noisy ventilation system
The hotel is chic and very comfortable. Staff were lovely and the location is really good for access to Brooklyn Bridge, SoHo, Greenwich Village and Century 21.
They hold a security bond of $100 per night on your credit card. Not a big deal but make sure you allow for it as it takes a few days to reverse on your credit card.
Great hotel, friendly staff, perfect location, quiet yet central. Nice perks - like the pass to a nearby gym. Lovely breakfast (although not included). Loved the room and the decor generally and loved the intimate feel.
Shower was not powerful enough.
Excellent location - slightly away from the crowds and yet close to subways. Attentive, friendly and professional staff. Very clean. My 3rd stay at the hotel and I will definitely go back when in Manhattan
Room size The staff were focusing more on getting part of the drivers fee than on us, so we had to negotiate ourselves and exclude the hotel staff
Fab stay, great location in TriBeCa. Subway stations so close that the rest of Manhattan and beyond is really accessible. Totally recommend hotel.
Nothing to comment on. Perfect stay!
V. good location if you want to explore Soho by foot. You have no problem going uptown even to Brooklyn or Williamsburg. The staff are very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Also lots of eateries close by if you miss breakfast as it is gone around 8:30. There is a fruit flavoured water to drink and it's welcomed after a hot day out and their red apples are delicious.
Breakfast time could be extended a bit to accommodate clients wanting to rest after a hectic day touring and not everyday you want to leave early for sightseeing. The area with lovely thick wood by the reception should be utilised as it looks unattended, sad and useless looking.
I agree with the other reviews. Staff were v. friendly & helpful with a smile every time you are at the lobby. We got rooms with our grown up children on the same floor as we've requested. Convenient to Soho, World and Financial district, plenty of restaurant and shops and subway nearby. I enjoyed the red apples and lemon drink offered as the biscuits were gone when we arrived back after exploring the sights. We enjoyed our stay here. It makes a difference when the staff are nice and helpful.
Breakfast was gone by 08:30ish.
We brought our dogs with us and one of them developed a medical emergency The staff were extremely helpful in managing the situation Don't know what we would have done without them Couldn't have been more pleased with the care and attention they provided
We can hear and feel the subway pass underneath us every 5 minutes.
Location. Overall look of the hotel. Is a good place to sleep. That's it. Nothing else.
Reception staff should have a little less of an attitude. Specially a girl called Kelly. Extremely rude manners. Rooms can be a bit tight. But then again. is just a place to sleep.
Clean comfortable rooms Great connectivity Excellent location Modern NYC styling
Rooms very small
We had a great stay
top location, close to all major tube stations, lot of good restaurants and breakfast stores (try Zucker's) around, service was excellent and very helpful
noise from water intake/sewage system was soemwhat disturbing at night, service was looking into the problem but could not fix it (leading to medium performance assessment, otherwise it would be good plus)
The location is great as are the staff. The access to Equinox gym down the street is super.
The price is high. The air conditioning in the room I had is very loud and blows right on your head while laying in bed. So it's hard to keep it on at night. Also the elevator is loud if you have the room right across.
Great location, very nice and helpful staff; next time in NY - probably here again!
Location small quaint
Bed was comfortable.
No coffee pot, no shower door, no room.
Great location right next to good Subway lines. Really fresh, well equipped modern room - loved the Nespresso machine in my room. Great area, felt really neighbourly to be in & local restaurants were also very good.
It's a boutique hotel so not really any extra facilities - not that you really need them in NYC but thought I'd point that out;)
The staff was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, it was just an excellent experience.
Strong hotel in great location with excellent rates for the area and size of rooms; awesome decor; great shower and bathroom; staff was on point; restaurant was quiet, but enough
comfortable bed and pillows. Good internet.
Shower that doesn't close was strange, but not really a problem.
The bed is super comfortable, room modern with hardwood floor and staff very helpful!
The opening hours/days of the hotel restaurant. Room service disorganised; my room was serviced in late afternoon.
Booked a room for four, confirmation unperceptibly indicated 3, and the hotel said only two per room. Had to pay for an additional room
