The midnight receptionist on the night we stayed was rude and did not want to be bothered.
Comfy beds. Staff at desk on midnight shift did not want to be bothered. Told desk in morning, and they were truly sorry. It was a credit to them, and I hope to stay there again.
Close to restaurants and the airport.
Noise in hallway
Closeness to airport
Overall Cleanliness was poor and mildew type odor in room.
No elevators in the parking garage
Comfort of the bed
View of construction out of window
Staff was very friendly and accommodating
The employee that checked me out was over the top rude, she told me I could not have a receipt initially because I booked thru a 3rd party after arguing with me she printed me out a receipt. The overall facility was OK but the carpet throughout the hotel was filthy
Location & hotel was decent
person was not helpful and rude
TOO MUCH NOISE/ THIN WALLS
We arrived late to the Hotel and check in was quick and easy. Our room was very clean. Staff was accommodating to all requests. For example: we wanted to use the hot tub but it was filled will a group of teenagers….10 minutes prior to closing up the pool/tub. The Manager, Enrique was wonderful. Although he was getting ready to close up the pool and hot tub, we asked if we could use the hot tub for 5 minutes given the circumstances of our late arrival and overabundance of people in the hot tub preventing our use. He was very accommodating and allowed us a 5 minute relaxation in the tub and provided us with 4 breakfast passes. Very much appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.
It rained the entire time we were in Tampa, wanted to rent a movie and they no longer allow movie rentals over the TV. The printer in the computer room didn't work very well to print off boarding passes. Took forever to get towels by the pool, we called 4 times. No refrigerator in room, I feel for the price we should have had one. The other Double Trees we stayed at had free am coffee too.
The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The bellmen were very helpful and friendly also. Our rooms were clean and the pool area was clean and the pool was perfect temperature. Airport shuttle was excellent and great location to everything.
The price for this hotel is a little high compare to other 3 stars hotel I stay in Florida and other places I used to stay. No free continental breakfast, room is small, bathroom is too small, and no air ventilation install in the bathroom.
The good thing about this hotel is, because it is near to most of the attractions in Tampa.
Location excellent for shopping And for Raymond James Stadium Room was lovely ... Bed extremely comfortable Staff were very friendly and very helpfully Breakfast was very good !
comfortable, close to airport and shuttle runs early in morning!!
That they double charged my debit card and messed up my account.
Construction for my view
Clean, quiet and easy to find Nice lounge
When we arrived a hold of $50 was put on my card for incidental s we only stayed 1 night but the hold was still on my card 8 days later. I emailed and got a response saying it must b my bank the hotel would always releas the hold but it was released after that. Hotel is ok but needs a refresh rooms felt a bit dated
Have stayed in w doubletree before and the beds are so comfy.
The breakfast that was offered was good, but way to expensive. With that price I can have steak and eggs at I hop. Other than that everything was wonderful. Will definitely stay again. Will just have breakfast somewhere else.
I liked everything the staff was great, Enrique, and marsel were very hospitable along with everyone else. The water with fruit at the lobby was great.
Dirty carpets - no parking
Elevators are far from the front desk, making every trip to the room more difficult than it ought to be.
Housekeeping staff was very helpful. Front desk and shuttle staff also provided good support. It's a busy property, but staff made a woman traveling alone feel important and secure.
Our room was horrible first my view was a stone wall , i can't see nothing from my 226 room just a wall ,the bathroom smell horrible all the time , the a/c never working they fixed the day before to check out and even was hot the room
The staff awesome so helpfull and patricia was awesome every single day.
Had to wait an hour for pool towels, room key didn't work 3 different times, the hotel room looked like it hasn't changed since the 1970's. Right next to the free way that was under construction all day and night so it was restless sleeping. And they call themselves a hilton...never again will hilton get my money! parking garage had no elevators, had to go down 5 flights on stairs with 6 luggage bags
Nothing, the cookie was even stale at check in
My room had lights that did not work. The clock was not set, and I was unable to set it. In the halls, there were food trays (with food) that we're not picked up till the next day. Al these discrepancies were notified to the night manager and she immediately had someone pick up the trays and replace the light bulbs. She was apolologetic about all the inconveniences but fixed all the issues. The next day(we stayed for six nights), echen we went for breakfast and asked the cook for over medium eggs but more well done than undercooked, he made fun by saying that well done was for steaks not eggs. I really don't appreciate people make fun of me, in particular, when I, m paying for a service. My overall experience was not that great in comparison with other Hilton family hotels. I am a loyal HH member and expect the best. Would I recommend this place, most likely not. Dissappointed.
Loudest room air conditioner I have ever experienced that constantly changed tones. Elevators smelled like cheap cologne. Loudest sports bar ever!
Cookie at checkin
I was hoping for a microwave. In the room.
