Waited 2 hours for our room to be ready. Backed up valet parking. They were completely in prepared for guest arrival. And I don't recall an I'm sorry from check in clerk.
Location is great - walking distance to French Quarters. Free warm cookie at arrival and when you ask for it.
Noisy plumbing kept me awaken at night. Very strong smell of cleaning products in corridors and in the room
the location is great. french quarter, warehouse district and river just next door. boys at valet parking were nice.
receptionists, both at check-in and check-out somewhat arrogant. lady at check-out desk didn't even bother to ask about my stay. better. it was aweful! never slept so badly. room small, bathroom a joke, my closet is bigger, noisy. 38 usd for parking. wlan costs 12 usd... that's simply a rip off. place not worth the money!
They gave warm cookies that were tasty. And they did give a discount after numerous complaints. But the check in crew didn't care.
Check in was very late. When I shared my concerns they told me to take it up with booking.com also the air didn't work we slept horribly due to that. I felt it was the motels concern not booking.com. I'm not sure about staying at doubletree and for sure will not in New Orleans.

Staff was rude and unhelpful if you were not a Hilton honors member.
Staff were lovely and friendly. Location is excellent - across the street from a shopping mall, less than 5 minute walk to the outlet and French Quarter.
Not as modern as other Hiltons but very clean and comfortable.

The beds were the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel. I loved the location; it was walking distance to everything. I liked that our car was safe. They gave us a city map and explained our destinations our location, it was very helpful.
The parking didn't have enough people working for it to move quicker. It was $$ pricey for the parking. It would've been nice to have a little free continental breakfast, or something.
The stay here with absolutely amazing. The location is phenomenal. And the staff went above and beyond during our stay.
Valet is way to high
THE STAFF WAS SO AWESOME ALL THE WAY FROM VALET TO HOUSEKEEPING.. I'M READY TO COME BACK!!!!
Took this trip with 2 grandchildren, it was perfect location. Every person from the valet to desk was so friendly an helpful. We will definitely stay there again

The $38 a night to park was overpriced.
We thought we were going to stay in 4* hotel, but definitely it is not. The bathroom was too small and was adapted for kids. Not confortable at all. The room was noisy and the carpet worn.
The location is good to be able to walk around. Right across the street from the river walk and cruise terminal.
We requested early check-in. We arrived about 1pm and they didn't have a room available due to them being sold out the day before. I understand that we couldn't check-in early. The clerk said they would call when a room was available early and that we could go out and about if we would like. Well, we never got that call. We went back at 3pm, check-in time, and they told us they STILL didn't have us a room. UNACCEPTABLE. Regardless of being sold out or not, we paid to have a room ready at 3pm. The clerks at the desk didn't go out their way to make it better for us either.
The bellman, housekeeping & vallet were the BEST things about thus hotel.
1st. The H/C rooms are no where big enough for a wheelchair or scooter. 2nd. The bathroom in the H/C room is a joke. My reservation was for 2 nights & I changed rooms 3 times. I couldn't handle the accommodations after 1 night so I had to make my husband drive 150 miles to stay the 2nd night with my girls. If this is a 4* Hilton I will NEVER stay at a Hilton again. This property thinks by offering us a free breakfast buffet & 50% off one night was enough. Not in my opinion. Word of advise, don't book here.

I checked in and when I got to my room it hadn't been clean. The staff apologized and offered another room but I elected to keep the same room so they came and cleaned it immediately.
