming. He was told by the life guard he had to use the lift in the pool. I understand why the lefts were installed in public pools, however this should be a choice for the guest, not mandatory. It was a very degrading experience for our son.

Free shuttles to metro and airport

Hilton Honors did not honor points and miles from this property, even after speaking with a supervisor. Hotel did not have my reservation when I tried to check in and I had to wait hours for them to get that straight, even though I showed them my confirmation. No places to eat in convenient walking distance. Hotel eating options overpriced and mediocre.

Staff was always very nice and curteous. Shuttle system operated very well.

Walls seemed very thin. Could always hear our neighbors making noise. Food menu was overpriced and vending machines did not operate properly.

Very stressful! After a long day of sightseeing we wanted to relax in our rooms. One reservations were messed up. My room was not the skyline view room we thought we booked. My son's room was booked on the wrong weekend which was the week before so was charged for it plus he had to pay double for the room and for family. Which added to the stress. The staff was very cursitous but the error in the date shouldNOT have happen we both made confirmation calls to the hotel.

The responsiveness of the staff in spite of being overwhelmed with a student population conference. I liked the view the room provided. It was close to Metro, shopping and freeways. Room service was excellent. All in all it's a great place to stay.

The parking fees of $26/day are outrageous. Still, it's better than getting a ticket.

Convient to Airport (Reagan Washington) Unfortunately didn.t have time to utilize services - just a quick over-night with flight out in AM. Parking during trip out was excellent and reasonable.

Cleanliness, facilities and locality to Washington DC were the strongest positives. It was a nice hotel, and very good value for money

I paid extra to have one of the skyline views, as I was there on a romantic break with my girlfriend. Sadly, the views were extremely disappointing. We were on the third floor, directly facing another hotel. If I peered to the right, I could just see part of The Pentagon, and to the left, a few roads and buildings... Yes I could see the sky, but it was FAR from 'Skyline Views over Washington'. From anywhere in our room, the only view we had, was of the hotel opposite.

It was an okay hotel, really needs to be upgraded

It had a stale smell, my friend cut her finger on a old toilet tissue holder that had a jagged edge, the parking garage feels and looks unsafe with really tight spaces

The atmosphere and the size of the room.

As with all us hotels you pay for Internet - in 2012 this seems out dated. Add a dollar or two to the room and let that cover the expense.

Great location. Friendly, courteous staff. Reasonable rates. Excellent service. Delicious cookies!

The cost of parking - too high.

The price we got the hotel for was amazing. I also enjoyed how every place we went was less than 15 minutes away!

How they charged multiple charges on our account and didn't give an explanation.

At web site we saw and reserved a room with with two suits. Whem we arrived we discovered that there isn't this kinfd of acomodation tha Hilton Washinton, and was very unpleasent for us because we are in two families, 5 people.

Nice beds with extra pillows, shuttle every 30 minutes to a metro stop near the mall. The cleaning crew was wonderful, helpful and always had a smile.

Hotel food prices were way to much (20 dollars a plate for buffet, for breakfast), You had to dress up to go to the roof top resturant, so we didn't eat at in the roof top.

They must clean the floor in the Cafe. It was visibly dirty, and shoes stuck to the floor when we walked. That is not only ugly, it would surely not meet health standards. That was the only part of our stay that was unacceptable.

The Doubletree was quiet and pleasant and convenient. The staff was most helpful. The hotel was a bit worn, but was clean and neat. We stayed in a smoke free room/section.

The room was tidy and clean. The staff friendly and efficient.

It's very accessible to the Metro, but you wouldn't know it unless you researched it beforehand. Invest in signage for the Crystal City passageways.
