Loved the location, cleanliness of the room, mini fridge, helpful reception staff, comfortable beds and lots of space even for a family of 5
The lifts broke one evening and we were on the 20th floor! Also, the air con in the bar area is much too cold. It put us off having another drink.
Great Location. Right next to the subway. Excellent staff.
The beds were too small.
The location is perfect on the time square the room and staff were nice also
Very noisy out side so it will be a problem when you sleep
Nothing in Doubletree
Everything in the hotel missed up
Lobby area, cookies, room coffee, storage in room, friendly staff
WiFi inconsistent and difficult to logon to
Not very clean
Nice and convenient for up to 3-4 people families. Quiet, neat and clean rooms and very kind staff.
We got breakfast one day but the charge was way too high. It's just too much for a hotel in Times Sqr where there are thousand other places you could have breakfast for 1/10 of the money.
we are family of five and loved that we were all together. plenty of space and good facilities in the room. beds very comfortable.
a light breakfast could have been included in the price. proper cups instead of paper cups.
Our stay overall was very enjoyable. Nightly rates are High but I guess that is new york.
the lounge on the 3.floor is too small coffee quality in room can be upgrade breakfast could be varied not everything the same the whole week
Lovely big suites with great views. Very comfortable. Nice tea and coffee making faculties and good size fridge. Huge comfy bed. Great location
Free wifi only in the main bar area. You have to pay a lot to have it in your room which seems a bit mean in this day if free wifi in so many places
Staffs at reception are very very helpful and friendly. The location of hotel is more than perfect.
Old facilities. The sofa bed is too short and uncomfortable.
the staff were so friendly that they made me want to come again
the a/c was so loud and the bed wasn't as good as i thought it would be
Large rooms, lovely bathroom, great hairdryer, plenty of space!
Breakfast should be included in the price of the rooms. The coffee shop on the 3rd floor - terribly expensive!
Location to entertainment venues and location in general.
Location is amazing if you want to stay in the middle of this noisy Citi.
Relation cost/benefit is not good, too expensive for the services they provide. Even worst, I was waiting for more than an hour for my car, and I had to go for it .....
Loved everything about it, my second stay at the Doubletree Suites ... the view was amazing from the 39th floor .... great location, step out of the door onto Times Square ... fab hotel I will always stay here if I can get a decent price !
Nothing, it was great
Location - right on Time Square King size bed and quality of linen Chocolate chip cookies at check-in is delicious Helpfulness of staff - we didn't get the room we booked and Jenny then gave us free Wi-Fi in our room without us even asking Coffee machine in room Staff allowed us to stay a little longer in our room since we only departed very late.
The fact that wifi isn't free in the rooms We didn't get a room with a view on Time Square and the Hudson river as booked on Booking.com Can't really cook anything in room - kitchen only has a small microwave oven and a sink Busy with huge road works in front of hotel
The proximity to so many venues. Transportation at your fingertips. Right across from Times Square and the action
The only thing I like about this hotel is location.
The hotel is not good stay in at all. Streets from the enternse to room. It dosent deserve to be 4 star hotel. List of things I did not like: Bellman ask u for tips and insest for more money. Door man ask you for tips even for his smile. Rooms and furniture is very old. It dosent deserve to be 4 star hotel. Don't go with picture in hotel profile, it dosent look the same. Finally I coudnt complete my stay at the hotel, I checked out earlier and they ask me to pay for my extra night which I didn't mind.
The concierges were really friendly and helpful, anywhere we wanted to go they have tips and good directions always with a smile on their face. The doormen helped get taxies and got our car for us, very very friendly and helpful staff for us tourist!
The restaurant in the hotel, very very expensive, you could go to a nicer restaurant on time square and pay less, just for two ommlets for breakfast was $65 and the food was just ok, not worth what food you could get for that price at better restaurants on time square.
From hotel to sightseening is very easy, go shopping easy.
1)Too much noice until 1-2am. sleep bad. 2)Trafic is difficult, have to park car for 2days no ussage, parking fee crazy. But if not rent car, also difficult arrive to hotel from airport.
Fridge and micro wave The sitting room Lots of room so big for New York Location is fantastic Lovely staff helpful and so polite I stayed for ten days the best hotel in all my travels sad to leave
