The room was very clean; our room was next to an outside fan, so wasn't very quite!! I will reccomend this hotel for is central location!! We asked for a phone adapter at reception and a plaster and the staff was not able to help us, although they were very helpfull to retify a mistake my father made with the television. |

It was ina great location and the room was quite and peaceful although it was in such a busy part of town. I did not like the cab service that they recommend. They are black unmarked cars that are parked outside the front door and they are very untrustworthy, it is worth your money to just get a regular cab. |

The Doubletree was perfectly located for our short vacation. We enjoyed this quiet and very safe area of the city. We enjoyed our healthy walks to Times Square, Greenwich Village and Central Park. We also enjoyed the friendly, efficient service and economical rates. When we arrived in the a.m. our room was available so we were allowed to check-in early. I found the elevators slow, so used the stairs much of the time. (we were on one of the lower floors). I found the stairs a little "scarey-spooky" and wished there was better signage in the stairwell to show the way. (this is probably not obvious to someone familiar with the hotel) |

When we complained about our room we were moved the next day to a much higher standard room. The bed was big and really comfortable, the room was spacious and had all that we needed for our stay. The concierge was really helpful, nice touch to get a cookie on arrival The lady who checked us in was rude and unfriendly, not the best welcome after a long day of travelling. She also didn't give us any inofmation about the hotel - we didn't know there was a fitness centre until the day we left! The hotel is a bit tired and could do with updating in terms of the decor. |

nothing in particular, it was an average city hotel, it was however well located for the major sites the check-in procedure was poor if you arrived early.they did however acknowledge this and provided breakfast as compensation |

the hotel had a great mid-town location. It was clean, and the staff friendly. I would recommend it to my friends. The bar was over-priced and underwhelming. They added a gratuity to my bill. We had two drinks and were a party of two. That was unexpected and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel bars in the area. The martini was not that good. Warm, with soggy, undersized olives in a cheap glass. |

The lobby was terribly crowded as everyone wanted to use the WiFi - a WiFi room would have been nice so one could get in and out the front doors without tripping over people and their laptops. |

The room was big enough, very clean, the bed was excellent. Very close to all main points, the subway is few steps away from the hotel. Breakfast in hotel was very expensive, and we were not given any options but the buffet, although there were few other options on the menu. Internet was extremely expensive. To print 5 pages and 5 min of internet end up costing 15$. The heater in our room was broken so we were freezing all night, there were no extra blankets in the room, so we had to request one. |
