It's located in downtown Hillsboro, closed to the metro and some tasty Mexican restaurant's. Its not fancy, but it's super clean, has a fridge, microwave and cable TV with Wi-Fi, what more do you need, plus there's a gourmet coffee shop across the street. The best bang for your buck you'll find.
I like the good choices of Mexican cuisine located nearby. I like that there is a police substation one block over as this is in a neighborhood that is not the most inviting.
The thermostat on the wall does absolutely nothing it would be nice if there was a note or something there to keep you from fiddling with it.
Good value for the money, close to food and services, decent area if a bit urban.
One of the doors leading to the outside has no lock. This needs to be fixed immediately.
The right price, clean, secure and friendly. I stay there regularly when in Hillsboro for business.
Pillows are hard, bring your own and you'll sleep well. Access is tricky because street has a meridian in the middle, go down a block turn around and come back.
My blankets had cigarette burns at the bottom along with rips when I asked housekeeping if they could change them they said not until tomorrow but I was leaving at 8 am it was horrible! !!!
The bathtub was deep and the wifi and cable were great
They were doing construction on the motel. It echoed through the whole place was very disruptive. Also their credit card machine didn't work.
learned that this was home to alot of people not travelers and only one way in with traffic.
It was convenient for our plans
Night access was awkward as you had to go up a flight of stairs, unlock a door, and go down half a flight of stairs to get in or out - not cool with baggage
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice.
We were placed in a "non-smoker room" that was located right next to a smoker room so the entire room still smelt like smoke. It took me several days to get the smoke smell out of my clothes and pillow afterwards
The style is very appealing. The remodeling is going very well.
Bed was a little too hard for my taste but hotel/motel usually are.
Easy access at night. TV and internet excellent. Quiet at night.
Plastic covers on bed. I pulled those off after discovery, which helped on hot summer nights.
seediness of area and clients, clustering in parking lot, smoking on hotel steps. There are steps to the entrance, so you have to carry luggage up before you can use a cart. Door lock not always functioning properly. Windows on a blind alley with junk in it.
Loved the tile in the updated bathroom
Needed to keep the air pumping all night, and for some reason I kept waking up. Could be what we ate at the wedding, and not the motel's fault!
Wifi was good
Located on a very busy road, so constant traffic noise. Office not open until 7:00 am so no coffee if you're on the road early. Parking tough to get when busy.
Smoking rooms next to non-smoking rooms - STINKS, it's pricey for age of building.
Location on Hwy 8 was convenient. Fridge and microwave in room are a plus.
Stale air in lobby and hallway - smells like smoke all the time. No elevator Dated carpet and furniture. Upon arrival you get the feeling you just want to get out of there.
Absolutely nothing! Gross!
The motel stunk so bad! The sheets had blood on them, the toilet had spots of urine on it. When i told the front desk I was told we could check out with no refund or deal with the unsanitary room. After paying $90 for that room we had no choice but to stay! Would not recommend this place to anyone, including a homeless person. Never again! Just nasty, stinky, gross! Room rate is way too much! And the owner/manager very rude!
The motel was clean, well run, and had an ethnic decor as it is located in a Mexican American area of town. It was located near my destination.
The area didn't feel upbeat to me. If I wanted a tourist type of experience I probably would not stay there.Since I was there mainly for business purposes, it was ok .
The price and location were the only two good points for this hotel. Only $66 for a queen and in the heart of Hillsboro.
We paid for a queen bed and oddly enough, ended up with two doubles and a twin. The room was not particularly clean-- there were clothing stickers on the walls and everything was pretty musky. There was absolutely no parking in the tiny lot when we got back to our hotel after 10:00, so we had to park in the neighborhood around the block. The nighttime entrance was propped open by a bottle a bleach-- which made us feel really secure.
Ease of check in and out
Parking facilities. Bed too spongy.
Full fridge freezer and microwave in the room Close to places to eat Clean Good location
No breakfast No guest laundry, even though it was advertised!
No breakfast offered
There was a mistake with our room and within 15 min the gentleman made up for it quickly by getting us an even better room.
The room was clean & beds were comfortable.
We were in a no smoking room but it still smelled of smoke. When we got home, we & all of our belongings smelled of smoke.
