The location is fantastic.

Definitely overpriced for the quality of my room. The room felt worn and many of the finishes feel cheap and cheesy. Very disappointing for a $500+ a night room. The worst part was their internet went down and I had no connection until it was time to check out. They offered no compensation to a situation which caused huge embarrassment with my client! The hotel is trying to be hip and trendy but I think they cut corners and instead it lacks quality. Overall disappointment.

As a regular customer at the dream it's always great to go back. I love the combination of the location, facilities and sophistication.

I hate it when the rooftop (PH-D) is outsourced. Guests of this pretty expansive hotel should be allowed to the rooftop with their guests at any time and not sent to "the line" to get a stamp from the doorman. Personally I get the stamp everytime but I saw some upset guests who had to pay 1500$ for a table on a Wednesday night. Ridiculous. Too bad the Dream management don't do anything about it, I can see how the dream can transform into a nightmare easily.

We had a great time. We were in town for a concert and Madison Square Garden and it was perfectly situated. We dined at the restaurant before we went out and the food was very good. Our waiter was excellent but we were also dining before the crowd. After the concert we even indulged in going out to the Rooftop Club and had a great time. I think the next time I go back I would book a night when the weather is nicer and can get use of the outdoor pool.

I loved it all but I would let you know that it is pricey.

Location of the hotel is amazing. Very close to art district, night clubs, nice restaurants. My favorite district for staying in nyc. Atmosphere of the lobby and roof bar at night time is amazing. Its is full every night. And also the cocktails are very good. Design of the hotel is authentic.

House keeping was insufficient, I stayed 9 days but every time we asked for hand towels. And I think they don't condescend to use vacuum cleaner, because floor was very dirty while we checked in. I stayed in queen room and room was not big enough, there was no enough space to move. Room phone and bedroom light break down by itself and sometimes working, sometimes does not work, but technical team was very helpful. Bathrooms does not have shower faucet, I think this is an important detail. Elevators works with room card but we faced with problem every time, that system was really incommodious. In the lobby and roof bar music genre was all same (r&b and old school), maybe they can do special days for different music genres...

The decor and restaurant

You should be guaranteed entrance into the club no matter what time if you are paying $500 to stay there. I wasn't denied entrance but i also didn't think I should wait in a ridiculously long line to get into the club in a hotel where I am a guest.

The rooms are way too small. Noisy at night. Internet is very slow in the rooms. Basically, the hotel is overpriced & hardly a good value for money. The location is great though.

The gym, the room, the pool , everything was to my liking..... Overall I lived this hotel .

We could not have an early check in. Price was a bit high as well

the Dream is in a excellent location, and has a young hip vibe. Weekend nights have plenty of partying going on, not the best choice for kids.

Fantastic location

There is a club located in the hotel that is very loud and gets very crowded.

It was new and very fun and cool. The shower was amazing, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the location is great with proximity to amenities

This was not a child-friendly location. The entrance had people making out blocking the door. Nobody was there to help with luggage. The lobby was a club when we came in. couldn't hear the front desk. Needed a white noise maker in the room to drown out the thumping of the club. I would not bring my children back to this hotel. I would return to this hotel if I was in town to party.

It's a super cool hotel, super trendy an chic!

I couldn't sleep because my room was on top of the Club so music was loud.

Took my wife there for her 50th birthday and were greeted by a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on ice waiting for us in the room. A wonderful touch! Though a bit pricey, it's a very cool hotel with a very friendly staff.

Everything. The staff treats you like you are not good enough to be staying at the hotel, you are unable to get into the hotel clubs after a certain hour - even if you are staying in the hotel, the communication between staff members just doesnt exist, causing constant confusion between the customer and the staff members, the drinks are crazy over priced, the room is the size of a closet, there are overhead lights attached to the bed that are so low it looks comical - they sit on the pillows basically, the bathroom door has a hole in the door as the "door knob" but it gives a full view of the toilet?, The staff would not even let us see other bars if it was before 5 o'clock even though the night before they wouldnt allow us into the bars and clubs because it was after 9, there is not an ounce of hospitality in this place, you will leave feeling as though you got completely and totally ripped off as well as insulted.

Excellent staff, particularly door staff and bell boys. Concierge was also very helpful and proactive. The rooms were well appointed. Hotel had a good feel / vibe to it

Very noisey rooms, not road noise, more traffic in the corridors and also neighbours - made sleep very difficult

Amenities were great. Hotel design is modern and luxurious. Staff were attentive and responsive.

No hot water one morning - no notice from hotel about the issue. Rooms were noisy - could hear people talking in adjacent rooms.

From start to finish, this place is truly a "dream". Had a great time and I don't remember the last time I had such a good night of sleep.
