The lovely lady who ran the place The peace and tranquility
Just about everything about the accommodation. Think we must've got the worst room in the place AND it was extremely expensive. A shame with a bit (quite a bit) it could be lovely but still very expensive.
Location, Judy and Eva were very welcoming and we had a wonderful visit . The breakfast could not be outdone! The trip to Grand Canyon was beautiful. I would recommend to everyone.
Breakfast is very good.
Breakfast is good, plenty
We've stayed 2 nights and our room has not been cleaned after the 1st night, towels not changed etc... Rather expensive for being in the middle of nowhere, more than half an hour from Grand Canyon
Amount of room
King size bed, couldn't find my wife.
Judy greeted us when we arrived and helped us with some Canyon questions. She was knowledge and friendly and introduced us to other guests. Eva made fabulous breakfast choices and dinner if you choose. The steak was yummy after a long day of hiking! The rooms were unique and decorated with such a variety of items from all over, it would make anyone feel at home. The main bedroom had a fireplace made with petrified wood. The sitting room in the Navajo Rooms was off the courtyard and dining room. Very clean! Not far from the Grand Canyon
I liked that there were NOT a lot of lights on at night outside but it was hard to see where to turn in at night. Maybe a colored light on the sign would have helped. The drop off the main road coming in needs some leveling with the gravel. Some big dips. No grocery stores near by but there are 2 gas stations and 2 restaurants within a mile.
The place is absolutely adorable. Very nice and comfortable suit (Navajo), great breakfast and hospital hostess!
The back porch was nice.
It smelled bad, the TV didn't work, and we couldn't find the owner to get help with the TV. We were basically staying in the owner's apartment which wasn't at all what I was expecting (wish we'd known that ahead of time). The owner was nice but we could never find her when we needed her. There's no office. Owner was very nice, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. She didn't bother to clean our room when we went out during the day - very poor communication from owner. And calling this place a "bed and breakfast" is a real stretch.
Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed meeting other travelers from other countries
Decor and location
This was a gem of a B&B, friendly staff, clean rooms and overall excellent place to stay. We have a two bedroom suite with a shared bathroom along with a small sitting lounge. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and plentiful.
The hosts were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. I liked that it was fairly close to the Grand Canyon. Nice and cozy bnb.
The jacuzzi wasn't working and the wifi was really poor, which may have been due to the weather.
It was a very cozy stay thanks to the staff.
Family room was great. Plenty of space and en suite facilities.
Middle of no where. One store and a petrol station near by and no pool.
The owner Judy is a very warm and friendly person doing everything to make her guests feel comfortable. The breakfast was very good and I extremely liked the room decoration. Many thanks!
Best value for money lodging in these surroundings. Small scale and personal approach.
No swimming pool and slow wifi connection
Nice place, interesting house with many local decorations, the lady that prepared the breakfast was very nice etc.
The rooms, towels, beds were not clean enough, more then 20 miles away from GC, the owner booked price twice, still haven't money back, expensive when count all what it provides.
The lady who is so pleasant and helpfull The breakfast
Be careful there is à mistake in the advertising In fact the cottage is only for two people and not for four as we were The cottage has no bedroom only a room. After the first night we moved in a flat but the second bed was old and not confortable at all
Judy the owner was great, giving us a warm and friendly welcome. The place feels like home and our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was really good and it make a lovely change having a real person to cook it for you. The Dumplin patch is unique for its individuality and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Breakfast Bedroom Garden Silence All the forniture and stuff
It is far from the Grand Canyon. The shower was broken.
The proprietor (Judy) was so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast cooked by Eva was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The property itself was the perfect place to stay. Only 25 - 35 minutes drive to the South Entrance of The Grand Canyon.
Not a thing.
Absolutely charming! Judy is a fabulous host and her accommodations are unique and very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and homemade and homemade dinners are also an option, prepared for you by a chef that is brought in. We absolutely loved staying here and would absolutely visit again!
The house is amazing!
Really hard to find it.
Nice big room in old fashioned english style. Quiet. VERY nice full breakfast every morning. Nice landlady that talked to all guests in the morning and gave tips. About 35-40 minutes drive from Grand canyon national park.
Staff is amazing, so accommodating! We stayed in the "shack" but don't let the name scare you this is a super cute little cabin, with everything you could need during your stay. The breakfast was made fresh daily and we enjoyed meeting the other guest who were also staying on property. Judi and her staff really made us feel like family. Recommend to anyone and everyone! I can't wait to stay here again.
No large super markets or many restautants very close by. Just a tip-stop in a larger city to pick up the essentials so you don't have to waste your money on over priced bottles water at the gas station!
