A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be helpful
Overheard a staff member use profanity.
very comfortable bed and a warm fireplace in the room. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was home like. We had a room overlooking the river and enjoyed watching the ducks.
Beautiful lodge. Breakfast was included and very nice. Complimentary wine included with the room. Beds were very comfortable and fireplace in the room. Well priced and nice for a romantic getaway.
Beautiful room with fireplace in the room and jetted tub. Nice view to the river. Bed was comfy and rustic decor felt warm and homey. Stayed in the shoulder season and rates were great.
Wifi was a bit sketchy and slow but kinda worked. Breakfast was included which was great but it's a continental breakfast. I would have expected a B&B style home cooked breakfast. But for the price I can't really complain. Would definitely stay there again. If I was paying high season rates I think the breakfast would have been more disappointing.
Beautiful location Peaceful Fresh baking Nice selection for breakfast Friendly owners
Hard to find the first time, in the dark
Friendly staff View from the room
Poor WiFi signal Poor sound proofing
Loved the quiet.
Rooms, very comfy big bed, friendly staff
Wifi worked intermittently
Fantastic room. Sat on the deck outside the room and drank complimentary wine. We weren't exactly on our honeymoon; we've been married 47 years, but we appreciated the room and the service.
The ambiance of this small Inn was superb. the rooms were very tastefully furnished. Ours had a spa bath in a very well appointed bathroom. The bedroom was wonderful, with a lovely fire. Attached to this room was its own private little deck! where we sat and watched the river life just below us while we savoured the bottle of wine complements of the house. A very nice touch.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this Inn.
A beautiful Inn, lovely bedroom, quiet location so much so we stayed an extra night. Would certainly recommend. We are from Scotland travelling around. The best we stayed in.
Friendliness of staff Rooms were clean and tasteful Bathroom was very nice with a real deep soaking tub Room had a nice balcony Breakfast every morning was ready by 7 am which was great for us
Since the large soaking tub is combined with the shower, it is a little hard to get in and out of.
Clean, great location, very attractive place
Bed was a little lumpy
Everything; we arrived a bit early, and they rushed to get our room ready. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, very good location AWAY from road, but so close to downtown and restaurants. Pleasant river view, nice b'fast; White Fish is kinda like Lake Tahoe in the late 60s, early 70s; it's gonna BLOOM, Big Time.
No 'Downton Abbey' legion of servants????? HaHA!
Historical ambiance, yet offering a modern bath, great bed & and all the tech amenities we're accustomed to.
Quaint inn feel ambiance breakfast
facility was beautiful....nice along the river...very quiet
No signage near the road....no lights at night...you would not be able to find the Inn after dark.
Staff, quiet, good feel
Wes (manager) Breakfast Room and décor Comfortable Clean
The Inn is located next to a residential neighborhood - the neighbor dog barked at 6am - if you were out on the balcony... quite irritating if you had the windows open. Stayed here while visiting Glacier - it is a bit far from the park - but is so much better than the typical National Park lodging, that it was worth it to us
Staff prepared a lovely breakfast for us to "take away" as we departed before breakfast service began. Thank you!
Awkward to find! and the cancellation poilcy was in reality: "once booked, you are stuck staying or pay regardless". Room in reality was quite small. Bunk beds were sqashed in corner of room so there was no space to open suitcases or move about. We paid for king room but were not told that involved significant stairs with no elevator and neither of us can do stairs. Sad.
-The room was beautiful - Great bed - Very clean - Beautiful surroundings and views - Great location - Friendly, very accommodating staff
- noise from adjoining rooms - would have enjoyed more of a hot breakfast - price seems a bit high considering the lack of add on amenities other than breakfast
Off the beaten path by just a block, we found the Duck Inn Lodge to be the perfect way to wind down a vacation out west! Beautifully and tastefully put together from the warm front room to our guest room. And a bonus for our daughter was the bunk bed! Felt like home and we were only there one night!
We had to leave so early that we missed out on breakfast! Our fault!
Everything about this lodge was great. Kind of like a B&B lodge. The staff were very nice and accommodating, the location is just a few blocks away from the town center. The kids love the bunk bed. I wish they would build access to the river just behind the property. Breakfast was better than most motel. Highly recommended for all traveller types.
