Location is decent.. But If I had known the Lay Out I would probably have chosen other Star Hotels like Hilton, Marriott or Haytt that were giving me a lot better prices.. I chose this hotel based on its ranking for location on line.. and I was really not impressed.....
Way Way Overpriced.... I have traveled all over and have stayed in a lot better hotels for One Quarter of what I was charged for One night.. And of course the Parking Fee.. especially not in the Holiday Season...
Comfortable room with great food. Not too far of a walk to main attractions.
Nothing I didn't like.
Great location! Staff was nice. Room was clean. Comfy beds. Good breakfast and happy hour.
Hotel was a little dated
Afternoon drinks were a nice add on
When we checked in, we requested a river view room if available, but the when we got to the room, we found that it faced the alley. Calling the desk, the problem was resolved and another clerk gave us a river front room with a terrace. The full breakfast is great, and you can actually make a meal of the nightly reception snacks. The hotel is very secure and the entrance doors are accessed by the room key at all times.
The parking is very tight, and the spaces are small. The lobby was undergoing some renovation, but we were aware of this when reservations were made. During our weekend stay on 12/12/2014 thru 12/14/2014, the restaurant and bar at the hotel was closed, which was strange during a heavy traffic period like mid-December.
The location is excellent. The staff takes care of you, give advice and helps. There is a breakfast in the morning and also in the evening you can have drinks and food for free, kind of a get together. I was really happy: So go for it.
It was a Drury Inn.
being on the 7th floor with an abysmal view, paying for parking, unexpected remodeling in progress.(I was generously compensated for this)
IT WAS A GREAT EXPERINCE GREAT LOCATION VERY GOOD VALUE
The staff was excellent especially Amanda at the front desk. The breakfast and nightly snacks were also very good. The location was right on the river walk which made getting to other locations easier.
The queen size suite that we requested was clean but the carpet and bathroom facilities were very outdated. The carpet was worn in a few locations and the lounge chair had wholes in the arms. The shower head had a sever leak when in use and I had have the front desk send up a repair person to put on a new shower head. I was very disjointed in the room. I ask for a quite room and but instead was right on the river walk side which faced the other restaurant's and bars. The noise from these places went on until after midnight. Made it difficult to sleep. The lady doing our room was very nice and helpful. She couldn't help it that the room needed to have a new face lift.
The Location, good decaffeinated coffee; breakfast and evening drinks.
The same menu each evening, too many trees overlooking the terrace blocked the Riverwalk view. The indoor whirlpool.
The free food and drinks.
Being charged for parking while staying in your facility. This was ridiculous!
Loved the big room! The free hot meal and alcoholic drinks at 5:30 was a plus. The Free hot breakfast was wonderful too:)
We had to leave:(
The only downfall is your pool hours, wish you open earlier and stayed open later. Please add additional equipment for gym, thank you
Loved the kick-back food and drinks and breakfast. Such easy check-in and check-out!! Whole experience was great!!!
Just wish there were ceiling fans in rooms!!
The parking. It is really hard to park a crew cab 4 X 4 Toyota. Would like to have known it was a more car friendly garage before we arrived.
Wi-fi was good. Location was good.
Front desk personnel were poorly trained or did not perform duties properly. Socializing also seemed to be the top priority. Dead flies were on window sills while eating!
The location was within walking distance to every where we visited, the breakfast was good, the kick back was better than expected, and you get three free alcoholic drinks each day per adult which we did not know about until check in. The bed was extremely comfortable, the hotel was very clean, and all of the staff was friendly.
Nothing that I didn't like
Breakfast was excellent. Good Security.
It was very nice. I liked how the hotel served lunch, pop corn and drinks.
Room was very clean, excellent Riverwalk location, free breakfast was one of the best I've had and the evening kickback is enough food to eliminate the need to find dinner elsewhere. Staff was awesome and the parking was convenient and about the cheapest onsite parking for a hotel downtown.
The room I reserved was described as a King Suite. It seemed small which was a little disappointing. Other than that I can't think of a single complaint.
We were told it was one price then at check out it cost almost $75.00 more? Not cool!!
Direct access to the Riverwalk from bottom floor. Very good free hot breakfast. Good free evening beverages and food Daily Happy Hour at the hotel bar. Covered self-parking.
Elevator problems first two days.
I liked the breakfast and 5:30 kickback, common areas including workout room and pool. Pool was very small however. Do not let the long angle lense fool you.
The neighboring hotel wall was right next to our balcony, even worse the neighboring hotels pool was right next to our room. The sound of small children kept us up late into the night. Be sure to request a location away from next door hotel or pack a box fan for white noise. Parking garage was dingy and left a poor first impression of an otherwise nice hotel. I would update the ceiling tiles in the hallways too because they don't match up with the style of lobby and other common areas.
Evening happy hour was nice. Pool was excellent.. Staff was accommodating and gave us pass to other pool as well. All in all god stay. My grown children were allowed to visit us there and spend time at pool.
A little confusion about which hotel we were booking because both drurya are across street. This one had pool on roof but was a shorter building. Room on third floor was a bit dark. Was expensive for type of hotel but directly on river walk at high season.
