Waiting time. No view of the River as promised.
Close to everything
I didn't like the fact that I didn't have a microwave and refrigerator in my room. I wish there was continental breakfast
The closeness to the French Quarter. I also liked how my room was clean.
They charged us $189/night even though Booking.com was reserved for $99/night. They did correct and refund.
The location was ideal, easy in and out.
No bad experience but it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room as stated at booking.
What I liked most was that we were given a printed timeline of the surrounding activities and advice about what would be an ideal time to depart or return due to the activities going on. Very helpful!
Only complaint i have was that the water wasnt as hot as i would have liked. Nothing like a good HOT bath if you know what i mean.
Loved the scenery, along with location to all the shops and casino.
the first nite we had to call security 3 times because of half naked college kids screaming and running the halls and banging on our door.
it was very close to all the local touristy places
I've never had to pay extraodinary amounts to park at a hotel that I am paying to stay the night. $45.00 was a slap in the face, but you had to pay it because where else would you park. I think it's a shame for the hilton to make paying guests pay for something that should be automatically included!! I will never stay here again, and I will tell my business associates and friends of my encounter there.
The staff was somewhat friendly, room was clean.
Everything was GREAT!
Very nice staff.
The bathroom was entirely to small and the window had towels stuffed in it to catch condensation. The wall by window was all buckled. We had to wait 30 mins for valet to bring vehicle and another 20 minutes just to get out of the valet area because of cars just sitting there.
Due to the old air condition system the room had a weird smell and the windows won't open. Since the walls were thin and you could hear what was going on at the adjcent room.
Nice location. Friendly staff.
the first room that I was placed in had ot been cleaned. no towels dirty bath tub. beds had not been changed. My family and I had to be moved to another room. No towels in this room tub had to bee cleaned
the location and staff only. The manager was great and tried to fulfill all of my needs.
Would if preferred queen beds
No free wifi
Everything except the wifi, or lack thereof.
Bathrooms were very small there were no extra blankets provided. For $500.00 a night wish I would have had a better room.
The only thing I was disappointed in was that we were there to attend a Mardi Gras ball. We asked a member of valet to secure us a cab. He said he couldn't and we were forced to stand on a corner in the cold in ball gowns for almost 2 1/2 hours flagging a cab down! The Hilton Riverside already has cabs waiting for their guests. Being a Hilton property I expected getting a cab would be easier.
parking is too expensive for what you to pay to stay for 5 whole nights! next time we will not rent a car and save $180.00 dollars
It was the most rundown, and uncomfortable Doubletree I have ever visited. The bed was so soft that when you lay down you would roll off (had them get me a bedboard..Doubletree by Hilton should be ashamed!) Bathroom had no place for storage of any toiletries,.no shelf , no medicine chest, this hotel should have been totally renovated a long time ago(not just paint)...bad at any price.
LOCATION CLOSE TO BUSES ,staff was good and tried..
Room too small
Next door to the casino and just a couple blocks from Mother's Restaurant and French Quarter!
Had to move us to a different floor due to a noisy party group drinking and yelling out in hallway! So they charged us half price due to inconvenience.
Ac didn't work
every was great
Parking but as I said its the area your going to. Parking staff is quick and friendly though
The staff here was amazing. They helped with directions of places I had to be around New Orleans and were very friendly. Everything was close so there were numerous times I could walk to appointments. Parking is expensive, but in all its expensive everywhere in the area. Great experiance. Great folks.
