The hotel is very cool, the bedroom is quite big compared to others in NY. The bed is by far the most confortable I've ever had in NY. I didn't have to pay the Wifi as I was given a code.
There were some noisy people in the bedroom next to mine.
The interior & helpful staff
Ambience Staff Reception Concierge Location Service
Very few drawers in bedroom No storage in bathrooms Small room Tired decor in need of freshening Too many members of the public in the lobby and common parts

Fun Hotel Hip Design Friendly Staff Great Location in Chelsea
Staff were extremely helpful, the hotel is in a great location on the edge of Chelsea and the Meatpacking district. The Rooftop bar has incredible views of the midtown skyline.
Although the bedrooms are well decorated have all the required amenities, the wardrobe was tiny, which was a challenge on a girls trip away!
every thing was wonderful
Everything, especially the decor.
I loved everybody from the staff. They are always helpful and friendly. I like the lounge area and the style of the room. Can't wait to come back.
Loved the room, the bed was super comfy :)
It was hard to fall asleep when you could hear the music from the club downstairs until 4am. Bring ear plugs!
She was EXTREMELY helpful and willing to make anything I need work out.
Dream downtown is in the best part of town. Great nightlife and restaurants.
Noice from the night club
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - big shout out for John on the front desk who greeted us by name each time we passed! The pool was perfect and quirky as was the bar beneath. View from the room was spectacular with the Empire State Building displaying Hallowe'en colours.
I arrived, in a early morning flight from Brazil, I went to check in, but it was only 7am, and my room was not ready. I got a breakfast, but the manager seeing that I was very tired, up graded me to a better room, and gave me the keys! very nice
Design Beautiful decor
Very very noisy, couldn´t get one night of quiet sleep. I´ve stayed in others hotels that holds busy nightclubs but it didn´t interferied in the guest´s confort. I´ll definitely not stay in Dream Downtown again.
Excellent location and very helpful team, were able to accommodate me in a "quiet room" during Halloween and even provided a brookstone sleep machine.
If you can't have music blasting from both top and bottom floors and you want to get a good night sleep, this is not the hotel for you. If you want to party all nights (plural), this is the hotel for you.
Wifi was actually free . helpful staff . great location and room!
Super comfy beds are just a tease
As there's no sleeping at The Dream with the entire hotel wrapped in NY hottest nightclubs: top, bottom, & side. Bass booms, a parade of fashion models & inebriated catfights go on til 330am, & just when you think you're finally about to drift off, the party moves to the room next door.
I like how friendly and approachable all of the hotel employees. I like the location of the hotel. I like how they celebrated my sister's birthday with us by throwing us a complimentary wine. I called in for an early evening house keeping for my room and they were there right away. Parking staff Jose was great. Guest staff Malcom was very professional.
Visible scratches along the hallway. Its an eye sore. The WiFi was a bit slow.

Dream Downtown is absolutely perfect located for a Downtown stay. As we spent the days walking the streets all over Downtown Manhattan we appreciated to be so close to everything. We wanted the street life and had made no other plans. No transportation needed. Hotel staff where really helpful and always smiling. Arriving the first night we got an upgrade with a bigger bed and balcony. Thank you! This hotel is on top of our list when planning next trip to NY. Coming back soon!!!
A litle bit of disturbing noys from corridor when other guests came home from being out at night as the door was not soundproof.
The bed was comfy, the rest of the room was nice.
Wifi and wired internet is basically unusable. 2 laptops, 1 tablet, multiple phones, in room in reception, plugged into ethernet port in the room. All dismal. At one point I was get 4k/s while trying to install an app (it predicted it would take 45m, it was literally slower than a dialup modem).
Great hotel in the great location. Would stay there again.
