the views, great prices and wonderful staff in restaurant., we were able to shuttle to and from the casino,
I wish there would have been a music system of some sort in the room, the only music came from an AM/FM clock radio, and I wish the bar would have stayed open later
View, spa, restaurant/lounge, beach access,
Wi-Fi access add a server or router
The unit is showing a lot of ware and could use update.
Kids in room above us running And jumplng for hours at a time. Should put families with small children on first floor.
Ocean view was wonderful. Choose Florence to stay because of driving distance to other places of interest.
Can't think of anything
Location was good. Having a restaurant on site was positive. Clean and, comfortable.
Older facility - if were updated, this would be a fabulous location and, would be frequented much more.
View Pool Restaurant
Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Every room has a balcony and an Ocean view .. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean in the background is wonderful. The restaurant had very good food and there were breakfast specials for guests.
Great views Easy Beach access Breakfast deal comfortable, slept well well-equipped room quiet
2 sets of towels for a reservation for 3 adults Front desk attendant a little cranky, and not welcoming in demeanor
Great beach access. Good for long walks. Restaurant has great food. Very professional staff. View is amazing.
Great view of the ocean.
No breakfast included in price; and not even any coffee available in the lobby. Pricey for a view. No decent restaurants close by.
Ocean proximity and good restaurant.
Unreliable Internet, no screen on sliding door to balcony.
It was a away from heavy traffic. Morning breakfast for each of the two day stay was outstanding. Close to the Beach great for a good walk.
Room was to small for the price! The microwave made very strange noises. Table and chairs on wrong side of room to view the television.
The rooms and the hotel staff are very good, very courteous and very responsive to requests for assistance with any and all other requests. If it can be done, they will assist you or explain why they cannot not. This isn't a contradictory statement. Think about it1
The fact that the restaurant doesn't stay open later than it does. It can make for boredom and evenings with nothing to do... unless one likes to wander the beach aimlessly at night, though I once did so during a full moon. Bring a good book to read or borrow one from those in the lobby.
I didn't like the heavy, hot bed covers.
Every room with an ocean view. Great bed Microwave and refridgerator Cable TV Wi-Fi
Didn't include breakfast
The Hotel was wonderful
The Restaurant was only mediocre We were expiating fresh seafood and fish from local fishers since you are on the sea and so close to the commercial fishermen
There is nothing better than a few days of going to sleep to the sound of the ocean and waking up to the same. Every room gives such a glorious view of the Pacific ocean.
The view, convenient restaurant...old town shopping
One hostess...not friendly at all..
The location on the beach was excellent. Lots of parking was great too. It is still a glorified motel since room doors open to the outside. Room was smallish or as some would put it "efficient use of space". It worked out ok for what we needed. Porch was nice too on the beach side. They had a restaurant on site as well since the motel "resort" is a few miles from town. Food there was very good.
Again, "resort" should be a loosely used term. No free breakfast, though their restaurant did offer a 2 for $13 breakfast and lunch menu that had good options on it. They had renovated the rooms on the fourth floor, otherwise, the first through third floor rooms were in need of a sprucing up. We were there in mid September so I'm not sure if the beach just wasn't combed his time I year or if they ever comb the beach. Maybe beach combers are an Atlantic beach thing. There wasn't "people" trash on the beach, just ocean trash; jelly looking things, seaweed etc. overall, it just seemed to be a place that was lookin I maximize the number of rooms versus the quality of the facilities. You can clearly see the extra two building that were constructed over e years to add rooms.
The location was where we could open the deck doors and hear the waves. It was clean, spacious, and staff were very helpful.
The restaurant is too small for the size of the facility, and it is understaffed.
The suite we ended up in after the horrible experiences we had was amazing, clean, updated, and smelled fresh. The only place apparently worth the money for the stay...only place I would ever book there again.
Oh man, where to begin. We drove many hours just to stay there on the beach with our family. We get in, and open the room and the smell hit us in face. The room was outdated, stinky, and the carpet actually had holes in it. There was mildew in the slider tracks and one of the chairs was soaking wet. We asked for a different room, two more rooms, much of the same. I was in tears, we came too far to find anything elsewhere and there was no wifi so I couldn't even search. After telling us they "shouldn't" do it, they put us in the suite which was updated and clean. That was a wonderful place. For the price, ALL the rooms should be that updated. The location is great, no excuse for stinky tired rooms, one of which reeked of smoke even though they claim No Smoking. :( nightmare material
Bad Bed Bad Refrigerator - didn't keep things cold Had medicine that needed to be kept cold. Told front desk and they said of I will have someone look at it. I was checking out. They didn't care. Unfriendly front desk people No fitted bottom sheet. Loud noise from other rooms Just a bad stay!!!!
My three teenage children and I stayed in a three-bedroom suite (nr 231) which, while slightly angled away from the main building provided great views over the beach and the ocean. The living area, kitchen, balcony and terrace were all very spacious. Beds were good, and Florence is a short drive away (10 to 1 mins). This place is 'as advertised' and for us good value for money.
When you drive up the resort gives a very low-budget motel impression, as does the reception 'area' (corner). We didn't like the 'reservation only' darkish dining/breakfast room either, but other than that this is a very nice place to spend a few days on the beach.
No Air conditioning. Very poor WiFi.
