Too much noise. We were close to lobby tv

The warning about the parking situation. The valet parking is priced too high.

Beds were very uncomfortable. The hotel seems worn, in need of a renovation. We were very disappointed not to be able to get our "usual" 2 bedroom suite. We stay at Marriott Residence Inns a lot for this very reason. (But we used booking.com for the first time ever and it evidently was not clear in the description. Will never use them again.)
The friendly doormen who were always cheerful and willing to help in any way. The breakfast selection was very good.

I should have taken the young ladies advise on check-out to joint the Marriott reward club seeing as the TV went out in my room & couldn't be fixed.
The staff. The gave each guest personal attention.

Not a thing.
Our daughters attend The George Washington University. We only stay at this hotel. It's around the corner from the metro and the school, and moments from the National Mall. The staff is friendly and accommodating always! Breakfast is good, too:)

The pool is tiny No hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel Need more visitor info Front desk staff not necessarily knowledgeable about things to do in the area, such as where to catch the boat to Alexandria, it was within walking distance from the hotel and they didn't know it. Thank you smart phone and gps! No vending machines on the floors got water
Nice beds, clean and comfortable. Good location Wonderful breakfast.

I think for the price I shouldn't be charged an additional $40 per day to park my car, especially since parking garages in the area are around $12 per day. I also think that if you are going to charge me $40 for parking my car, then I should have been told prior to arrival during the reservation process.
The room was large and clean, the staff friendly and helpful.

the closeness to all the site and the easy access by foot to and around the capital.

Nothing. We were completely satisfied with our stay.
Booked 3 nights because of its location (near metro and monuments), we could book a suite with kitchen, the rate included breakfast, and there was a guest laundry available for use. What a wonderful surprise to learn that in the evening, there is a light supper (with beer, wine and soft drinks) available to all guests! This saved us probably over $200 as DC is not inexpensive when it comes to meals. The Marriott "light supper" was more than substantial, somewhat healthy (always salad available), and very tasty. Food was plentiful -- not rationed at all. But get there early if you want the amazing chocolate chip cookies -- those go FAST!

Spacious and clean rooms, very good breakfast buffet. Very conveniently located between the White House and the suburb of Georgetown which were easy to reach by walking. Friendly and competent personal including the valet car service.
