I loved the scenery, tranquility and the quietness of hotel.

Every person I encountered that worked there was so friendly. I didn't pass an employee that didn't say good morning or how's your day. Its a nice change. Coodles to your staff.

The room was attractive and comfortable. Great location on University Ave for business at the University of Berkeley. Friendly service.

The staff...especially since my adult daughter was in a w/C...very helpful. Also the shuttle drivers were very helpful since the van wasn't w/c friendly. Ed was especially helpful.

Time it took to get a 2 double bed room that could accomadted a w/C. A crabby manager that didn't take time to hear me in reguarding shuttle service. I had booked om line a week or more ahead of our arrivle

Great French onion soup in the restaurant! Good breakfast buffet. Nice harbor view from restaurant and west rooms. Good selection of snacks and drinks (some healthful), including good expresso drinks at the small gift shop. Many interesting seabirds in area. Trails for walking/hiking/biking. ~25 minute hike to 4th St. shopping area.

Loud heater fan. Grab bar narrows tub shower, curtain should be moved to widen the space. Slight chemical smell in bedding, but it diminishes overnight. Room was adequate but not special design-wise.

We enjoyed the lap pool, gym, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Our room faced the Marina so this was a pleasant view, worth paying a little extra for.

Although the room had a microwave, the was no fridge or crockery and cutlery.

We had two connecting rooms, a king suite and regular double (2 queens) for our family of 4 (two older kids). I think there also may have been a fold out couch in the suite. It was very spacious and comfortable, nice furniture design, polite staff. Quiet

Liked just about everything. Only improvement would be more places to hang towels in the bathroom.

We requested a view of the marina and was sent two buildings down from the main lobby

Nice location sandwiched between open water and City of Berkeley. Opportunity for walks in adjacent park as well as along the marina and pier.

Great location next to the Marina (specially if you book a Hornblower Cruise). Free parking. Nice room with balcony. Business center with free internet and printing.

No milk available in bar for our baby.

Excellent value for money and attractive and comfortable

Toilet in my room - 3204 barely did its job. Had to flush 3,4 and e3ven 5 times. This defect should be picked up prior to handing over the room TV service very poor. Many channels state "No service". Switching from one channel to the next is very slow - and then what comes on the screen? "No service"

No refridgerator in the room, broken heat lighting in bathroom. Room looked over a parking lot.

Bad maintainace - had to call about simple things for two different rooms.

Paper thin walls. All night the sound of the elevator kept us from sleeping. Along with that the people walking by and in adjoining rooms they were as good as in our room. Horrible conditions for sleeping. Also the distance from our room to the front lobby was very incovient.

We saw a roach in our room as soon as we got there ...also I wish they had provided us with a map to find the place -we got lost on our way there and did not arrive until 1:00 on the morning -also its pretty darn expensive -would like a 50% refund because of the reasons stated above William t Scroggs

I like that the hotel was pet friendly. Staff is very friendly as well.

I didn't like the layout of the buildings. It can get confusing. Also, we had a pet room which was fine. However, it seemed like it wasn't completely cleaned. It sort of had a "wet dog" smell. I think more care should be used when cleaning the carpet since guests pay a fee for cleaning. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

the staff was the best, friendly and helpful. Thr room needed some minor repairs , toilet paper holder falling out of the wall and the furnitiure some of the knobs very loose. otherwise fine.
