Score from 19 reviews Very good
This stylish Manhattan hotel is located in the Theater District and is 3 blocks from Times Square. It offers a 24-hour gourmet pantry and rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV.
Score from 1768 reviews Very good
A 7-minute walk from Central Park, this Manhattan hotel features an on-site fitness center and rooms with city views. Times Square is just over half a mile away.
Score from 1451 reviews Very good
I thought that the convenience to the subway to be convenient and the various restaurants nearby were walkable.
The room temperature was way off and I had to have someone try to reduce the heat. It went up to 76 degrees.
Blanket was uncomfortable. Lack of teapot is a minus
Location and cleanliness
The only good thing was the bed and the location cause we wanted to stay close to the UN !
The staff were super rude from the moment I walked in. Don't expect them to say hi or welcome you or even help you with any issues. Taxes are charged for every single night and there's a long Q every time you need to speak to the front desk ! They don't take cash and they'll block extra $250 from your card which will not be back for weeks ! Not recommended due to the complicated policies and unfriendly staff .. I am not exaggerating, the staff never smiled and it felt like I was dealing with soldiers not women !
Location The room
The staff! Receptionist tried to charge us $300 a night even though our reservation clearly said $200 a night. Then she added city tax, state tax and a nightly rate which we were expecting but then she continued to charge an additional $50 deposit per room per night even though we were paying for our stay upon check in!!! Also the concierge tried to charge us $220 each for a Broadway ticket. We refused to pay and later got the same tickets for $37 direct from the box office. Don't stay here unless you want to be robbed!!
Hotel Personnel forcefully impede guests from getting into elevators unless they show room key. Never seen this before, very rude and impersonal. There's got to be a better way. Long lines at front desk any time of day. Feels like an airport terminal. Late check-in, early check-out policy, shouldn't it be other way around?

Lack of free Wi-Fi
Great location, easy walk to midtown attractions and Grand Central. Metro station very close. Nice rooms, comfortable and clean.
Expensive breakfast choice in hotel.
If you have a meeting in NYC's main business district -- Midtown East -- you can't do better. Better lobby / lounge facilties, it seems, than most of these narrow slice-of-avenue places.
Cramped rooms, poor temperature control, not much in the way of amenities. Notwithstanding the location in terms of convenience, no views -- the rooms look out on a side street and face an office building.
The hotel is easy to access from subway, E, M, 6 and within walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, lower-east of Central Park, UN..etc. I was in NYC for the New York Marathon and on the race day it's easy to get to the Ferry building, and easy to come back to after the race. I would recommend to travelers.
The Wi-fi is weak & slow, and room can be noisy at night(but this is NY) Breakfast is OK, hot food is not that great so that extra $8 for hot food is not worth it.
Upon arrival, I was handed two cookies and given my room key. I had to ask where it was and despite having stayed there twice before since 2006, I found the hotel looking tired and the "welcome" very very disappointing!
room and room services who where excellent also front desk who delt with the problem with my bill.
on check in was told i had been upgraded from a queen room to a king, was not happy when presented with the bill to find i had been charged at the king room price, front desk corrected it but felt the mistake should not have been made in the first place.
Good location and decent room. Great bed. Housekeeping was super fast with rollaway and very friendly throughout stay.
Almost $400/night and no coffee in room or lobby? Had to go next door at 5:00 AM & wait in LONG line for it??? Really Hilton??? Bar does not open until 5:00 on Sunday after NY marathon. Loads of guests milling around waiting for it to open. Nothing like a beer after a long run!
Location great hotel clean
Staff is little bit confuse and sad
Location. The bed was really comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The water in the bathroom sink went down slow. Didn't realize that the NY Marathon was taking place so it was extra crowded in the hotel.
Location and also the parking lot being available
Stains on comforter
We had just flown in from London and we were delighted to have such a comfortable bed. Good location for some great restaurants and not too far from central park.
Having to pay for Wi-Fi in the room. This is 2014 for goodness sakes! If pretty much every bar and restaurant can give it away I'm pretty sure these guys could.
THE LOCATION AND STAFF IS GREAT
YOU HAD TO PAY FOR WI-FI IN YOUR ROOM , BUT IT IS FREE IN THE LOBBY.
Nice building, nice rooms, big and comfy
There are not coffee and tea facilities in the room They charge you 2 dollars to keep your luggage in the storage (!!!!), which not even the most humble hotels do. For room service they charge 20% gratuity and, on top of that, they ask you for tip. I would not reccommend this hotelt o other people
Good location for Central Park, Bloomingdales, Macy's etc... Room small but clean.
Wifi was terrible and kept dropping. Staff not particularly helpful. Price was high but pretty usual by NY standards. Breakfast on Sunday was late opening (past 7.15am when it should have opened at 7.00).
The location, the hotel is clean and the staff are very nice.
The long line for check in and check out. Our sleep experience was very bad, the doors are not soundproofed, we could hear everything from the corridor and the next rooms.
The location and hotel rooms were great.
The hotel always seemed to be understaffed at the front desk which sometimes led to longer lines.
Great location and quite comfortable
Very expensive, but that's New York
Located at the corner of 51st St. and Lexington Ave, close to the Grand Central Station and very convenient. The room was overall clean and the bed was comfortable. The reception staffs very professional.
The building itself was old (can't ask more in middle of Manhattan!) and although the room was well refurbished the bathroom was small and out of date. A little expensive for the size.
Thank you for a great room! My mom and I were very satisfied. And thanks for valuable deals.
