christine the concierge was v helpful
wifi for 15 dollars a day room was too hot at night and thermostat didnt work properly
The cleaners were lovely
The television was absolutely dreadful!!
Overall everything with my stay was very good, the room was good, the stay and facilities very good, but most importantly the service i received was fantastic. I had an issue and left my passport in the room, which i did not discover until i was at the airport. I would like to say a massive thank you to Orlando in security who went out of his way to locat the passport and put this with a driver to the airport, and ensure i not only received my passport but made my flight. I would most definitely stay here again, as the staff really went the extra mile to help me out when i needed it. Thank you to Orlando and the team.
The effort of the staff to accommodate you, specially Ms. Silvia.
To be charged for luggage store.
Rooms next to the elevator subject to considerable noise. 1723
The location is great, rooms comfortable and clean.
Part of the Lobby/bar is Old, need a change.
awesome location, clean, comfortable
$15 a day for wifi, $2 to store a bag a few hours on the departing day... Felt like they charge for everything
Room was a good size and very clean, bed was extremely comfy and spacious, check out time of midday was perfect as meant we could relax before leaving the city. Also the warm cookies were a nice touch
Paid for Wifi for this caliber of hotel I think is wrong it should be free. Coffee facilities in the room would also have even nice. Bar closed bit too early for us we returned at midnight and it was closed had to go back out to find somewhere else to have a drink.
small room. no refrigerator!!
The only good thing about the hotel is the location
The personal was pretty rude. Not friendly at all. The handle of the shower got broken. It's a 4 star hotel and try didn't even have a mini bar in the room. The buffet for breakfast was very poor too.
Location and friendly staff. My request for a room above the 10th floor was made. And they also recommended a great florist (Starbright) in NY who did an amazing job!
Bed was small and uncomfortable. The queen bed was more like a full size bed. Tried calling the care line and front desk numerous times but no one ever answered.
I like that we were greeted with smiles and the lady at the front desk had excellent customer service. My experience was awesome the room was nice and clean. I plan to come back.
Very comfortable stay at a good location.
Rooms were small, little more space would have been great and there was a bit of commotion outside our door. Other than that, can't complain.
Staff very helpful good location clean and roomy
- Great location: in the 51st street, two blocks away from the Rockfeller Center and few blocks away from the Central Park. - Surroundings: metro station almost in front of it, it is surrounded by Cafes and restaurants so you can have a cheaper, yet good, breakfast. - Bar: nice bar in the Lobby. - Internet: free wi fi in the Lobby. - Service: Nice and helpful front desk staff. - Facilities: Lobby is very nice, rooms are quite new, good bed and with a very nice space for NY standards! Nice amenities in the bathroom. Cable TV and coffee maker in the room, good sound proof windows. - Deals: I got a nice weekend deal, paying a relatively low price for a superior room with free wi fi in the room. So it was a really great deal for the profile of the Hotel.
- Internet: in the room is not free, unless you´re HHonnors member or you get a good deal in your reservation. - Service: Paid and quite expensive breakfast. - Facilities: Corridors are aging. Rooms have heavy doors..
home away from home feeling
Perfect location to visit the city. Very close to subway, Times Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue. Clean and comfortable.
The location is excellent with easy access to N.Y. sights and lots of restaurants. The room was comfortable and larger than the average NYC hotel room.
All was fine!
Congested ground floor, breakfast not included
I was given a free upgrade to a Kingsize room on arrival which provided a very spacious and comfortable clean room for the week, The location is very central for most attractions and very handy for my NY office, I would recomend this hotel apart form the WIFI issue
No minibar a slight surprise, but no free WIFI other than in the (packed) Foyer is a massive drawback. If you are travelling alone and want to facetime your wife and kids or catch up on emails the lobby of a busy hotel is not ideal. Booking.com says "free WIFI in all areas" but thats not the case its $15 per day outside the foyer which is a ridiculous price to charge in this day and age and would stop me booking here again. I was a gunnea pig for other collegues visiting and working temporarily in NY and afraid will have to find altenative hotels going forward because of this petty WIFI issue. I had a room above the 8th Battery Fire Station and those brave guys come and go all night long obviously very noisily. Dont bother asking the doorman to reserve you an airport car, he may say he has but wont have.
The rooms were OK, but not that large
The receptionists were a bit arrogant, not welcoming especially the woman at the concierge
The location was good and the rooms were really comfortable.
The hotel double charged my card, they made it really hard to try and explain the problem which all started from the check in girl not explaining what she was doing. We were told by the manager that he would do something for us as compensation but that never happened.
