I loved the location..minutes from bowling green station the room was cosy and comfortable room service was good the staff was very professional and accommodating
the room was a bit small but practical
The room was very clean.
Location and very clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and modern furniture.
Close to subway stations, 3 min away battery park, 10 min from 9/11 museum. Nice staff, clean and modern room, free document printing, close to many restaurants, nice bathroom
Our AC drain system broke and some part of the carpet was soaking wet. It happened an hour before our checkout. They apologized for it. It was not a big deal.
This is your basic DoubleTree. Nothing fancy but serviceable.
Elevator service is extremely poor. Only two of three were working and in the mornings the staff are using the elevators to go about their work which means guests must use the stairwell if you want to get anywhere on time.
The people at the reception were really confused and inefficient. I booked a second room in booking.com two day before the arrival but they couldn't find it. I have always experienced long waiting times.
The location is great and the staff is very friendly. Within walking distance of many attractions including the subway to get uptown or wherever you need.
We had on several occasions the power go out.
the service is good，they are very friendly，the room is not huge，but feel s like home，perfect for me traveling alone
the cookies are too sweet，the TV is hard to turn on，so I give up watching TV
Close to public transport.
No free cookies to take in the evenings :-(
Nice clean room, good for the price
Messed up our room reservation, management and staff didn't care that it happened because it was booked by third party. Told me to call third party to complain. They did nothing to apologize for the error - treated like second class citizen and were rude and stubborn to boot!
I found a good deal- especially for New York City- so it was okay. I would give it 3 of 5 stars. The good: -the cookie was a nice touch -The room was actually a good size, especially for NY. -The bed was comfortable -Shower was hot -Right by the subway -Clean -Decent sized gym- free weights, pulley machine, 2 ellipticals, 3 treadmills, bike
The bad: -Check-In took a while. They only had two people checking people in with a line of customers -Only 3 elevators for a 44 floor building. Allow some waiting time into your schedule. -Some wall paper peeling and little signs of wear and tear -There is a hold placed on debit/credit cards of $150 that I don't remember reading about or being told about. It comes off about two days after you check out.
Well appointed room, internet access, great location, and good value
The physical process for check in is confusing -- and the elevator situation is annoying
the hotel is close to the wall street's bull and the ferry for the statue of liberty. it also has the express subway stop nearby. the room was great although not so cheap.
we booked a double room with two beds and they gave us a room with a double bed claiming that the misunderstanding was due to the booking system of booking.com however, they gave us premium wifi for free
Warm greetings, friendly staff, and very clean room!
I think they should add fridges and microwaves to every room.
The room was nice and the staff was friendly.
My suitcase was damaged when in the storage area before we were able to check in.
Polite staff Clean rooms Good bed
Very small rooms even for a solo traveler Long waits for the elevator Location
Quiet, close to subway, clean, modern, comfortable. I would say it has an "excellent" location, but only if you want to be close to the Financial District.
The room was clean, beautifully decored, the bed was awesome, u fall asleep the minute ur head touches the pillow! Beautiful bathroom, with excellent acoustics for shower singing! And I can't forget the cookies, oh they were out of this world, and the staff suplied them so generously, as if they were growing on a tree:))) thanks, and hope to stay with you soon!
Good price, great location, very close to the subway, nice view to the One WTC in the night, fairly clean and comfortable.
A bit noisy during the night.
The elevator is very slow
We had a beautiful view
Long wait for the elevator
It was great to stay at the 38th floor with an excellent view on One World Trade center. The staff, although a little impersonal, was helpful, allowing us to overstay for almost 2 hours. Delightful welcome pastries (cookies). Nothing exceptional at breakfast.
There was no complimentary WiFi in the room, only in the lobby on the second floor and in the restaurant. Even for european standards the room was very small, albeit with a large bed. The crowdiness is perhaps acceptable for lower Manhattan.
I was achieving mission impossible and the staff helped me like no other staff from any hotel I've stayed at would ever have. All staff was friendly and helpful to the last minute.
They charged me twise for the daily damage coverage, by "accident". Charged for wifi... I mean really? I know manhattan means money,money,money... But damn...
Location, room comfortable
Another couple was booked into our room and tried to enter while we were in the room. No apology from the staff or any acknowledgement of the error!
