We wanted a remote place and this was remote
Teenagers weren't impressed
Comfy beds with good breakfast
Very little to do around town, fine if you're happy to stay in.
Friendly welcome, nice communal dining area/kitchen, good breakfast, good advice on Grand Canyon visits.
I didn't like the poor WiFi and the price.
I liked the hostess, the breakfast, the accommodations, the location.
Breakfast was excellent. Room was very nice
Judy (owner) and Eva(the backbone of the operation, who cooks and cleans, are wonderful and personable. The photos online look like a whole lot of clutter and it is but it's all clean and well maintained. I thought it would be dusty given the desert and all of that stuff but the bedroom and kitchen were remarkably clean! Quiet location and the breakfast is homemade. She makes biscuits and poppy seed muffins from scratch. Also the stuff you'd expect pancakes and bacon etc. This was our first B&B and we will definitely do it again because they were friendly and the breakfast was amazing.
Poor wifi and older TV but the Direct TV worked fine.
Quiet and clean. Great bed (we have a TemperPedic and were happy).
Just about everything about the accommodation. Think we must've got the worst room in the place AND it was extremely expensive. A shame with a bit (quite a bit) it could be lovely but still very expensive.
The lovely lady who ran the place The peace and tranquility
Location, Judy and Eva were very welcoming and we had a wonderful visit . The breakfast could not be outdone! The trip to Grand Canyon was beautiful. I would recommend to everyone.
Breakfast is very good.
We've stayed 2 nights and our room has not been cleaned after the 1st night, towels not changed etc... Rather expensive for being in the middle of nowhere, more than half an hour from Grand Canyon
Breakfast is good, plenty
King size bed, couldn't find my wife.
Amount of room
I liked that there were NOT a lot of lights on at night outside but it was hard to see where to turn in at night. Maybe a colored light on the sign would have helped. The drop off the main road coming in needs some leveling with the gravel. Some big dips. No grocery stores near by but there are 2 gas stations and 2 restaurants within a mile.
Judy greeted us when we arrived and helped us with some Canyon questions. She was knowledge and friendly and introduced us to other guests. Eva made fabulous breakfast choices and dinner if you choose. The steak was yummy after a long day of hiking! The rooms were unique and decorated with such a variety of items from all over, it would make anyone feel at home. The main bedroom had a fireplace made with petrified wood. The sitting room in the Navajo Rooms was off the courtyard and dining room. Very clean! Not far from the Grand Canyon
The place is absolutely adorable. Very nice and comfortable suit (Navajo), great breakfast and hospital hostess!
It smelled bad, the TV didn't work, and we couldn't find the owner to get help with the TV. We were basically staying in the owner's apartment which wasn't at all what I was expecting (wish we'd known that ahead of time). The owner was nice but we could never find her when we needed her. There's no office. Owner was very nice, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. She didn't bother to clean our room when we went out during the day - very poor communication from owner. And calling this place a "bed and breakfast" is a real stretch.
The back porch was nice.
Decor and location
Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed meeting other travelers from other countries
This was a gem of a B&B, friendly staff, clean rooms and overall excellent place to stay. We have a two bedroom suite with a shared bathroom along with a small sitting lounge. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and plentiful.
The jacuzzi wasn't working and the wifi was really poor, which may have been due to the weather.
The hosts were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. I liked that it was fairly close to the Grand Canyon. Nice and cozy bnb.
It was a very cozy stay thanks to the staff.
Middle of no where. One store and a petrol station near by and no pool.
Family room was great. Plenty of space and en suite facilities.
The owner Judy is a very warm and friendly person doing everything to make her guests feel comfortable. The breakfast was very good and I extremely liked the room decoration. Many thanks!
No swimming pool and slow wifi connection
Best value for money lodging in these surroundings. Small scale and personal approach.
The rooms, towels, beds were not clean enough, more then 20 miles away from GC, the owner booked price twice, still haven't money back, expensive when count all what it provides.
Nice place, interesting house with many local decorations, the lady that prepared the breakfast was very nice etc.
Be careful there is à mistake in the advertising In fact the cottage is only for two people and not for four as we were The cottage has no bedroom only a room. After the first night we moved in a flat but the second bed was old and not confortable at all
The lady who is so pleasant and helpfull The breakfast
