Good facilities and location (subway stations nearby)
Both nights I was woken up by a supposed member from the hotel offering towels, very very weird. Could not sleep after that.
Everything was great, the room is clean the stuff is nice, the location is good.
There are three elevators for the whole building (including stuff), so sometimes you need to wait for over 20 minutes to get one. If you are young with suitcases you can use the steps, otherwise prepare to wait.
Something had gone wrong with my last minute booking, but they were exceptionally good in solving the issue, and ensuring I got the right room at the agreed price. Even got the (normally charged) wifi for free as compensation. Really nice room, and very good coffee facilities in the room.
The number of elevators is limited, which is a bit of a problem around check out time. In the weekend, the area does not have many open restaurants nearby.
The hotel was clean and comfortable; staff was friendly and helpful. They have baggage storage
The location was far from everything we wanted to see. Room was a bit small
Great location relative to Statue of Liberty/Ground Zero, cute historic neighborhood & subway stop, very friendly desk staff, attractively decorated & perfectly utilized space in room. Comfy bed... or was it simply that we were exhausted from two perfect days in NYC? Probably both. We would happily return to this hotel.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, quiet, business centre is free to use, free cookies! Buffet breakfast is delicious and varied, Whitehall subway station is only a 30 scond walk away.
Elevators can take up a lot of your time - sometimes up to 15 minutes waiting for an elevator to arrive at your floor.
Location near Subway
Sleep interrupted by slamming doors.
next to wall street / brooklyn; rooms are nice;
no problems at all
The privacy of the rooms. It didnt seem like there were many guests on each of the floors
Location was excellent. Lovely hotel staff were very helpful and was very close to attractions such as the liberty island ferry and city bus tours.
Didn't like the fact you had to pay daily for wifi. Most hotels now a days offer free wifi.
The water was cold for two days
very good location, nice room
Need more elevators! usual waiting for elevator to come was 5-10 minutes...
Location, subway commute, decent rooms.
Busy elevators , no free wifi,
Good location with easy transport. Near a nice bar and restaurant area as well as some major tourist sites. Staff were friendly.
We loved that the hotel was very clean, really nice! And in a great location. We never had to travel far to get to anything. The room was a great size and very modern and well kept. We had an excellent sleep every night
The hotel was a little pricey, would have liked to have found something a little cheaper for the stay. Also the staff didn't seem very pleasant (at the front desk). Staff at the main entrance were amazing! Great customer service there.
Very welcoming staff, real close to a couple of subways that can take you anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn quickly. Stone Street is a 3 min walk away and it is great if you want to go out for the night and have some drinks without making the ride in town. Definitely worth checking out one night. Ubers from uptown never cost me more than $20 either. Rooms were small but you don't go to new York to hang out in your hotel. The financial district is almost a ghost town at night so you get to return and sleep in a very quiet place which is nice after a day uptown.
The elevator situation is a headache sometimes since there is only three for 40+ floors, and my king size room+bathroom was the size of my bedroom back home.
The location was close to my office in NY so very convenient. It was very clean and comfortable. The king room was a good size for a NYC hotel. Although I did not eat there, the hotel resturant looked top notch and diners seemed very satisfied. I would definitley eat there the next time I visit. The hotel was close to subway stations which made getting around the city easy. The area was very quiet at night which was fine for me.
I loved the location..minutes from bowling green station the room was cosy and comfortable room service was good the staff was very professional and accommodating
the room was a bit small but practical
The room was too small. The hotel staff did not try to help. I also requested 2 rollaways. The front desk simply said we don't have it. After asking for bigger room they simply said we do not have it again. I ask them to find my hilton number and put it under my reservation. Again the front desk clerk said he cannot find it. Very unprofessional and not accommodating at all. Will not stay again.
The room was very clean.
Location and very clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and modern furniture.
I received a cookie upon check-in. A small bag with 2 water bottles. Free wifi instructions The room appointments felt luxurious. I liked being on a higher floor (35). It was located about 500 ft from both the subway and my work location. The business center didn't charge for internet access or printing.
It's confusing when you walk in as to where the registration/check in area is (it's on the second floor and you have to take the elevator up, no signage) they do have a person at the door but they are sometimes otherwise engaged. My cookie was not fresh, hard and crumbly. It's in an area that seems to close up fairly early, the Duane Reade on the corner closed at 8, weird. It's hard to get a cab at night.
Close to subway stations, 3 min away battery park, 10 min from 9/11 museum. Nice staff, clean and modern room, free document printing, close to many restaurants, nice bathroom
Our AC drain system broke and some part of the carpet was soaking wet. It happened an hour before our checkout. They apologized for it. It was not a big deal.
They give u cookies when you check in Close to the green metro line stop bowling hall.
Super slow elevator You have to pay for the internet connection (crazyy) We found a pair of slip in the wardrobe room!!!they didn't clean that space. Not worth the price No breakfast included
