There is very limited parking in the lot, and water puddles on the un-leveled surfaces around the stair well, which I found annoying and a bit of a safety hazard. The box springs on the beds are also very noisy, so if you're a restless sleeper, this might not be the place for you. It was also a bit of a letdown that ocean front doesn't necessarily mean you have a balcony/patio. This had been stated in the booking description, however, so it wasn't unexpected.
Although the furnishings were slightly dated, everything was clean and there were signs, like the flooring in the bathroom, that they were starting to update things. I appreciated the clean and modern lines of the room, and, of course, the cleanliness. The big, open windows were a huge plus for our ocean front room. Overall, I thought it was a great value for the money we spent, and we loved being able to be on the Ormond/Daytona strip right on the ocean. I would definitely stay here again!
