Good staff, comfortable bed.
Sometimes there is cooking smell in the room from the Stone street
Booking's price was amazing. It was a Double Tree. The subway is fifty yards away. The price allowed for a better show, great meals, and encouragement to stay out of Times Square.
Not a thing.
-the location is top, busy daytimes, chilled nighttimes -a enormous variety of shops around the hotel
- really small entrance facilities - fitness studio could be bigger
Very cold, tried to call reception to ask about temp, phones didn't work, and we waited for elevators for a long time (up to 10 mins) regularly. WiFi only free in the lobby. Bed was only a twin.
The A/C didn't work even under such chilly weather. The water tap in the bathroom cannot supply water with stable temperature.
Excellent location with easy access to subway. Numerous restaurants around the hotel.
Bellboy tried to rip us off, when ordering a taxi. Arranged a private car that charged 30% more. Heating system ancient. Heating with aircondition, which is being shut off by room service so when you come back to the room it is freezing. "Italian" Restaurant Antinori is a rip off. After charging 20% of service charge they expect another 20% tip otherwise they do not even tell you goodbye.
View from window
The hotel was great . Booking.com changed locations from original choice I originally picked midtown for some reason booking .com changed it wasn't cool :(
Nice view from the top floor, 44th!! They keep giving out lovely warm cookies and they are delicious. Lovely staff.
Room was freezing, 454. Had hanged to 4206 which was fine.
It's a nice hotel to stay just 2-3 nights no more than that. Very clean and nice bed.
We ordered Salmon and chicken with roasted potatoes and it came the salmon with broccoli and the chicken by itself. When I called to tell them I asked for the potatoes they told me they didn't have. It was $70. Well they should have told me before, not bringing the food with the meat only and charge me all that.
Location is superb. 2 min to bull, NYSE, 5 min to ferries and 9/11 memorial.
Room extremely small. Couldn't find place to open bag. Bath was not prepared after previous guest. Very unpleasant. But the worst part is climate. Each room has separate air conditioner which sounds like a hell. And you can't switch it off as windows are so old that wind comes through them. Thus your room freezes after 3 min without heating.

Bed was comfortable
Booked a King sized bed room when we got there they wanted to give my friend and I a full sized bed. He's 6'2 that was not going to work out. We had to wait for the manager to come unlock a room luckily they had a king left. The shower needs to be more pressurized. The heat is stupid it's motion activated.
When we arrived the room was not ready. Next day the hot water was absent. Was promised a free breakfast as a compensation, but the guy who promised it forgot to write the promise down and I had to ask the reception once more for them to deliver on their commitment. Next day they put only one towel into the room for two. Worst hotel and worst price/experience ratio in years.
The bed was billed as a queen but in fact was a double - perfectly adequate and comfortable, so why lie? The room was clean.
So-called free WiFi only available in the lobby; in your room it's $9/hour!! Elevators quite inadequate so you have to allow up to 10 minutes to get to or from your room. The heating unit is incredibly noisy and the controls don't work. I won't stay there again.
The only that I liked about the Hotel was the bed and the view.
The room was tiny and I had to check out the Hotel early because there was no hot water.
Clean, tidy and reasonable size rooms with all facilities normally expected. Friendly staff. Good location for our needs.
Poor elevator service with totally unacceptable waits of 10 mins or more at times. TV basic (OK) but no on-screen guide to channels but we rarely viewed. Unhappy to pay compulsory tax on mid town leisure facilities when not even told about them. Formal complaint will be lodged.
Nothing, the building is in a small and dark street, pills of garbage, no on site parking, offside parking too expensive, no free wifi, we didn't use any wifi yet they accused us of using and charged us.. Very rude front desk, restaurant is dirty and the waiters are so lazy, not to mention that their uniform was filthy. Worst hotel experience ever.. Not a 4 star hotel, not even as Gog as an average motel.

Very rude front desk, restaurant is dirty and the waiters are so lazy, not to mention that their uniform was filthy. Rooms was so tiny, no room to even stand. We didn't have hot water for half the time, ridiculous!! Worst hotel experience ever.. Not a 4 star hotel, not even as Gog as an average motel.
Proximity to metro, attractively decorated lobby with business center, spacious room, helpful and courteous staff, view, breakfast.
The location is fantastic. In the quieter part of NYC but still in a very exciting part of the city closer to the seaport, subway station, decent amenities, good restaurant
Narrow corridoors, Rooms are small but I guess that's NYC size, check in was delayed and slow, elevators are painfully slow and may sometimes take up to 20 mins to get one (not necessarily every time), staff despite their best intentions may not be swift in responding to requests.
Take time to get lift. Housekeeping is slow service. They missed tow time to make room clean. Overcharged accommodation fares.
I liked everything about this place. Great location and close to the train station which u can travel to the four boroughs.. Manhattan,Bronx,Queens,Brooklyn. Feels like home
Close to subway, good breakfast, nice staff, good price compare to other hotels on the area
Our gifts were stolen from the bags in room. Although we did not request cleaning that day(was not made as requested) someone was entered the room and took the watches ( not other things, interesting) be carefull!!
I loved the cookies, they were excellent
Didn't like the fact that i was paying $140 per night and i still had to pay for wifi
I had an issue with the bill and they fixed it immediately with no hasstle. They gave my boyfriend all the cookies he wanted. The bed was super comfy. We had a beautiful view.
The elevator took awhile but was not a big deal for me.
