Score from 784 reviews Excellent
The location was good, room size was decent considering it's in a downtown hotel.
Absolutely disappointed that WiFi was not free. Rooms are so close together that my bed would vibrate every time a door would close in the room next to us.
Excellent under any point of view
I was going to see a concert at Wells Fargo. The receptionist wrote out the instructions and the train was right outside your front door!!
That the WIFI was not free. It may affect my decision next time or at least price it into the cost of the hotel.
Good location, well equipped gym.
Would expect free internet, elevators are so loud they woke me up eventhough my room was 5 rooms away from the elevators.
The room itself was great! Spacious and cozy. Best shower I've ever had in a hotel room.
First off, the biggest reason I chose this hotel was for the pool. I was already wary before arriving because I had seen other reviewers describing the pool as too cold to swim in, and that the excuse given was they had just added water. I stayed for 2 nights, and wouldn't you know the pool was freezing every time I tried to swim, and the maintenance man gave me the same excuse. If you have an indoor pool in the winter time, it should be heated much better than it was. I could have saved money going somewhere else that didn't have a pool, since I was unable to enjoy it! Also, the heat in the room was poorly regulated. It would heat up to temperature then begin blasting cold air. (Also something I read in a review, but figured it must have been a fluke) And finally, my bill was much higher than I anticipated. My booking amount was for $220, but even after calculating parking and the stated 15% tax, I still cannot figure out how it came to $350! I was not given a receipt of any kind upon check-out, and we did not ask to have Wi-Fi, so I have no way of determining how they arrived at that amount. All in all I was happy with the room and location, but dissatisfied with the overall service. The cookie is nice, though.
- 24th floor corner room - location - comfy bed
Very accommodating staff. Megan at the front desk had a warm smile and I knew the trip would be a success right off the bat. The complimentary welcome cookies were delicious! We ordered a bunch of pizzas for the room, and the bar staff allowed us to borrow 10 plates and silverware! Everyone was very helpful
The room was a little musty. A fragrant carpet deodorant will help.
The location, the facilities
I am told breakfast is not included, but after double check based on my request, I am told it is included.
The staff was really helpful with all requests.
The plates we so hot, I almost dropped it when getting Breakfast.
Nice room, great location, the standard you would expect from a DoubleTree. The level of comfort does not disappoint and everything looks as it has to be for a reasonable price.
It took me a while to get WiFi up and running, quite unusual these days. It does not seem to excel at anything in particular. Very predictable, but this could be ok for a business trip.
I really liked the breakfast inclusion.
The staffer for the Executive Suite breakfast was slow to put out warm saussge, croissants and did NOT clean off the limited table areas.
was able to print off tickets at the front desk
No free wi fi
Very nice room; comfortable bed; great view
Fee for room wi-fi; seems low class
The room was perfect for what we needed...so close to the restaurants, theater and shopping and a great price
Took a while for the room to warm up..
Friday night front desk staff was not very friendly. I had an issue with the rate they were trying to charge me and the woman that was assisting me walked away from me several times while I was talking to refer to her manager. It was resolved and the manager gave me a pass for their breakfast buffet, but I would've had a better meal at McDonald's. The eggs were too wet, the hashbrowns were soggy, the bacon and sausage was over-cooked. They were short staffed and rushing around. I had to request creamer for my coffee and after waiting several minutes I got up and borrowed some from another table.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bellmen were excellent!!
Service and menu in the O restaurant was very much sub par. The service in the balcony restaurant was much better, but the food was subpar.
The room was so nice in comfortable.i loved the view at night.
old carpet cause allergy air condition extremely blow in wrong position
Corner room had great view. Front desk receptionist had a caring attitude. Because of the extreme cold, she tried to get us a reservation at a restaurant closer to the hotel.
Disappointed that they charged for Wifi service. It was free in the lobby, but come on...who wants to sit in the lobby?
I loved the bed and how cute the room was. Also their delicious cookies.
I hated that they did not have wifi. Also how much money we had to spend. There was to much noise going on though.
I love the bed and bathroom
The room service is very expensive even when the food on the menu is saying cheap prices they charge you all these extra fees
Friendliness of staff. Location. Great views of Broad Street from upper floors. Numerous stores and resturants within walking distance.
Hallway lighting a little dim.
