Staff and facilities were great.
Having to come home from our honeymoon from Maui to the Seattle/Victoria weather
Close to airport
The price of the breakfast was exhorbitant.
We liked the setting.
Very strong air freshener throughout the hotel. Very old hotel. Paid $99 plus a $25 fee for parking. Would have only paid $79.
It is very clean, comfortable and convenient. The free shuttle to the mall is very helpful and of course the cookies are fabulous.
I had a dirty shower curtain, but they came immediately and replaced it.
Nice rooms, and pleasant layout. Feels like a resort.
We ended up at the farthest room in the longest corridor in the farthest wing of the hotel. I've never experienced a room where I had such an incredibly long walk to get to it from the lobby. It was quite though. :)
Cleanliness, courteous staff, and all-around pleasant stay.
It is a large hotel so plan on walking a ways to your room.
Room very comfortable an large
Good location to airport.
This hotel has seen better days. My first room smelled so bad I asked for a second. It was Holloween night..young people in costumes were running up and down the halls until 2:am..I did call the desk at 1:00 am. Would never return to this hotel..
The location was great. The room was comfortable.
From the front desk, we had to walk a long distance to reach our room. We had a difficult time finding the room and we were carrying our own luggage.
Excellent shuttle service.
Close to Seatac. Easy access via Very quick at checking out. Van drivers very courteous. Would stay there again.
Van was very crowded so check in slow because only 2 people at checkin desk. Hotel has 4 wings and locating room can be challenging plus a long walk.
My room was downright frigid. No matter how high I turned up the heat the room never heated up above 62 degrees with outside temps dipping into the 30's. I am all for heat conservation, but my night at this hotel was not very pleasant.
The time it took for the water to become hot from the hot water tap.
We were charged to park our car for the night.
Convenience, helpfulness of staff
It was my favorite room on my short trip to the PNW - even beating out a pricy boutique hotel in Tacoma. The room was big and clean. The shower head was awesome and the bed was comfy. I even loved the hair dryer. A good hair dryer is a rarity in any hotel. There's a Starbuck's and a restaurant in the lobby. Great shuttle service to the airport. The staff were exceptionally nice. For the price - it was a steal!
I had a flight at 7am and took first shuttle at 540a, big group, made my flight. My husband had a 950am flight, got to lobby at 830a, shuttle didnt show up till 9a. Then driver got out and went inside for 10 minutes. Made it to airport at 9:20a. Alaskan ticketing would not let him chec in..... too late. He had to wait till 11am for airbus to Yakima, WA (only 2 flights a day). All because Doubletree Shuttle was not ontime. Would like refund as we lost the flight $$$
Everything about the room.
checking in and out of the parking lot was irritating
I so close to airport that you could not even here the planes coming and going and it was still quite in my room.
Quiet comfortable room in the tower, much better than on my first visit. The Thai restaurant opposite was excellent. Also note that generally, unless you have a huge amount of luggage it is quicker to walk to the terminal than wait for the shuttle which only runs every 20 minutes and because of the road system has to take a long route round.
A little pricey.
Good location, nice room excepting the sound proofing, good breakfast
Unfortunately we had a drunk and very loud guest on one side at night and a barking dog on the other in the morning which meant we didn't get a very good nights sleep. I suspect this was due to the Broncos Vs. Seahawks match the next day however I think the hotel could have done more to rectify and it certainly shouldn't allow dogs. Also a little expensive given the experience.
It was close to the airport
Everything. Checking was slow, parking is expensive, facility is old and dark, rooms are small and extremely noisy. Needs updating badly. Wouldn't stay there again.
