There is not control about the people who get inside the hotel because of the rear doors
The closness to the lobby area and the cleanliness and quietness.
Breakfast was minimal choices and looked disgusting.
- close proximity to downtown (walking distance) - free fast wifi in rooms
- free breakfast was aweful - I avoided it - unmotivated staff - I found smelly and dirty clothes from a former guest in my room
Staff was nice and helpful
Needs updating carpet worn
Requested a king size bed was given one much smaller. But we still fit comfortably just was expecting a little more.
Good location. Good price.
Woke up by a wrong call at 6.30am from the staff. The housekeeping doesn't respect the "privacy please sign on the door" The staff called us aggressively 2 times to make sure we were leaving the room on time. 10:20 & 10:40. (For a checkout at 11). The cleanness of the room was OK but the rest of the hotel was really not good. Won't stay there in the future.
Inexpensive. Though cheap is more descriptive.
Felt dodgy. Underground carpark dirty & abandoned car on top carpark.
It was very clean
It was an older hotel.
When we check out!
1. didn't like the dirty old carpet. 2. TV and lamp were unplugged. 3. the smell of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room and floor hallway. 4. lack of customer service. 5. poor quality and choices of continental breakfast. 6. elevator door opened to view the laundry facility room. 7. WI-FI connection was very low and terrible.
Coffee in breakfast room
The number of key cards I had to go through to make my door work and to no avail. Lock was broken. clock didnt work and in 5 days was never replaced.
it was very clean and real close to all functions that was required for us.
not a thing
Close to the downtown core
Hotel is due for a facelift, rugs are tired and smell, rooms ok but not great
Close enough to the light rail to get to town. Has the basics. Good to have a small fridge and a desk.
A gluten free option for breakfast would be helpful (eg rice cakes and packaged cheese). Would be helpful to have a local map of what there is within walking distance to help orientation. Need better lighting in the room to work.
for older motel it was good
needed bigger & more bath towels
Staff was rude & unorganized. Lost my registration twice.
The night staff was rude & uncaring.
Close to events we were attending. Price was right. Not the worst room I've stayed in during 2014.
Could have been maintained better. Breakfast was sub par for the cost. Beds were a bit old.
good price...good location...
beds hard as rocks...old and worn interiors...slow plumbing...no early bird coffee
Close proximity to the State House where I watched Nicki Bluhm, only two blocks away.
Downtown traffic, but that isn't their problem...
Room was nice. A bit pricey for the location.
A bit noisy. Staff was not efficient with monitoring conduct and sound.
the friendly service i got after a indecent that happened. the staff was very friendly.
dirty and old lousy breakfast
This budget hotel is a nice place to stay. It's close to the airport (a 10 minute taxi ride). The staff was really friendly. The room was big enough and included a big LCD TV set. The bathroom includes the toilet and bath tub. The sink is adjacent - but outside - the bathroom. There is wi-fi coverage throughout the whole hotel. If you're planning a short stay in Salt Lake City and don't mind a modest accommodation, this may definitely be the place for you.
The hotel is old and the walls seem thin (I didn't hear any noise from my neighbors, though). Room cleaning was good but I could still find a few hairs in the room. Breakfast is simple - toasts, cake, muffins, cereals, milk and coffee - but you can have as much as you want and everything tastes good.
